So today I will reveal two shocking new pieces of evidence.The suspect who is believed to have driven 300 miles from South Yorkshire to Devon to brutally kill Anne by bludgeoning her over the head is believed to have been caught researching Russian communist literature.As it becomes increasingly clear there was a political motive behind this killing.More so, there are worrying signs that the police may have got their timeline wrong.Their suggestion is that Anne was killed by lunchtime, which is already looking logistically difficult.Well, today I can reveal her WhatsApp remained active after 9pm on Wednesday night, so we will discuss what that might mean.

Meanwhile, Ant Middleton, Mike Graham, Tommy Robinson and many others are accusing the police of a cover -up, as Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice makes the astonishing claim that the MSM want other senior members of Nigel Farage's party unalived.

The Times want another reform politician to be dead before they will wake up and realise the impact of a politically motivated smear campaign.

Counter -terrorism police are now leading the investigation into the death of Anne Whittacombe after, quote, new evidence and information has come to light.

We now know counter -terrorism are leading this investigation.We know the suspect currently has been rearrested on suspicion of the commission preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

Some breaking news I need to share with viewers and listeners here at talk.This is a statement from counter -terrorism police.We are now hearing inside a So I stayed silent about this all weekend.

There is the evidence.You can see it there.That suggests that either the murder took place much later or the killer had taken over her phone.It also raises the horrifying possibility that she may have been held hostage for a long period of time.So I want to go into what we know for sure.This was Anne's last TV appearance on talk with Mark Dolan on Wednesday morning.

Anne, that if Nigel had his time again, he would have declared the £5 million, notwithstanding that it was a gift?

She was brilliant to the very end.But I'm not going to lie, I find it very haunting.knowing that that was probably the outfit in which Anne was murdered.She was then due to appear on Channel 5 with Matt Allwright and these were the messages that were exchanged between her and a producer starting at 12 14 p .m when we know she was still alive.So Anne's first message saying not yet looked a few seconds ago.

The producer replied hi they said they sent it to you but maybe it's to the wrong address.Ann replies, we spoke, sorry for the confusion.I can see now that what I refused today was extra time.Old age is a terrible thing.The producer, would you mind sending me the address you would like to receive it from?Haha, no problem.

Ann, it's the usual one that you always use.Producer, that's strange, they did send it to that address at 9 .20 this morning.I'll send it to you now, just send this address, let me know if you've got it.received panic over so you see she was brilliant a great person to communicate with always friendly always jovial always self -deprecating and always on it she never let people down she never would just not turn up that was not anne's way So that last communication was at 12 .19pm.That's critical, because the producer then sends a series of unanswered and increasingly panicked messages to Anne.She writes, also numerous unanswered calls.

Channel 5 alerted Anne's management, but they did not send someone to her house.That is a huge regret, because As her friend and colleague, I can tell you Anne just wouldn't miss an appointment.I know some people do just not show up to things.That wasn't Anne.So someone needed to be sent to the house at that moment.as Benjamin Butterworth posted.

This raises serious questions for Cloud9 management.Channel 5 says that it contacted her agent on Wednesday lunchtime after Ann was unreachable, but she was not discovered until Thursday lunchtime when a carer visited the property.Did her agent check on her after being warned?Our belief is not.I have spoken to sources close to the agent who says that he is devastated, which you would be.but we have to start asking some serious questions about this timeline and about whether it really makes sense.

Joe McCain says no, saying they reckon Anne was murdered around 12 .30pm.Speaking of the suspect, at 7 .51am he hadn't even set off.You're telling me he drove through morning rush hour traffic and did a four hour driveminute journey without stopping in 4 hours 30 minutes.A route presumably he didn't know.And this is the new Daily Telegraph bombshell reporting on this revealing that the suspect drove those 300 miles with a wooden stick.

