A very emotional parcel, massive summer clear out and I found the perfect dress for the wedding

Oh, happy Monday, everyone.It's already nearly 10 .30, actually.I've got a meeting in a few minutes, so I need to go put some red lipstick on so I look half decent.

That's what I always do.

I always put a bit of red lipstick and do nothing else, and it looks like I've put in a lot of effort just through having the red lipstick.But this morning, I've literally been doing spring cleaning.I think when I go to a boot sale and then I come back with loads of stuff, I always think to myself, right, dye.in order to go to these boot sales you need to then cleanse and have a clear out so that's what i'm doing this morning and that's basically what i think i'm going to do all of my monday so this monday is not going to be very exciting at all but i'm okay with that i'm not going to vlog too much today because i'm just going to get stuff done i am cleansing the house oh that's really cute there's loads Yeah, that's true That's what we dowith like these can be Christmas presents birthday presents So if we keep them all up in the in the loft You know if he's into that, but he might not be into that sort of thing if he's not that's fine But we're prepped anyway Yeah, exactly I genuinely have not stopped I have just been cleaning out every nook and cranny but look at this state of the place I have everywhere literally everywhere because I've been cleaning out cupboards I've been we cleared out shoes I've cleared out the shoe cupboards here we've got piles to get rid of we've got piles to go up in the loft I found this when we were cleaning out how sweet is this this was made for me and Chris by Ava and it's um like one that you can feel so like a sensory one for chris how adorable is that i absolutely love that it's so cool but yeah genuinely i have not stopped things everywhere so i'm continuing on it is currently it's 203 and um yeah i probably won't finish until five i just but i mean i'm really enjoying it i'm enjoying cleaning everything out feeling fresh again talk about spring clean this is summer clean i'm having a summer clear out and I love it.Of course, there's things that I just find on my merry way that I think, what the hell?

That's where Bowden sucks.I'm not joking you, like that is the, it happens to both Joe and I.He sucks so hard that we just like, he just draws blood to the surface.That is madness.Anyway, this is what I have done in here.I've kind of made this playroom for Bowie, because this was just absolute.

Mess in here, but what I've what we will end up doing we will end up making slightly different to this but for now until that happens I've done that and I feel very very good about it.I feel so much fresher really happy with how that's come out I've done so much today and I even managed to to make a frittata for dinner with a little side salad.And this is my yogurt, cumin, and I also put some tahini in there with some lime and lemon juice dressing.So yeah, that's the end of my day, to be honest with you.I'm absolutely shattered.And rightly so, I still haven't managed to, oh, I don't even think I told you guys, I found this.

in one of my books last night when I was just having a look.This is pistachio and courgette cake with avocado and lime dressing, and I definitely wanna make that this week because I have these that Tracy has given me from her garden and I wanna use them up.So I'm gonna make that cake, which sounds amazing.so bloody interesting i love pistachio i love courgette and i love avocado and lime so i mean that's a lot of vegetable in one cake right up my strata all right let's have some dinner good morning everyone it's actually very early um But we have both come in, Jo and I, to go to a chiropractor this morning.Jo always goes, but I decided that I would like to go as well, so we've brought Bowie along.Not to not to go to the chiropractor, but just to be with us Wouldn't leave him at home alone obviously, but Joe's doesn't take long.

So I'm just waiting outside and then When I go in Joe's gonna come and walk Bowie.He's fallen fast asleep beautiful beautiful day today and The first stop is both of us getting our necks clicked.That's nice.I think I'm just gonna sit nothing is actually quite open yet and because he's asleep i don't need to sort of keep moving the prams i'm just going to sit on this little bench and um and wait for joe but it's a really nice little town so once everything's opened when we finish in the chiropractor we might have a little walk and get a nice coffee and have a mooch about so yeah it's called linfield we're in a little town called linfield and it is very cuteOh my god, chiropractor was the best thing I've ever done.I feel already after one session, I feel so much lighter and freer in my back.

Basically, he said, postpartum, when you're pregnant, things can move around, like in your spine, and it just hasn't gone back to its normal state.shape I guess so we did some clicking and bloody hell it felt good genuinely feel so much better so I have booked in again for next week I wish I could go tomorrow but I can't because I should be having two a week but yeah genuinely that was incredible I picked up these two on the way love when he plays with his little hands he's getting so clever you're getting so clever Ah, yes.Amazing.I ordered some things off of Amazon last night.I actually ordered them at like 1 .30 when I couldn't sleep.I normally always sleep, but for some reason last night, after I fed him, I couldn't sleep again.

