good morning everyone welcome back happy tuesday for us hopefully this video goes up on time happy friday for you we are doing a daily vlog today and honestly we've got a lovely day ahead so first things first i am taking myself to the gym this morning so i'm gonna pack my stuff now i feel like because i haven't done it in so long i i just want to use the amenities you know i want to use the steam room i want to use the sauna um because i haven't used them since last year because obviously when i had my surgery it was like you can't use steam rooms you can't use saunas so i just kind of got out of the habit of using them and i feel like steam especially is like quite good for your skin so i want to go there today because i'm not in a rush i've got loads of time and i using my nemo robe makeup bag i'm getting all my skincare in here I've got some hair oil as well.Again, I'm gonna wash my hair.I'm gonna use the straighteners.I'm just gonna really take my time.Got my electrolytes, lime, favorite flavor.Put those there, actually.

And yeah, I just wanna have a really nice, slow morning at the gym.So that's what I'm gonna do.Got my headphones, got my Kindle, of course, and then after the gym, it's a Furybound release day today.So if that means something to you, that means something to you.Basically one of my favorite books that I read last year.The second book literally comes out today.

So I'm gonna go and pick up my copy from Waterstones.I'm gonna do a little food shop and maybe we'll see Chintz as well later on today.But yeah, Tuesday we are fresh off the back of a pandemic.weekend so I hope you all enjoyed a nice long weekend we went to Knott's which was really nice I saw my niece and nephew who I love so much my nephew's like really what's the word like this was the biggest jump that I've noticed in him like he's like quite chatty I mean he's always been chatty but like You can actually like have a conversation with him.I mean, he's not doing like four sentences, but like four words maybe.And it's like, so grown up now.

My niece is just the cutest little girl in the whole world.So we had a lovely weekend in Notts.I mean, we went to Showcase, of course, had to hit up Showcase, best cinema of all time.And me and Brian and my mum went to see Michael Jackson.Well, yeah, it's called Michael.Incredible.

And then all me and Brian listened to for a whole three hour car journey home was Michael Jackson.it guys it was so good like if chintz hasn't seen it yet because i don't think she saw it yet um like i have we have to go again it was insane i i loved every minute i was like wow this is great like i thought i was gonna really enjoy it but i loved it i thought it was amazing like my whole algorithm now is like jafar and the whole film and it was just so good like it was just incredible And now I've been doing like a whole deep dive on Jafar and like the training.And apparently he started training at the start of 2023, I think.How crazy is that?And apparently he was training for like two years before he even like officially got the role.But it was so good.

You literally felt like you were watching Michael Jackson.I was like, wow, this is like a Michael Jackson performance.And I was like, oh my God, it's actually his nephew.Crazy.It was such a good film.So if anyone's going to cinema at the weekend, I'd highly recommend that.

We've really been nosing in my bag recently.We had the dresswe had Michael.What else do I wanna see?I feel like there's just some good stuff in there right now.I'm sure there was something else that was on my radar.

Oh, Devil Wears Prada 2, not seen that yet.Maybe me and Chintz can try and do that.Anyway, right, let's get to the gym.I think I'm gonna do some legs today.I've got this little Adidas jacket on.What do we think?

Kind of like a shell, shell suit, shell jacket vibes.I don't know if I wish I got it like bigger so it was like really big or actually we just lean into the, I don't know.I like a big jacket, but no, I like it.It's cute.I like the color.Okay, let me get my trainers on and I'll see you there.

All done.I don't know which workout I'm going to do today.I don't know why, but just felt like it.so gonna warm up on the stair master maybe like 15 minutes 15 minutes warm up um just so we can get sweaty get feeling get moving and then i'm gonna do some lower body so i think i'm gonna do hip thrusts i like using the hip thrust machine because it's a bit less faff than like the bar the weights that that i like just having the machine that's like ready to go and that machine is like is it it's not new but it's like new to the gym maybe like six months ago and i was very happy when they got that so gonna use that gonna do some split squats gonna do some i'm gonna do more like dumbbells, dumbbell leg stuff today.So like split squats, some like deadlift, maybe some kettlebell stuff.I'm not gonna do like squats or like proper, whoa, sirens.

