Business Facilities
In the past several years there has been a substantial enhancement of banking facilities in order to keep pace with the sophisticated needs of Sri Lanka’s growing business community. The services provided today and constantly updated by Sri Lankan and foreign banks are commensurate with the expanding demands of investors.
Banking Hours are becoming more flexible as per customer requirements.
Banks function from 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs, Mondays through Fridays. Certain city banks close at 1500 hrs and some offer night banking facilities.
Apart from weekends banks are do seed on all Public Holidays and special Bank Holidays on June 30 and December 31.