And I ordered these little teething rings for baby Bowie.You can put your milk in them, Joe, and you freeze it, and he like sucks on the milk.Put some of my milk in there, and then put this little holder on.He can have his own little ice cream.These are little milky ice creams.How cute's that?

Oh my god, they're so adorable.They've got little...Yeah.Yes, amazing.And there's one other thing I wanted to make today, and that is magnums.I want to make my own magnums, Joe, but healthy versions, of course.

Look.You put your sticks in.Those are sticks.I am actually going to make these before I go, the base of them.It's very, very easy, and I want them frozen by the time I get back, so I can just make the chocolate, cover them, and then we can have these for dessert tonight.Homemade ice cream for us, and homemade, extremely homemade ice cream for Bally, because I'm currently pumping so that I can put some breast milk in that little teething ring.

With the ice cream, what I need to do is use one ripe banana.We mash that up with, hang on, let me look at the recipe, three quarters of a cup of yogurt.In that goes.Two tablespoons of peanut butter.I'm just gonna use this teaspoon but do two good chunks.I'm gonna now put the butter into my ice cream molds.

I think it's gonna make three.I'm going to leave them for four hours in the freezer and then we'll do the coating later.Very, very quickly because I need to leave in literally two minutes time.I just quickly pumped some milk and I'm gonna put it into these little, oh my God, they're so cute.It really doesn't take much milk at all to fill them up.These little teething things that I'm gonna, and also because it's hot, this is perfect.

Oh my gosh, I made literally the perfect amount.

So cute, I just gave him one of my breast milk ice lollies.I don't say ice lollies guys, I say icy poles.I gave him one of my breast milk icy poles and he loved it.He was like, absolutely loved it.You loved my breast milk icy pole, didn't you?I loved my breast milk icy pole.

I tried it and it was really good.Now I'm gonna start dinner and I'm gonna make today a vegetable curry, because I've got so many vegetables left in the fridge and I want to use them all up.So I'm going to batch cook a big vegetable curry and the leftovers I'm going to freeze because what I want to try and do is every time I cook, cook more so that I can put some in the freezer for when I start strictly.Because when I start strictly, I'm getting home late.I'm not going to be able to cook food and I want to still be eating good nutritious meals.

Yes.I made him laugh the other day and oh my God, it was the best thing ever.I do this.It's like he talks to me in that language.Good boy.He is.

so unimpressed or very classic from rosie so glad you didn't cry though made me curry i made my curry in a hurry it didn't feel like it was in a bloody hurry because i was when you have a child you stop to do things and then you go again then you stop then you go but i have managed to make the curry um and it looks and tastes pretty good so we'll have that when joe's off his meeting now i wanted to finish off my ice creams so i'm gonna get out No, I'm not going to get them out the freezer yet.

I'm going to make my chocolate first, which is going to consist of 100 % dark chocolate, some coconut oil,and I'm going to chop some nuts up.

Put some coconut oil in there, and then we're going to melt the chocolate.

Oh my god, it's melting already.Continuously just stir.Alright.That's completely melted.Hopefully it's enough.Okay, now, these are my ice creams.

Look at that.Alright, so I'm going to Dip it in the chocolate.Oh my God, that looks insane.Then I'm gonna put it back on this little tray.Oh, back on the tray?I don't know.

I like it.Good morning everyone.It's Wednesday morning and we are sat in this new little playroom that I've organised and now we are just here.He's actually watching a programme about animals.It's not a cartoon, it is about a South African wildlife, it's actually a live wildlife I think Safari.It's actually quite cool.

But he loves trees.He really, really, really loves trees.So they're actually filming just the trees at the moment.And when they went from the animals to just the trees, he got so excited.He's like engrossed in it, honestly.He loves it.

Apparently it was on yesterday as well when Joe was with him.And Joe said he was loving it.But then the minute the lions and leopards come on, he got really scared and he started crying.So how cute's that?He was awake very early this morning, very early, but...when he wakes up early in the morning it's when he's like at his peak learning so i always wake up with him and we practicing our little tongue noises today and honestly he picked he's like a little copycat now he picks things up so quick so that just gets me so excited i'm like such a proud mom like you're so clever um but yeah today We are actually going to go for a little drive this morning in Bowie to visit Bea.

