Dickewella
65 km from Matara on the road to Hambantota lies the beach of Dickewella. There is only one hotel here but wedged between two beaches and a rocky head jutting out into the sea it has a superb location. On the way you pass the lighthouse at Dondra Head, flashing its beacon from Sri Lanka’s southern most tip. From here till Antarctica, there is nothing but ocean.
