The city, located 100km (62mi) from Manila, has not much to offer. Most Batangas visitors arrive to continue to Puerto Galera or Calapan on Mindoro by ferry boat.

LIPA CITY
84km (52mi) from Manila; a beautiful neat town which has an architecturally interesting city hall just north of the downtown proper. Buses no longer pass through the downtown area as the bus station is on a cutoff.