Bea is in Brighton and I've been in contact with her mum and so we are going to go and have a little catch up, a little coffee, well a cold drink probably today because it's so warm, cold drink and maybe a cake or something.Arrived, okay I'm gonna go and see B. Well, we're gonna go see B, me and Bowie.I'm so excited.Oh, I haven't seen her in so long Let's go.Here she is the lady of the day Say hello, it's B So B, you are at the reading rooms and I was telling her that I take all my special guests to the reading rooms Do you like it here?It's got a beautiful view of the ocean Got a nice juice Yeah, and she's been shopping in the lanes apparently.

And I hope she has enjoyed her holiday in Brighton.So glad I got to go and see her.Now I am currently at TK Maxx andLidl because I need to pick some things up from Lidl to make this cake that I want to make.And I just want to have a look in TK Maxx to see if there's any little boys suits for Bowdoin to wear to the wedding, which is in a couple of weeks time.So I'm just gonna have a quick look and see what I can see.

I'm back home now.I didn't, let me just clean my camera.Hang on.I didn't end up going into Lidl's because Pauly woke up and he was getting a bit restless and I was like, look, I have been in TK Maxx for a little longer than expected because I couldn't find anything for him, number one, there was just nothing.I think I said that in the shop.But number two, I just had a quick look at the dresses because I'm still not convinced.

I know a lot of you in the comments section of my last week's vlog said the M &S dress was beautiful and I agree, I love it.I don't know if it's right for the wedding.Found another dress.It was 200 pound down to 20 and I was like, look, I'm gonna quickly try this on.And when I was trying it on,Bally got very restless so I was like right took it off quickly paid for it and then got got out and didn't end up going to Aldi.

I did manage though to get him some new coat hangers because he's got far too many clothes and not enough hangers and I got myself a dress which I will show you in a moment when I go upstairs I've already put it upstairs but had a few things be delivered And I'm rather excited about it.Because one thing I think is what it is.Oh, what is this?I had no idea what this is.What is this?A big thank you.

So I need to feed my starters for my bread and I need to make a new one so i can make some bread tomorrow because i have not made sourdough in so long and i miss it perfect mix that up that's gonna be what i make my bread with tomorrow i'm gonna start the process in the morningGood morning, everyone.It is the next morning.I ended up washing my hair last night and doing red light on my face and literally that was it.Hang on, let me turn this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse off because it's a little annoying.I have just got out my starter for my bread making and look how much that's risen.

I'm gonna pop you over here and I'm gonna talk you through it.The whoopsie daisy hang on that's a nice little angle.Okay so what we need to do is spread the pistachios out on a baking tray and roast for 10 minutes.Now Just to remind you, this is pistachio courgette cake with avocado and lime frosting.What we need to do is put these into the processor, or the blender, and sort of whiz them up so it becomes almost like a flour, apparently.Pistachio flour style.

Give them a whiz.

Pistachio flour, it's awesome.

50 grams of ground almonds.Got to put the salt in the bloody bread again.Oh, why do I always do that?Annoying, I forgot the salt in the bread.and bring my mom and see what I can do.Okay, we're fine.

I've got to actually do my second fold.I've got to stop me, stop me cake baking and do me bread.Literally my whole morning has just been in the kitchen so far.So mum reckons it's fine to put the salt in basically now.So, so 10 grams of salt.She said just put dimples in it like that.

Sprinkle the salt all over.Seems like a lot of salt.And she said then just fold it in.So let's make that our first fold.Folding, by the way, you've got to do it four times.Oh my God, I can feel the salt by doing things in there.

Coconut yogurt.So we need 50 grams of the coconut yogurt.Did you know that we need 50 grams?It's true and true, it is what it is.Yes, we need the 50 grams.So I've just got some coconut collab here and we're just gonna put 50 grams or 60.

Whoops, lovely.And then apparently we blend.Really give it a good old boom, bloody me.Oh my God, oh my God, that tastes insane.What an interesting cake to make though.I'm gonna transfer this into a bowl.

