Social Life / Churches
Thailand has been tolerant in religious matters for hundreds of years, and there were practically no limitations on non-Buddhist churches in times when in other parts of the world those not conforming to a national religion have been vigorously persecuted. Most Christian denominations and sects have churches in Bangkok, some for hundreds of years. Some sects, such as the Mormons and the Moonies, try hard to win Thai converts.