CCTV footage seen by The Telegraph appears to show a young man leaving an address linked to the suspect.The video was taken at around 7am on Wednesday, the day on which it is thought the former Tory MP was murdered.Ms Whitacombe's remote Devonshire home is approximately a four -hour drive from where the suspect was arrested.Neighbours said they saw him putting some kind of wooden stick into the passenger side of a red car before driving off.Forensic officers were seen entering a terraced house in Rotherham on Sunday morning.a police cordon and several marked vehicles guarding the scene.

Courtney Foster, 25, who lives on the road in the town's Kimberworth Park suburb, said the young man who had been arrested rarely left the property.He rarely comes out of the house.His dad used to do everything for him, and I don't know what he did for a living.I think once his dad died, he went a bit loopy.She said the arrest was really loud, adding they took his dog as well.I think it was a labradoodle.

Other neighbours said the suspect had lived in the property for at least a year and may have had learning difficulties.Now this morning the Daily Mail backed up that reporting.adding the suspect being quizzed over Anne Whitacombe's murder is a 28 -year -old loner who is believed to have driven 270 miles to her Devon home armed with a foot -long pole.So they say a pole rather than a wooden stick.The man, who the Daily Mail is not naming, was arrested on suspicion of killing the formatory MP after a dozen armed officers descended on his council house in South Yorkshire on Saturday night.Meanwhile, though, the police made what they described as an decision.

not to release CCTV of the Ann Widdicombe murder suspect.Releasing such prematurely could compromise ongoing inquiries and may prejudice future investigative opportunities, they said.And we learned today that this suspect was not known to prevent this from Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in the House of Commons in the past hour.

Mr Speaker, on Wednesday, Anne Whittacombe was murdered in her home.The circumstances of her death are extremely distressing.Counter -terrorism policing have now taken the lead in the investigation.As Lawrence Taylor, the head of National Counterterrorism Policing, has said, and I quote, we now have new information and evidence that means counterterrorism policing is leading the investigation.We are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry to establish the motivation for this attack.The police now have a suspect in custody, a 28 -year -old white British man, and I can confirm to the House that this man was not known to prevent.

The police have cautioned against speculating about the case.That is the right thing to do for Anne's family and friends.It is also vital that the police are given the space they need to carry out their work.For now, what matters most is supporting the investigation so that we can see justice delivered for Anne and all who loved her.

Please stop saying you're doing what's best for Anne's family and friends, because I can tell you that what Anne's friends want is the truth.And what Anne's friends are concerned about is the fact that the truth might be being covered up.Indeed, all weekend, the MSM and the police conspired to shut down any debate about the fact that killing was most likely terror or politically motivated.Look at Channel 4 News.

Shortly after 9pm on Saturday the 11th of July, a 28 -year -old white British man was arrested and addressed in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on suspicion of the murder of Miss Whittacombe.

Assistant Chief Constable Matt Longman also stressed they're not looking for any other suspects and the attack was not politically motivated, but are still open -minded about the motive.

We're aware of online and public speculation, particularly with regards to motive.Again, I urge people not to share or engage with that speculation.It's unhelpful, it doesn't aid our investigation, and particularly it's distressing to the family and friends of Miss Whiddicombe.

Well I'm afraid to say the only misinformation So far in this story has come from the police, that police force, who you remember while we were live on Friday announced that they had just arrested a man who turned out to have nothing to do with it.

We can confirm that a 26 year old man was arrested at an address in Newton Abbott this afternoon on suspicion of the murder of Anne Widdicombe.The suspect who is a white British national remains in police custody whilst inquiries continue.

So as you know I was very upset during Friday's show.But I do just want to show you a little bit of what I said because there was a reason that I promised Anne that we will hold the police's feet to the fire on this.Absolutely do you justice.We will absolutely hold the police's feet to the fire on this.We will absolutely expose the leftists who are saying the most revolting things today.But we will also

Mike Graham, another close friend and colleague of Anne, raged, all pointing towards a police cover -up right now.Our friend Sophie Cacoran posted, I find it almost impossible to believe the murder of Anne Whitacombe wasn't politically motivated.Ben Graham echoed those same concerns, outlining, if this is the man responsible for murdering Ann Whitacombe, then one question stands out.

