Hello everyone, welcome back.I hope your day is starting off just fantastic.Just when you thought you could enjoy your summer holidays like I am, or enjoy watching Canada in the World Cup.Our politicians have thrown us a curveball.Could there be an election coming soon? The headline here on June 23rd, by -election clock ticking as MPs officially resign.

0:21

How does it impact the Liberal majority?Surprise, surprise, there are six MPs planning to step down and resign over the summer and not sit when the House of Commons opens again in the fall. This leaves the Liberals in a precarious situation because they have a very slim majority. And all indications are that yes, there will be by -elections for sure, some possibly as early as this summer, and potentially a full -blown national election. The Conservatives are preparing for just that, flooding the zone with a whole bunch of new AI -generated ads that look like campaign ads to me.Now let's go through some of the numbers and talk about what the Liberal strategy might be and what the Conservative strategy is and how they inadvertently through their AI -generated ads have humiliated themselves again.

1:08

Six MPs say they intend to resign over the summer. While voters in those ridings wait to choose replacements, party standings in the House of Commons will shift ever so slightly. Two MPs officially resigned on Friday, just a day after the House of Commons rose for the summer recess.Liberal Jonathan Wilkinson will be heading off to Brussels to fill a role of Canadian ambassador to the European Union. And Simon -Pierre -Savart Tremblay, formerly of the Bloc Quebecois, is set to run provincially this fall with the Parti Quebecois. Two other Liberal MPs have also indicated that they will be resigning this summer.

1:45

Former Liberal Cabinet Minister Stephen Gilboe and Nathaniel Erickson -Smith are expected to step down, though neither have given specific dates. Now this is one of the issues of running a government with a thin majority. There's always turnover in the seats.and people resigning. But given all those MPs that have indicated they will leave, this will be the makeup of the House when it returns in the fall.Expected House of Commons seats this September, after all the resignations, the Liberals would sit at 170.

2:15

Remember, 172 is required for a majority. The rest of the Opposition Party seats would add up to 166.The distribution of the vacancies means the Liberals will still have more votes in the House of Commons, but that's a very precarious situation because you never know, there could be more vacant seats coming up for various reasons. So what do the Liberals do?Obviously, they're going to have to call by -elections to try and fill those seats, and there's different strategies they could use.The government could hypothetically call by -elections for only two of the officially vacant seats as soon as possible to get them over with during the summer.

2:52

Such was the case when former Conservative MP Damien Couric vacated his seat to open up a by -election for Conservative leader Pierre Poliav last year.Couric officially left in June, the vote took place in August and Poliav was back in the House on the first day of the fall sitting. So Mark Carney fast -tracked a by -election last June as a favour to Pierre Poliav so that he could get back into the House. But I assure you, if the Liberals call two quick by -elections now in safe seats to get them back up to 172, the Conservatives will call foul and say, this has never happened before. The Liberals are trying to steal a majority.Basically, the way I see it, there are two possibilities.

3:33

The Liberals will wait and call by -elections on all six seats sometime in the fall. They will govern with that slim majority until the fall. And they should win enough to get them the slim majority again. And they're constantly just trying to keep ahead of the competition. That's option number one.And it will keep them alive for a little while longer.

3:54

but there's always vacancies, and there's always changing news and changing developments, and we know what the trajectory is now.Increasing inflation, higher cost of living, possibility of recession in the future, all All thanks to the bombastic buffoon running the United States down south.Just catastrophically stupid policies implemented by the United States. The latest, of course, is this war on Iran, which has caused an oil shock.prices to increase, we're all going to feel the pain of higher prices and potentially a full -blown recession in the future, especially if the U .S.

4:30

goes into recession.

4:31

So the economic outlook in the near future is poor.So I would say option one is very risky for the governing Liberals. There is the strategy now to go to the electorate and say, hey, we need a full mandate now.We need a larger mandate. We're going to have a full -blown national election this fall.We can't continue to govern with such a slim majority.

4:51

with the Conservatives against everything we want to do, spewing doom and gloom and criticizing everything that we want to do.We have to go to the people and say, Make your choice now because we're going to face some hardships in the future. We have the negotiations with the Americans on Kuzma, blah, blah, blah.Make the case that we need to have an election now so the Canadian people can choose the path that they want to pursue.I'm just talking strategy here.I'm not sure if this will happen, but that would be a fairly smart strategy because It's always better to have an election when you're sure that you can win, rather than wait in the future where maybe you're not sure that you can win.

5:29

And based on the average of all the latest polling taken this June from various polling companies, this would be the projected outcome if an election were to be called right away. The Liberals projected to win 196 seats, a very comfortable majority, much better than where they stand right now.So we'll see what decision they make.My opinion is thatthey will not call an election. It just doesn't seem to be how Mark Carney wants to do things.

