This temple is the largest Buddhist edifice in Kunming, and it is well
visited by Pilgrims. Allegedly, the temple is more than 1,000
years old. However, what can be seen today is much newer. The temple has
undergone repeated renovation. There are also a new building with a statue
of Sakyamuni, given by the King of Thailand.