Why would someone allegedly travel around five hours to a remote property occupied by a former MP and Reform UK's immigration and justice spokesperson?That wouldn't appear to fit the profile of a random attack.If the police have the right suspect, the public deserve answers about the alleged motive and any connection between the suspect and Anne Whittacombe.Anne's Reform UK colleague Darren Grimes wrote, sorry I'm a little lost here.Why would someone from South Yorkshire end up at a specific property in Dartmoor 270 plus miles away by sheer coincidence?But they seem to tell us with absolute certainty that there's no political motivation.

don't want her death hijacked for political purposes, and were very uneasy about Nigel Farage attending the scene of the investigation.But Richard Tice's fiancee, Isabel Oakeshott, responded sensibly, writing, when a high profile political figure is murdered in their own home in rural England at lunchtime on a Wednesday, it is entirely natural and reasonable to wonder why.Of course, people are going to speculate about motive.When Dan Hodges of the Mail on Sunday added police again very clear no suggested Dan Whitacombe's death terror related or that it is politically motivated and that speculation on motive is unhelpful to their investigation, the great David Betts responded, there is news to be smothered and UK media is on it.Indeed, Hodges was doing his best to morally condemn politicians like Nigel Farage, who rightly had questions.He wrote, it is absolutely staggering that a senior political leader would openly speculate on an ongoing murder investigation in this way.

Adrian Hilton responded, I just watched Channel 4 News, and I showed you Channel 4 News earlier.They repeated the police line that the murder of Van Witteken was neither politically motivated nor an act of terrorism.With no suspect, how on earth do they know that?Is it some higher divination or speculation?Of course.But every MSM outlet all weekend long, I kept track of all of them.

The BBC, ITV, Sly News, just kept on hammering the fact that the murder wasn't terror or politically motivated.But given the announcement earlier today, no wonder a lot of folk have completely lost trust and know how to see through it all.Like Gareth Roberts of The Spectator, who wrote even 10 years ago, I'd have assumed, oh, they must have their good reasons.Now I immediately feel suspicious of their motives.Kevin O'Sullivan from Talk TV.Devon and Cornwall Police say there's no indication that the murder of Ann Whitaker was terrorism.

or politically motivated, but they remain open -minded.Translation, it was almost certainly politically motivated terrorism.And Tommy Robinson has weighed in too, pointing out within hours of Ann Whitacombe's murder investigation, police and legacy media were happy to report a white British man had been arrested.Now he's been released, they're all now refusing to issue descriptions of suspects or release any CCTV footage they have.WTF is going on here.But thank God there are some decent journalists, not many, but there are some in the MSM who are prepared to stick their neck out and speak for the British public, like my friend Alison Pearson of the Daily Telegraph, who added police must pursue their inquiries, but it is at the very least premature to say that there is nothing to suggest Anne's murder was politically motivated.

The public cannot be expected to believe anyone would drive from Yorkshire to Devon, randomly pick up a remote bungalow, bludgeon the elderly occupant to death before taking £50, two bottles of whiskey and then driving back to Yorkshire.This doesn't look much like a burglary gone wrong.The daytime break -in, leaving a car prominently parked in the drive, the lack of valuables stolen, the use of extreme violence.Why?Several questions need to be answered urgently.Have police thoroughly checked the arrested man's emails, social media and phone messages?

Was the guy known to police?If so, what for?Are there any of Anne's views the suspect was offended by or was involved in activism against?Is he a Devon man and was he known to Anne?Why was a counter -terror unit used in the raid on the house where they found the suspect?In the case of the tragic murder of MP Jo Cox, the police quickly revealed her killer was a white far -right extremist.

