it's only eight o 'clock in the morning and i've come downstairs this is earlier than usual for me to check on the pea chicks i haven't even got to them yet and i've already found emma and pavlina in the kitchen pavlina's already been to check on them as has hanni and they are alive and well they've made it through the first night good morning how are you good how are you well excited but terrified i spent the whole night worrying about those pea chicks i woke up hearing peacocks calling thinking no Don't let it be distress.But you've already checked, Pavlina?Yes, yes, I did.And I'm going to go check again.Well, I'll come with you.Yeah.

Yeah, I'm like wondering maybe I need to send it out.That's a lot of poppies.I mean, the poppies really like this spot.I mean, they started kind of self -seeding.There's the red one I didn't put in there.No, and that's a different one.

That's like the wild one, isn't it?The ground was not covered by mulch or anything.They just started popping.I was like, oh, maybe I'll just throw some more seeds in there.So I just put it in the middle, but now it's completely taken over.

I love poppies.We'll see how it looks.

I was about to run upstairs to start work for the day when poor Philip arrived and he's in absolute agony.Not the kidney stone this time, it's his tooth.So we've managed to find an emergency dentist and I'm rushing him there now.And just for an update on the kidney stone, it is still well and truly lodged inside him and he has an operation mid -June to get rid of it.So he's walking around with a stent and now with a toothache.The poor man's falling apart.

I just received a text from Dan.

And things have come to a bit of a breaking point.

It turns out that he has irreversible pulpitis and that his root was heading for necrosis.It is from the tooth that was filled back in February, which we were told was a tiny little filling.So this dentist is saying he doesn't know exactly what happened there.Sometimes a tiny little filling can be hiding a bigger one or sometimes in the process tiny microbes can get in or there's a little bit of trauma from the process and it inflames the pulp in the tooth.And if that carries on with an infection, inflammation it starts to kill the nerve and it's irreversible once it started and he was at that stage so the whole route had to come out.

Anything else feeling a bit dodgy right now should we schedule in any other appointments?
