Another chaotic scramble at the Spanish border.Hundreds rushing from Morocco into the Spanish territory of Ceuta on the North African coast.Local authorities race to the scene as Spain struggles to halt a massive surge of undocumented migrants entering the European exclave.Officials estimate up to 60 ,000 people crossed into the Spanish territory in the past two days.They say around half have already returned to Morocco voluntarily.Thousands swam up to six kilometres around border fences, dozens drowned.

Many who made it celebrated their arrival on EU soil.Under intense pressure, Spain's Prime Minister visited Ceuta, vowing to deport everyone who crossed illegally.

What happened yesterday was an attack, a violation of Spain's territorial integrity.

The sudden influx follows a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling restricting the immediate return of migrants intercepted at sea.The crisis triggering alarm among other leaders in the region.

It's a concerning situation and I know people will see those scenes and want something to be done.