The appalling murder of Anne Whitacombe deserves exactly the same transparency.Victims of different political beliefs must not receive two -tier treatment.This is a heinous crime that has shocked millions of us.Anne was a beloved national treasure.We need a full picture of what happened to her.and why not bland or evasive police assurances.

and Reform UK are actually doing the police's work at the moment.As it's been revealed, they are investigating abusive emails and threats sent to Anne.The Sunday Times reported that Nigel Farage claimed he had twice spoken to the chief constable of Devon and Cornwall and said Reform had been analysing abusive emails and threats to determine whether there was a link to her death.He said, we will do anything we can to support the police.For example, I've had our security teams going through all of our emails to pick out our ones that were sent directly to Anne or were abusive about Anne.But despite trying to help track down Anne's killer, and actually grieving himself, Farage has been attacked all weekend long for stating facts that the murder was premeditated.

One theory during the rounds, and I discussed this with the prime minister yesterday, is that it was a burglary that went wrong.But car went onto the drive at approximately 12 .25, 12 .30.on Wednesday.She'd done one interview in the morning, funny enough, talking about Clacton and the fact she was going to come and support me.And she was due to do another one at one o 'clock.So if you were a burglar, would you literally drive your car onto someone's drive?

You wouldn't.From what I can see of it, from what I can make out, this was premeditated murder.Whether it was politically motivated, whether it was somebody with a grudge, I don't think it pays at this moment in time to speculate.But what I do think we can say, and I think How extraordinary, of course, that David Amos was such a very, very close friend of Anne's.Anne, indeed, godmother.to David Amos's daughter.

She really did love this place, and it seems extraordinary on a beautiful day like this to think of the not only untimely, but violent, barbaric manner of her death.She was a remarkable woman.individual.Redoubtable, I think the word was invented for her.Opponents knew exactly what to expect from her and at times I have to say colleagues did feel the wrath of her tongue.She was the fiercest proponent of free speech I think I've ever met.

You know, we're not going to ban it for children.Look at that screed of the most revolting negative hatred towards a woman who has just been murdered, as we now know, assassinated in a likely terror attack.But I think one of the moments that upset people so much was seeing Adam Bolton, who is a truly reprehensible and repulsive man, I will never forget, and I'm going to show you actually what he said shortly, when he called for the entire GB News channel to be shut down by the British government because I titted when Lawrence Fox said he didn't want to shag a particular left -wing activist.That's his view.This is a man totally behind cancel culture.And he disgusted the nation with his obituary to Anne Widdicombe, where he referred to her as a spinster and an old maid.

But she was very much a spinster.I mean, by the end, I think you'd probably describe her as an old maid.Reportedly, she claimed that she was a virgin.She had a relationship at university.She went to Oxford University, into an all -women's college, of course, where people like Edwina Currie knew her as well.She had a chaste but doomed relationship with a man who's now a banker.

And really, from that point on, she was not interested in having personal relationships.and very much dedicated herself to her activities.

Now of course that interview took place on Sly News, the reprehensible hard left channel which over the past week has been targeting Nigel Farage's daughter.And it was left to the leader of the Kent County Council, Lyndon Kim Karen of Reform UK, to call out those deeply disrespectful remarks live on Sly.Watch what happened.

So just before I do that I was just saying about the tributes that have been pouring out today the only one that sort of hasn't really hit the mark very well I thought was Adam Bolton on your own channel of Sky News.I thought he was extremely disrespectful in a time when people are feeling very sad and grieving and I do wonder would he have made his disrespectful and I thought quite sexist remarks about the life of Ann Widdicombe you know referring to the status of her virginity for example, in calling her an old maid and referring to deeply personal things about her private life.I do wonder if Adam Bolton would have spoken about a recently deceased male politician in the same way, and I don't think he would.She doesn't deserve that, her memory doesn't deserve that, and I do wonder if Adam Bolton will be apologising or if Sky News will be holding him to account in some way.

