Has a typical desert climate having extreme temperatures, little and variable rainfall, a high percentage of sunshine and frequently occurring dust storms. Maximum temperatures range from 104 F/40 C to 122 F/50 C during the hottest season in July and August, while mild, pleasant days characterize the weather from November to April. During the cooler months of December and January, night temperatures can be relatively low.

Occasional rain falls between November and April. It is generally light and amounts to an average of fifteen centimeters(six inches) annually, although thunderstorms can bring as much as five centimeters at a time.
