This well established dive school under German management offers instruction in English and, in case of demand, German or Thai; arrangements are available for beginners as well as for experienced divers.
One-day courses (1,900 Baht) are offered for those who want to get a first taste of diving. There is theoretical instruction in the morning, followed by some practice in shallow water and a real dive in the afternoon to a maximum depths of 5 meters.
An international PADI dive course, taking 3 to 4 days is available for 7,900 Baht, plus 800 Baht for the PADI certificate.
For experienced divers, dive trips with two dives each are arranged to islands close to Pattaya (1,350 Baht) or further away (1,650 Baht). Furthermore, two night dives are offered for 1,650 Baht and two wreck dives for 1,750 Baht.
Paradise divers also offers arrangements for those who just want to snorkel or accompany divers, to islands close to Pattaya (290 to 400 Baht) or those further away (400 to 550 Baht).

Mermaid Sea-Sport Center is a PADI five-star instructor development center. They offer PADI training as well as dive trips, and their shop sells and services dive equipment.
Mermaid's offers a 1-day course for beginners which includes basic training and two boat dives on a coral reef, all necessary equipment as well as hot lunch, all inclusive for 2,000 Baht. Furthermore, the center offers 4-day Open Water Courses ending with a PADI International Open Water Scuba Diver Certification. The dive student also gets the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, a Recreational Dive Planner, Log Book, Certificate, Emblem and a Personalized Certification Gold Card.
Courses begin daily at 8:00 and last until 18:00. The first 2 days of a course are spent in the classroom and at the pool. On day 3 there are first more lessons in the classroom as well as instructions at the pool; but then the dive student has his first two dives out on the ocean. Day 4 is entirely spent on the dive boat and, of course, under water. The course costs 8,500 Baht. It is recommended to book a few days before training starts so one will have the opportunity to look through the manual.
All PADI continuing education courses are available, also for specialty areas such as drift diving, wreck diving and underwater photography. Mermaid's Sea-Sport Center conducts PADI Instructor Development Courses and Instructor Crossover Courses for instructors from other training agencies.

Dive trips to outer islands cost 700 Baht plus 950 Baht for an all-
inclusive equipment package. Passengers can come along to snorkel and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere for 500 Baht. Wreck trips are mostly on weekends for 800 Baht plus 950 Baht equipment rental.
