At least 7 explosions and low-flying aircraft are heard in Venezuela's Caracas

We begin with breaking news at 11 o'clock. There are explosions happening right now in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Video going viral on social media. They're showing powerful explosions happening in a number of places in the sprawling capital city and more video showing what appears to be Chinook and Apache attack helicopters flying across the city as these explosions continue. Residents of the city also posting about the sound of fighter jets flying over the city as well. Now the Pentagon has moved an armada of Navy ships including the Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier and all of its support ships into the Caribbean Sea just off the coast of Venezuela.

But there has been no official word from the White House or the Pentagon of a U.S. military operation targeting sites in Venezuela tonight. But it is clear from the videos that we have seen that some type of military operation is now underway. Now for several months, the U.S. military has been attacking what it claims are drug-running boats leaving from Venezuelan shores. The death toll in those attacks estimated to be more than a hundred people and we will continue to
