/ Nanjing / The City
It is the
capital of Jiangsu Province and is located at the lower reaches
of the Yangtze River. Its urban area covers 867.21 square km and
its population is 128 million.
Eight dynasties
established their capital here and it is one of the seven ancient
capital cities in China.
From Nanjing,
tourists can go to Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jinan and other
places by train and to Huangshan Mountain, Hangzhou, Suzhou and
other places by coach.