Oh my god, when we were driving back from Nottingham, guys, I saw a police chase.the motorway, like a proper police chase.It was, it was crazy.Mostly lower body with a bit of cardio, kettlebells, dumbbells, maybe some stuff on the cables, hip thrusts, split squats, some sort of deadlifts.And then we'll just see what's free.I mean, I'm kind of late now, so I feel like I've missed the morning rush.

So hopefully it's a nice quiet gym and I've got my pick of the bunch, but let's go get this done.Fingers crossed.I'm gonna take my Kindle in, steam, shower, change again, jump in here.Been loving this again, Caudalie Vino Perfect Serum Eclat.Really good for sensitive skin, really gentle, really good for acne, really good for acne scarring, which is like a thing for me.Exhibit A, spot here, like weeks ago.

good morning from the bathroom i'm just doing my morning skincare i've been to the gym i've had a lovely bath i've kind of like slipped my hair is not doing the best today so i've kind of done a little right that i need to kind of fix that i've got a little half up half down moment going on skin's looking okay you know i had a little spot i had a spot here last week and one there was one on my forehead but that doesn't seem to have left a mark but to fade dark spots, the best serum in the world.I have been using this for years, like years and years and years, is the Caudalie Vino Perfect.I have so many of these.They have a mega size that is like triple the size of this, it's insane.The Vino Perfect, it's honestly perfect for fading dark spots.It's amazing, it's never broken me out, leaves you with a gorgeous like glow.

You can use it morning and night.It's almost like a vitamin C alternative, but I promise it really does work at fading the dark spots.If I use this serum for the rest of this week, by the end of the week, this mark will have significantly gone down.It's so lovely.This is the one serum that I have always used for years.I'm going to put a bit of SPF on because it is the morning.

Went to the gym, fed blueberry, had some nice porridge this morning.We went on a nice walk.I just did like the step machine at the gym.I'm kind of just like bored of it but it's just like whatever.But it's May. I can't believe it's May to be honest.Like summer is here.

The weather's not really giving.It was last week and like on Saturday but it's not anymore is it i'm actually gonna put i'm gonna try and pull myself together a little bit and i've got look at these i've got the victoria beckham like water tints so i've got this red one it's kind of like when you've what's going on here it's kind of like when you've got no makeup on and this is the bronzer one So this is in the shade Color Wash Bronze, Bronze Water Tint.So this is in Tan Line and then this one is Flushed.I've used this, so look, look.Maybe that will, okay.Great, let's put a bit.

It's almost like the Benetint, but I think it's, it's less like, you use less, like it's more sheer.Like if I put that much Benetint on my cheeks, oh my God.But like, can you kind of see that?Like it's kind of just giving a bit of, something to the cheeks i really i think in summertime like for pool days and like stuff like that on holiday i think this will be really nice like that is really you can see let's put a bit more lips it's yeah it's not as strong as benetillite on the lips but still nice because my lips are like literally got no color in it we've got an amazing day of tv if i'm honest we've got a max tonight and it's like the most insane episode where they're bringing in like other potential matches and i'm really excited that is that's really natural i put a bit of the just to show you i'll put a bit of the tan line on my forehead i did actually fade down last night it's like a weird applicatorI guess you could put that on my nose.Let's see, was that a bit much?

I really want to try and make, I bought some coconut water.because i've been seeing all the girlies do should i try and sort this out i've been seeing all the girlies making well it's like the trendy thing to do a coconut water matcha i'm like look i like coconut water i like matcha and about half up half down it's like it hurts like the way the hair can get caught if i've got a new comb let's try it there we go but yeah i want to try and make a coconut water matcha i've been seeing people make like coconut cloud matches i've not got cream to do like a creamer on top but I've got some milk so we can like apparently you whisk it with the milk and then you just pour it over coconut water.So let's give it a go.Also, Blueberry's doing well.It's her birthday next month.And did I say I wanted to take her to the beach?

Well, I've booked that trip.We're going to go to Lyme Regis.That's where we're going to go with mom and honey and Mary and stuff.And we like Lyme Regis.It's where we'd always go as a child.And I've not been in a couple of years.

