It beggars belief why this guy did not play in that semi -final.Not one minute.When you saw the quality of Bukaya Saka, unbelievable.I still can't get over it.Eze was excellent in the game as well.Had a great assist in the game.

Showed the quality when, you know, Tukul says it's not in our DNA when you've got a player of his ability on the pitch.And Declan Rice, captain in the team, was absolutely brilliant.He was everywhere.He scored a wonderful goal.He had an assist.He broke up countless attacks.

I mean, he was fantastic.Now all of those players, rest them, especially Rice.I don't want to see Rice for at least a month.We don't want to see Saka, because what we can see if Saka returns back fully fit, how good is he going to be?So it was great to see our Arsenal players performing then.And now wishing the best of luck to our other Arsenal players.

Of course, Mika Mourinho, Zubamendi, Rea, they go for the World Cup final tonight.Spain.versus Argentina.It's going to be an epic game.Yamal versus Messi.Can't wait for it.

But listen, good luck to the Arsenal players today.Hopefully they can bring it home.Mikel Arteta apparently said to all the Arsenal players, I want one set of you guys to bring home the World Cup.And I'm sure it's going to happen.bring it home he'll be overjoyed.One thing he won't be overjoyed about though is what happened with Morgan Rodgers.

I spoke about it yesterday in a breaking news that Morgan Rodgers is not coming to Arsenal.Remember on yesterday's show I was saying how the deal was pretty close and that was what all the reports were saying.Even privately I've been told that that this is going to be the big one that Arsenal get done.They were very confident of doing this deal.He was the number one target.Make no mistake about it.

He was the number one target.But the deal was hijacked by Chelsea.Morgan Rodgers going to Chelsea, broken by David Ornstein yesterday.He said that he could be doing his medical as early as tomorrow, on Monday.for a record -breaking £117m move.Now, what went wrong with this deal?

I noticed that Hand of Arsenal, a very respected ITK, was saying that Arsenal were dithering on it.There's many other reports that are saying that Arsenal simply were refusing to pay the extortionate valuation that Villa put on Morgan Rodgers.Remember they already came out and said $130 million.It's turned out $117 million is going to do it.But that's a new record for an English player.Remember, Elliot Anderson went for $116 million.

The $117 million tops that.And Chelsea are paying it.And the reports are that Arsenal refused to pay that.They said, we are not paying that much.It is way, way above his valuation.I mean, the market's inflated right now.

We've only got a look at some of the signings that we've seen this summer.As I said, that's a world record $170 million.Elliot Anderson $116 million.Tenali went from Newcastle to Spurs for $110 million.Fernandes, one good season at West Ham, who got relegated, $85 million.The market's gone mad, but it's the market.

You want to buy a great house in an area where prices are expensive, that's what it is.So Arsenal have refused to pay that, but they've missed out.And another target missed out on.be quite embarrassing.Even though, you know, Andrea Boettcher and Arteta might say, well, we're not paying over the odds, but that's two players now.Jeremy Monga, remember, we refused to pay the 11 million that he then ended up going to Man City for.

And now this one, Morgan Rodgers.He's not got off to a great start so far this summer transfer window for Arsenal.You know, missing out on targets despite the fact that we're top of the league.And I'd love to hear from you guys.Are you in agreement that Don't pay £170 million.Don't pay over the odds.

These are the targets.I mean, listen, remember, famously, Chelsea blew us out of the water for Makaya Mudrik.We went for Trossard, added that turnout.Trossard turnouts, we had a way better signing for just about £27 million.They paid £100 million for Mudrik, and it's been an absolute disaster.So, where did Arsenal go from here?

What are the alternatives?Who do they bring in now instead?Fabrizio Romano saying yesterday that Arsenal are putting some calls to the agents and representatives of Yann Diomande.Now, of course, Diomande of RB Leipzig, 19, absolutely exciting player, had a great World Cup for the Ivory Coast, had a great season last year for RB Leipzig.Again, if, and it's a big if, this one did happen, you're talking over £100 million for this too.especially when these clubs are looking at what Morgan Rodgers have gone for.

But even though they put in these calls, he didn't really talk about what's happened since.You know, is Diamand interested in Arsenal?This would have to be another hijack because he's set to go to PSG.He was at one stage heading to Liverpool, but PSG's come in and have said to hijack that deal.And it's more than likely that he's going to go to PSG.So probably an unlikely deal would be perfect for Arsenal.

Can play on both wings, but looks more likely that he's going to end up at PSG.If he goes to PSG, then what happens to Bradley Barcola?Barcola who scored yesterday for France.You could see when he came on for France.He is absolutely lightning quick, Barcola.A very good player.

Still got a high ceiling.Sometimes people say, you know, he could be a bit more clinical in his play.He looks like he's going to be on the move this summer.Arsenal have been interested in him before.Arsenal could reignite this interest, of course.You know, Liverpool are another team that are very, very interested in signing him.

But he is likely to move on this summer.Could he be the player that Arsenal bring in instead of Morgan Rodgers?They've been very interested in him.So this is one that you definitely can't rule out.But again, £100m plus to get Bradley Barcola away from PSG.These teams are not idiots.

They see the market and they see the circumstances that Arsenal are in.Although Arsenal, Under Berto might just dig in his heels and say, yeah, we've got our valuation, you've seen it with other players, we're not going above that.Let's see.Another player is Keenan Yildiz.Now again, this is a player that Mikel Arteta has admired now for years.couple of seasons.

Still only 20.Plays for Juventus.We've been told in the past that his valuations, you know, Juventus is, say, £100 million.Forget it.Well, in the current market, that might not be a bad price.He's a super talented player.

Natural left winger.Juventus don't want to sell him.He's a jewel in the crown for Juventus.He's the player that they build a team around.So they won't want to sell him.unless a crazy offer comes in for him.

Could £100 million be a crazy offer?It'd be the perfect signing for Arsenal, in my opinion, if Arsenal could get a deal for Keane and Yieldy's done.But it's a bit of a long shot, just because, you know, of the price.Although there are a lot of reports out today that Arsenal are making contact with his representatives and Juventus to try and understand, is there a possibility of a Keane and Yieldy's?Interesting one to watch.And Junior Krupi.

We'll come back into the conversation.Get a ball probably, even though Bournemouth are adamant that they don't want to sell him, and I can understand why, but look at what a season he had last year.Breakout season for him.If we're looking for players that are Premier League ready, he's played a season in the Premier League and he's been very successful, even though he didn't start week in, week out, but what an impact he had.Some of the goals he scored can operate as a second striker, can also play on the left.I'd say very similar to the sort of how Trossard plays.

You know, so not an out -and -out left winger, but he could operate on the left and come inside and score goals.And that might be appealing to Arsenal.Would be expensive again.I mean, they're going to be looking at what's happening.And Bournemouth are going to say, well, listen, we don't want to sell him anyway, but if we do, crazy prices.But could he be a good alternative to Morgan Rodgers?

Because, you know, he had a great season and he's only 19.So Arsenal may go and have a look at him again.Ben Jacobs, one of the journalists, saying that that's one of the players that Arsenal are taking a little look at at the moment.Interesting one to watch, Junior Krupi.So listen, there's a lot of alternatives out there.It's not the end of the world that Arsenal have not got Morgan Rodgers, even though he was the number one target, even though, listen, I like Morgan Rodgers.

I think it would have been a good sign -in.£170 million, we know he's crazy.But the market is the market.It's an expensive market right now.And whoever Arsenal get in that position is going to cost them a lot of money.Anyway, those are the rumors for today.