Her untimely death is a horrible thing.My mistaken view is that in the context of Rowley news coverage, I was being asked to contribute as an obituarist who has known her and interacted with her since the 1980s.This approach was premature.At no point was I expressing my personal feelings about her.That's not what I do.I was discussing her life in the round based on the record of known facts and what she has said about herself, along with some recollections of our personal interactions.

My choice of words on the spur of the moment was clumsy.I did not intend to offend, though obviously I did.And I have to be honest, patriotic women Not happy.Alison Pearson, apology not accepted.Nothing to do with facts.You called that great woman just slaughtered an old man, an old maid, a virgin, a spinster.

Language which gave away your horrible misogyny.You would never have described a 78 -year -old man as bachelor, let alone virgin.It was unforgivable, as Anne would have said, appalling.Nadine Dorries of Reform UK, your apology is about you.Desperate not to be cancelled by Sly News and Times Radio for your inhumane, insensitive, and depraved misogynistic commentary.You fear becoming irrelevant and will say anything in order to stop that happening.

You are a fake and we see you.You have lowered the standards not only of all broadcasters and journalism everywhere, but of what is deemed acceptable narrative in a civil society when someone dies.No channel should ever use you again, focusing on her supposedlyas if that was what defined her.You are a sick man.And there was fury from both the left and the right, with June Slater raging about this.

And then came Adam Bolton.He was in conversation on Sky News and instead of finding better ways to allude to the things he decided he wanted to allude to, which was Anne's romantic and sexual history or her marital status or, you know, whether she'd ever married and that kind of thing, instead he chose coarse ways and very personal waysof describing, he spoke about her being a virgin, chaste, talked about her being a spinster, an old maid.And I thought, you grotesque.I mean, I had a few unpleasant things to say about him afterwards, and I thought, you grotesque, sexist, misogynist, disrespectful.I just, honestly, I was swearing my head off all the time.

And I was so appalled because what age, shape, size, marital status does a woman have to be before she gets some respect around here?What does she have to do in her life before somebody will speak respectfully of her within an hour of her dying?And clearly, from Adam Bolton, the answer is nothing.There's nothing she can do to avoid this kind of misogyny.And you and I, Vanessa, we both know, both as women, but as also women who are in the public, in our job, we get all kinds of stuff like that.that all the time.

I hate it, but it's all in the back and forth robust yada yada of media.But when a person dies, is there not one moment of good grace?

I just couldn't help thinking what Cody Hopkins said to me after my cancellation, you know, if you stand by the river long enough, you're going to see the bodies of your enemies.And look, That is the case with Adam Bolton.I know Anne would have no problem with me saying this because Anne was my biggest champion after the cancellation from GB News.She wrote publicly about the horror of the way that I was cancelled with no form of due process whatsoever by both GB News and the Daily Mail.And yet Adam Bolton actually went on the British Bashing Corporation's news night, the night I was suspended from GB News, not because of anything I'd said.Like, It was all what Lawrence Fox said and the fact that I hadn't told him off.

Well, did the host on Sly News tell off Adam Bolton?No.Does anyone think they should lose their job?Of course not.But Adam Bolton actually went on Newsnight and said, not only should I be destroyed forever, because I laughed along at Lawrence Fox, not only should I be destroyed forever, but GB News, the entire GB News, should be shut down as a channel and taken off air by the off -communists.

I wouldn't have watched it until it was drawn attention to, but I wasn't surprised.Nonetheless, I did ask myself why these two people were on a purportedly serious news station at all, bearing in mind that Mr. Wootten, in other areas, is currently suspended from the Mail, he's under investigation at The Sun as well for his previous behaviour.

Allegations that he denies, I should say.

Denies, and as far as Lawrence Fox is concerned.I think he now has a long record of saying pretty extreme things and in fact I was at a news meeting at another broadcaster today and was saying well you know would you still put Lawrence Fox on television and the conclusion was you probably wouldn't.Both of them, I think, have damaged themselves by doing this.And therefore, we say, well, why was GB News doing it?And I have to say, I think the complaints have piled up against GB News.I think there is a delicate and important broadcast ecology in this country.

