And tonight the evidence is everywhere.Bullet holes in cars and apartment buildings.Witnesses left traumatized.

They left out the part where a regular guy with the carry permit was standing next to him firing alongside.See, a fellow walked into the middle of Memorial Drive in Cambridge and fired 60 rounds at random cars and apartment buildings.Two people got hit, both critical.The local news report ran for 10 minutes.A state police trooper engaged the gunman, took him down, in the broadcast.That's the version most people saw.

As the state police were arriving, the trooper who was arriving in his cruiser and a civilian, a former Marine, licensed to carry a firearm.Both that trooper and that civilian, rather than going in one direction, went towards the suspect with their weapons to try to end that situation.Both the civilian and the trooper fired their weapons and that suspect was struck multiple times in the extremities.

Authorities said a Massachusetts state police trooper and an armed civilian, described as a former Marine licensed to carry, confronted the suspect.Both the trooper and the civilian fired their weapons, striking Brown multiple times.An armed citizen in Massachusetts, one of the strictest gun states in the country, stood next to that trooper, helped end the threat, and the local broadcast pretended he wasn't there.You know why?Because if Massachusetts admits that private citizens with a permit helped a state trooper in an active shooter, their entire 20 -year war on carry permits collapses live on TV.The state's whole pitch to its residents is, don't carry.