5:55

I think they'll just keep kicking the can down the road and we'll always be on the edge of our seats of whether we'll have an election or not.You leave your comments in the comment section and let me know what you think that they'll do.As far as the Conservatives are concerned, they're going all in on the possibility of a full -blown election this fall. They are flooding the market now with AI -generated ads that are election ads, make no mistake. But unfortunately, unfortunately for them and their leader, Pierre Pauly, they've completely humiliated themselves in one of the ads that they just released.Do you notice something strange about the ad already?

6:37

Well, you should, because those are not real people. This is not a real situation. This is not a real announcement or set. This is all AI.The Conservatives have decided to run just AI -generated ads. Now, I've worked with AI on this channel, and I've rejected using it.

6:53

You can just give AI instructions like, make me a video showing politicians making a big announcement of a new project, and then showing that nothing happens in the future.Just as simple as that, and AI will search its database of trillions and gazillions amount of videos and things that are on the internet, and it'll come up with an ad.And so AI chose that theme to make this AI -generated video. And it continues. So the announcement's over. The AI -generated participants of the ad start to age.

7:36

The set starts to get overgrown.Time goes by.Nothing happens. They made this announcement. They're going to build a new train, but we're just getting older.and waiting and just like every other liberal project big announcements and what happens in the end we just grow old and watch nothing happens those damn liberals okay so the good thing about this video is you don't have to see Pierre Paul his face or hear his voice Which is on purpose, because Pierre Paul is very, very unpopular.

8:12

So they've chosen AI.The problem is, AI does use real information that it searches out when it creates its script. So it shows the announcement of this new train, which is something real. The Liberals have announced this new train, the Alto high -speed rail train that is meant to connect Toronto to Quebec, that highest population corridor in Canada. They made the announcement. And there's a possibility that it might not happen.

8:48

I'm announcing today that Conservatives oppose the $90 billion Liberal Alto train that we call on the carny liberals to cancel it and I am confirming that a future conservative government will cancel this 90 billion dollar boondoggle altogether.

9:04

Oops!I guess the AI is a little bit more intelligent than the conservative eye. They asked AI to make an ad for them and AI searched out information, real information, from the internet. The Liberals are set to announce and proceed with a high -speed rail project. But the Conservatives will stop it and block it and cancel it.And they use that as the script.

9:37

Talk about humiliation. They can't even use AI correctly. The Liberals can't get anything done. They'll never be able to make that train go.Why do we have to have a high -speed train? Why can't we have just a regular speed train?

9:55

The Conservatives are always against everything.Do you know why you want to have a high -speed train rather than a low -speed train?Because if you build a low -speed train, no one will use it.They'll just drive. That's why we drive now.Why do we have roads and cars?

10:10

Why don't we just have trails and horses? Why do we need jets? Can't they just fly with propeller planes?Like, why are the Conservatives always against new technology? The whole world has embraced this high -speed rail systems that can move people around quickly, safely.and very comfortably, and a lot of countries in the world have massive high -speed rail systems that connect themselves, but not Canada.

10:36

The Conservatives would cancel it if we try and do that here. And we'll do an ad about that. We'll use that to ridicule the Liberals. They'll announce the high -speed rail, but it'll never happen. If it's up to us, we'll make sure that it doesn't happen.So...

10:56

So...Alright, alright, I've had my fun. It's been a good day.I'm on holiday, okay?Leave your comments in the comment section.Let me know.

11:09

Do you think...I think...Okay, let's be serious.I think the most likely scenario here... is that we will have by -elections in the fall. That Mark Carney won't play any games, that he'll just continue as he does as kind of a serious non -politician.That's part of his charm, is that he doesn't employ these strategies that I present to you.

11:31

These are just strategies of calling two by -elections to get over 170 ,000 votes.or calling a national election.Doug Ford would call a national election. If the Conservatives were in this position, they'd call a national election. If a previous Liberal government, say Jean Chrétien, or one of those wily politicians that's always thinking strategies, they would call a national election to secure that 190, 185, 195 -seat majority, and then they're good for five years.A shrewd politician would do that, especially when the economic outlook for the country is heading not in the upward direction, through no fault of our own.

12:09

And this would give the Liberals much more time to get these nation -building projects to gain traction. They take a long time. The Conservatives have set themselves up to capitalize on this, to just go all in and saying, Canada's broken, everything's terrible, nothing works, we're all poor, the country's falling apart, and you have to blame the government. And we're going to flood the market with these ads, knowing or hoping that if things get bad, people will lose faith in what's going on, they'll want a change. The Conservatives have no visionary strategy or no ideas of their own.The way they can win is to capitalize on things going bad.

12:52

They hope that Canada becomes broken. They hope that the world economy goes into recession. They hope that the Americans continue in their disastrous economic policies that will slow down economic growth across the world. It will affect Canada. It will affect Europe. It'll affect everyone.

13:10

They hope for that, but they don't have any solutions other than the AI -generated ads that humiliate them.So leave your comments in the comment section.Let me know what you think. All right?Filming today from Whitehorse. We finally reached Whitehorse.

13:25

This is the Yukon River behind me here. We're in the valley. It's a sunny day today.so yes, I've put sunscreen on my nose. The beautiful Yukon River and the city in the valley up there somewhere.