I think GB News is trying to bust that ecology.And frankly, what Ofcom should do is shut it down, like it shut down RT.Do you agree?

So I understand my other people won't, but I think Anne would have.Breaking today, shocking new developments about Henry Novak's final moments, which will make you despair, completely despair, because I am determined on this show not to forget this young man, this incredible 19 -year -old lad from Essex with his whole life ahead of him, who was brutally murdered by Vikram Digwa in an anti -white slaughtering, I believe aided and abetted by the police.British police, which is a horrible thing to say.And after an in -depth investigation by the Times newspaper, we have harrowing new information about the final moments of Henry's life, which means he didn't only repeat multiple times that he was dying and that he couldn't breathe, but he also pleaded, and this is what will break your heart, I'm not a racist.You'll remember this is part of the body cam footage which was released after Digwa's trial.

But the Times reporting has also revealed that Henry Novak pleaded with his killer, I'm not a racist, in his final moments before dying.This is according to newly released court documents, so it is absolutely factual stuff.Transcripts of the two -week trial obtained by the Sunday Times shed light on previously unreported evidence, including the 18 -year -old's final moments and what happened in the hours after DeGua's arrest.More than 600 pages of evidence, including witness accounts and DeGua's cross -examination, revealed the killer's conversation with his brother that was secretly recorded by police, how residents heard carnal, animalistic shouting as the attack unfolded, and, this is new, how Novak's former girlfriend rejected claims that he was racist.The woman, who is of Jamaican and Irish descent, told the court her ethnicity had never been an issue in their relationship, adding, in fact, Henry was very proud of my heritage.Nicholas Lobenberg Casey, who prosecuted Digua, told the jury that even as Henry is dying, he said, I'm not a racist.

That was heard by Andrew Mortimer, One of the witnesses that was read to you, as he lay dying, Henry denied that he was the attacker.The prosecutor also told the court that D 'Quoise's brother, Gouprit, called 999 at the scene and claimed, he's verbally attacked my brother racially, to which Novak can be heard pleading in the background.Remember, he's been stabbed at this point.He is dying.No, I didn't.After the police had arrived, and Novak

witness, Angus Kemp, went outside to give officers his contact details.Here, he was approached by a middle -aged man and a woman, who appeared to be Degas' parents based on his descriptions, who asked Kemp whether he saw what took place.Kemp also saw Degas' mother, who, remember, is a completely free woman at this stage, try to stop a police officer from arresting her son.I saw the middle -aged woman very distressed and going towards this male and a female officer trying to stop her and saying that she can't and discouraging her from going towards the young male, Kemp said.Then it gets more interesting.We have also learned that one of the only reasons that we seem to have got this confession is because the police actually bugged the van of the two brothers.

And this is when they were being transported to court the next day.The court heard that Gupreet asked his brother, what did you do?Did you do anything?Digwa replied, yes, and proceeded to point to the various parts of his body where he had stabbed Novak.This account differed from that Digwa had given police in his written statement.Gupreet, who I remind you, as it stands, is a free man walking the streets, told him, you should have hit him or beaten him up before asking, why did you use the kirpan?

Digwa replied, I am a fool.I'm an idiot.Degua, his brother and their father Mogha Singh, appeared in court last week charged with multiple weapons offences.Degua pleaded not guilty to seven counts of possessing an offensive weapon at the family home.The alleged weapons are three machetes, 37 swords, three ninja swords, two flicked knives or gravity weapons.8 knuckle dusters, an extendable baton and a manrique gusari.

The police are not on the side of British people.F the police.And Christine and Neil Hamilton.Christine, of course, that's not something that I want to advocate for.But unfortunately, the Novak case is so chilling on so many levels.And the fact that in his dying breath, Christine, he was not only trying to inform the police officers that he couldn't breathe, clearly the most important thing.

