ACCC sues Grill'd over alleged greenwashing

Burger restaurant chain Grilled is being sued by the Consumer Watchdog over allegations of greenwashing.The ACCC alleges the company's Tree Day Tuesday campaign misled millions of Australians.

The promotion promised to donate a dollar for every burger sold to plant trees, but only 4 % of the sales translated to donations because of the detailed terms and conditions, which weren't made clear to customers.