I think mom went last year.But there's some dog friendly beaches.So mom, we're going to go with mom and me. I think she's gonna love it.

Hair's washed, feel nice and clean.I've showered already, steamed, sauna.That was a beautiful experience.And yeah, I got the perfect matcha shake.it's good i think chintz would like this a lot actually it's perfect to have matcha banana ice vanilla it just kind of tastes like a matcha but like really thick and like a bit protein -y but it's good but yeah i did have a man make it once no offense and i just thought you just don't get it because it just wasn't right i don't know what wasn't right about it but it did put me off for a long time but i know that lady makes good ones and i was like you can be trusted so got this right oh it's time for now Furybound!So whilst I'm out and since I'm clean, I'm going to go and do my food shop and I'm also going to go to Waterstone to pick up that book I was telling you guys about, which I'm very excited for.

And yeah, oh, it just feels so good to be clean.Wow.I've missed doing all that stuff in the gym.That's a whole other part.Wow.That was so nice.

Usually I'm always at the gym like early and rushing.So That was really nice to take my time there this morning.

So March, no, March, well, May, also happy May.Chuff, can't believe we're in May.May reads are going to be When the Moon Hatched Too, aka Ballad of the Falling Dragons, and Furybound, what I just bought, and what I was reading on my Kindle right now, and what I was reading a little bit at the gym is A Tongue So Sweet and Deadly, which is a book that, okay, this looks good now.I feel like I've got the proportions right again.It's a book that I started on the plane to LA, and I read like 70 pages, and then I kind of got really invested in my other reads, so kind of forgot about it.Went back to it a few days ago, and I was like, I've completely forgotten this whole thing, so I'll start it again.

So I think now I'm at page like 100 again.But that's like my Kindle read, so that's gonna be like my gym on -the -go read, and then I'm gonna have Furybound and When the Moon Hatched 2 for other purposes.Right, let's get everything on a fork.I like this, not too much sauce, but still moist.Am I chopping away?

day we're having today.It's a little bit later, it's actually almost like 5pm but I've been doing some work.I made a head start on getting this video edited so we can get it up for Friday.I am yet to start my book even though it's staring at me but I thought just as my last stop of the day before I sit down and read my book, which I'm so excited to start, I'm just going to meet my friend and we're going to get some steps in.We're going to do a little walk, maybe get an iced coffee if the placehere is still open i'm also listening to a podcast right now i've really been enjoying the morgan stewart show i love that and i've also really been enjoying oh wait what's it called good hang by amy oh no i can't remember her last name the girl from parks and rec the woman from parks and rec the blonde lady oh my god i can't remember her name amy i'm sure it begins with a p something and i've been loving her podcast she gets really good guests it's really like i'm just listening i'm just listening to her one now with steve carell really good guests really like comfort audio and i really like it and i've been yeah loving the morgan stewart show so That's two podcast recommendations from me.

i'm so excited i'm actually so excited okay it is about what time are we on okay it's almost 7 p .mm so i've honestly probably got like another hour until brian gets home so i'm gonna just try and have a nice solid reading hour i always like to give myself like a really good I don't know, I feel like when you start a book, you want to give yourself time to like really read a good few chapters because I feel like otherwise you can kind of struggle to get into it.You know, if you pick up a book and you just read like two chapters, I find it hard to kind of like, I don't know, I just like to start a book by reading a really good chunk.Does that make sense?So I'm hoping that I'm going to have an uninterrupted hour to really dive in.Maybe we will read like 60 pages that would be great honestly like really trying to remember like really where we left off in book one i think i do remember but there are bits that hate that are hazy but i'm hoping it's going to come back to me so fury bound here we come so excited if you haven't read direbound okay just really really quickly if you like your books like me and if you've read fourth wing okay if you've read fourth wing and you loved it and you're like i need something like fourth wing like i need that fourth wing feeling i swear to god direbound it's so up there like it is so up there with that fourth wing feeling direbound is basically fourth wing with wolves like instead of bonding to dragons we're bonding to wolves and it's just fantastic so if you like your fantasy books and you've read quite a few and if for some reason you haven't read direbound i highly highly recommend it