This culture means he was also attempting to say to them, I'm not racist.And we know he wasn't a racist, Christine.I mean, he had an Irish Jamaican girlfriend.Of course he wasn't a racist.But it's the fact that this society means that it was so important for him to survive.But it was also so important for him to tell the police he wasn't racist.

I just think it's a heartbreaking new dimension of this case that we didn't previously know.

It is.And actually, I mean, it's very distressing to see that video footage again, thinking what his last hours, what his last minutes were like.On a cheerful note, I can only hope that heAnne Whittacombe have already met up and they'll be comparing notes, and I'm sure they'll get on like a house on fire.

Yeah, very good point.I mean, Neil, look, this, well, both cases have broken my heart, actually, and both cases break my heart about modern Britain and about the failure of the police scene.But the reason I wanted to talk about Henry Novak today, Neil, is I worry that we're moving on.I worry that we're forgetting this case, and I think it needs to be a seminal case.You know, if you look at the left, they never shut up about George Floyd, did they?I mean, they still talk about George Floyd.

George Floyd, who, of course, shouldn't have been killed, Neil, but, you know, he was a drug guy.You know, like, Henry Novak was an absolute upstanding member of society who was going to go on and live a good life.And I'm just determined to keep talking about him, Neil.But what is your reaction to the fact that these newly unearthed court documents show that he was so determined not to be seen as a racist?

Obviously, it completely undermines the lefty narrative that they would like to have been able to advocate.But isn't it surprising that nobody has thought of setting up a White Lives Matter movement so we can all take the knee in memory of Henry Novak?We can ask ourselves, why is it that they can't be even -handed about this?Actually, all lives matter, don't they?But at the time when the BLM fraud organization was set up and was all through the headlines around the world, nobody could dare make the point that all lives matter and as a result of course the victim culture that we've created has actually been overwhelmingly anti -white and so the left actually I think collectively bear responsibility for the murder of Henry Novak and for many others like him and you know the publichave just got to wise up and rise up.

so that we get proper policing back to this country, not paralysed by political correctness and DEI, that we get rid of the whole cohort of chief constables and their running dogs, as Maoists would like to call them underneath them, and that we get proper policing back, just like we used to have when we were young.And there were no issues of this kind, and the police did a proper job, and crime was controlled.Knife crime in London today is completely out of control.And that's what we're talking about here.What are the police doing and the government doing to restrict the availability of weapons of this kind?All we've had is performative actions.

The reality of life on the streets is that nothing has changed.And until we get a proper government in this country that's prepared to be really serious about controlling crime and punishing criminals, to in an effective way, then we're not going to make any progress in this.So I hope that out of Henry Novak's death, distressing as it was in those extremely affecting videos that we all have seen, but many others who've suffered in much the same way as him, not with the police involvement of the Novak case, but nevertheless lost their lives in similar ways, that they will be avenged by bringing into sharp focus what needs to be done to try to stop this happening with the regularity that it does at the moment.And, you know, things can only get worse at the moment because we're still not taking these the sociological changes that have taken place in our society seriously enough.We've got to change the wholemindset which applies to crime and not see it through the prism of racism or anti -racism.

Because what we've got to do is restore equality before the law, which goes back to Magna Carta 1215.

So true.So true.I mean, we do.But Christine, what do we do?Because, look, I find this one with the police very difficult, because I You know, I spent my whole life believing in the police.And I come from a family with a lot of police officers, actually.

And some people know, some people won't know.My uncle in New Zealand, Derek Wooten, a great man, was actually killed in the line of duty as a police officer.We marked the anniversary over the weekend.It was on the 11th of July, 2008.It was an incident that forever changed the Wooten family.He was laying road spikes, trying to stop a terrible, terrible man, a very bad criminal, who had taken a woman hostage.