My mum needs to make this.Now it says we've got to mix in 200 grams of grated courgette, which I have pre -grated over here to my right.Nearly.I think I'm a bang on with my proportion.Oh God, you're joking.The scales just went off, but I reckon that's 200 grams.

I reckon that is bang on.So then we need to add in lime zest, and that is zest of one lime.Zest of three limes, oh my god.Half teaspoon of bicarb soda.Two of baking powder.One, two.

All that in, look at this, look at all that going in.Look at mama's cake, everywhere.So for the frosting, this is an interesting one.150 grams of coconut yogurt.I don't quite have 150 grams, but I got coconut milk.One avocado in.

50 grams of the coconut oil.Beautiful.60 grams of natural syrup.Not quite natural syrup, but it's gonna have to do.It's Canadian syrup.I don't have natural syrup.

Zest of one lime and juice of two limes.That is our frosting for the top.Oh my God, look at it.It looks amazing.

We got back from Iceland.

I'm just having a little tidy up.This room in fact that I am tidying up right now is gonna change very soon.We're doing our bedroom up which is so exciting becauseare getting a new bed oh my god I'm so excited for this new bed I can't even tell you when you look at this mattress that we are sleeping on I genuinely can't even tell you how important it is we went to a showroom not long ago and we picked out a mattress and a new bed and even in that five minutes that i was laying on it because you kind of go in and you try all these different pillows out you try different mattresses for your back and all that kind of thing and it's like personalized to you my god it was the best ever so i have been dying to get it um and i think it's coming mid What are we now?Yeah, like the 20 -something of July.So that's very exciting.

So we need to get this room kind of done.At the moment, it's just bare white walls.It's a very large room, but we have not utilized the space well at all.And we've kind of always said that our room just feels not finished and not quite right.So we are gonna do a bedroom makeover.So that's exciting.

and i don't know if any of you took me seriously at all when i was saying all that because of the state of me all right we are back from our walk and of course what did mommy go do mommy went and bought some stuff from the charity shop didn't she yes she did so are we gonna try it on show everyone what we bought i'm also going to show you the dress that i'm thinking to wear to the wedding because i bought that earlier on in this vlog and i haven't shown you yet But let's start with what we bought at the Chazza.I need just like a little belt around the waist but I thought it was quite sweet.I'd wear it with a pair of heels or a pair of flats.It'd be nice with like a wedged platformy shoe.One that kind of goes up the leg a little bit.

Then I got this.I just thought that was fun and light and airy and we must remember as well we are going to Australia for Christmas so All these things can also be used in Australia when we go there.So yeah, I really liked, really liked this dress actually.I'm glad I got it.This one was one, I actually wasn't going to get it.And then I went, you know what?

I love the colors.Just do it.Just get it.It was what, four pounds?That's all I got.I got those two dresses, but I'm now going to show you the dress that I'm thinking of wearing to the wedding.

There's actually two options.One I got from ASOS, one I got from TK Maxx.Let me know your thoughts.Dress.it's so nice it's got such a 60s vibe to it got this from tk maxx um it's the brand whistles gorgeous is it i put it with these orange shoes but i don't know if i probably might wear a little pair of white shoes and maybe not so i don't know maybe the orange i don't know the orange islook kind of cute with it um what do we think to this dress isn't it so so cute and the fit is lovely i really blended with this room actually this room is all oranges and yellows yeah i think this is the one guys it's so retro so 60s and then we have this one Which I actually don't mind this one, if I'm honest with you.

Jo is not as much of a fan of this one.I don't know what it is, I really enjoy it.I like the skirt on it, I like the fact it goes kind of tight there and then it's got the bagginess in the top.Maybe it's not for the wedding, but do we like this or should I take it back?Actually, really, I like it.I think there's something.

I'm very cool about this.The only thing is I need to wear a bra with it.And you can, it's got an open back, so I'd probably have to either find a bra that has a really low back or do the back up slightly.But I think the whole point of it is that because it is so baggy there, couldn't wear it the other way around.It would just be weird.Let me try it actually.

Okay, definitely doesn't work that way.For sure, we can't wear it that way.But I do like it, so I think I'm gonna keep it and wear it for something else.It's a lot later on in the day.I haven't really vlogged that much today.Felt a little bit tired, so I haven't done too much on me Saturday.