And he was desperately trying to lay the road spikes in order to stop the car.And the car just ran through him, I mean, attempted to kill him, and he died on the scene, in the line of duty.And so I have huge sympathy for individual police officers who are trying to do the right thing.And it so goes against my grain, really, to see those types of comments from Lawrence Fox.Do you know what I mean?If the police don't care, because I know that so many individual police officers are absolutely incredible.

But Christine, there is a problem.The police have lost trust.And I don't even really feel like they understand it.I don't even really feel like they're trying to.win it back.

I completely agree with you.And, you know, when, as Neil said, when we were growing up, the police were, all police were an incredible figure of respect.I mean, the local Bobby was one of the senior members of community.And it's tragic the way they've lost our respect.And I actually bridled as well at Lawrence Fox's remarks, F the police.I mean, no, certain police, yes, but not the police as a whole.

It's their leaders who've gone astray, isn't it?Although having said that, it was not the police leaders, it was people on the street who behaved that way with Henry Novak.So there are bad eggs in every organisation and of course people make mistakes but it's the worst thing in the world just about nowadays to be called a racist.it's thrown about and everybody's terrified of being called a racist.I mean that Henry Novak thing was an example of that and so people sort of bend over backwards to make sure that they're not regarded as a racist.It used to be homophobia was a terrible thing to be, which of course it was, but it's now been overtaken and racist is the thing and it's bandied about by certain people.

Again, I'm sorry, I've forgotten the question.It's all about the police.

The police have to try and win us back, though, at the same time.

They have to start handling cases properly.If they had handled the Henry Novak situation properly, we wouldn't...And they didn't.And they didn't.And they seem to be creating another little car crash with the Anne Whittacombe situation by maybe deliberately giving us false information.I don't know what they're doing.

They've just got to, they've got to get on with the job.I think one thing...

Well, as far as I'm aware, they ought to have a sort of graduate entry for the police.As far as I'm aware,I may be wrong, Neil's shaking his head, they do.There's nothing to do with that.

It's the graduate entry.That's the cause of the problem.

But Neil, isn't the big issue though, that the police are always thinking about trying to manage community cohesion rather than just telling us the truth.Like stop worrying about, oh, there might be riots if you tell us this, because actually your constant lies are causing a much, much bigger breakdown in trust in this society.

The problem is not the ordinary copper on the street or in the squad car, more likely.You hardly ever see them on the streets anymore.The problem is entirely top down in the police because the chief constables and those who aspire to become chief constables or senior police officers have an eye on the career ladder and to to go up the career ladder you have to observe all the pieties of political correctness which are instilled in the the police through the college of policing which is riddled with all this nonsense and actually it's not nonsense it's worse than that because it's positively counterproductive and dangerous and damaging to our country and it's actually what has resulted in a police force that huge quantities millions of people around the country no longer trust.And although I disapprove of Lawrence Fox's language in those tweets, one can see the anger, which I believe is actually justified.And it should have been expressed in perhaps more moderate terms or at least more acceptable terms.But nevertheless, I think he's on something here, which we really need to take seriously.

Seriously, until we get a police force that is 100 % committed to equal justice before the law and the pursuit of criminals, whatever their ethnicity, with equal vigor, we are not going to sort these problems out.And because the criminal classes have beenindulged because of their skin colour over the recent decades, that is why we've got to the parlous state that we're in now.The Labour Party, the Lib Dems and all the other leftist outfits, and even the Conservative Party, of course, was ultimately under David Cameron, infused by this nonsense.Until we get away from all that, The last 30, 40, 50 years of leftist drivel which has consumed our police and have ruined what used to be one of the best police forces in the world, we're not going to begin to sort the problem out.We're not going to get it under this government, even with Shabana Mahmood and her soundbites from the Home Office.

What we need is to sweep away the political establishment and start again with a political party, political movements, which really want to get to the heart of the problem and restore the greatness to our country, which sadly, in the course of our lifetimes, we've lost and we've watched it leech away.Very good point.Thank you so much.
