Right.Yeah, so President Trump said today to Trey Yankst here at Fox News a few things about what the timetable for Iran is.He says, I have no time schedule.I'm not in a hurry.They're good poker players.The midterms have nothing to do with my thinking.

We learned today that export traffic out of Karg Island is virtually ground to a halt.I mean, they're just getting out a fraction of what they were getting out before.

Karg Island.That's their oil export hub.That's where all of Iran's oil is coming from.The blockade has exposed Iran's biggest economic vulnerability.So here Iran is, they're thinking that, hey, if we take over the Strait of Hormuz, we've got this strategic asset that we can use to threaten the world economy and to shut everybody else down.But really, that was a massive blow.

because once they went and did that, they ended up being the ones getting shut down.Iran's oil clock is running down and the real fiscal shock is going to hit in the fall when all their payments come due.Iran pays its troops, government employees, security forces, and industrial workers in cycles with about 60 % of the money coming from oil exports.Well that's now down to zero and if its oil exports continue to be hamstrung in the next cycle the regime will have few options to shield its soldiers and elites from economic shock.Now what can they do?They've already got hyperinflation 100, 400 % inflation, they can print money and pay people and just give it to them.

But then what?That's just going to collapse things over there.And if they can't pay their troops, I don't know how they're going to pay their troops to stop an internal rebellion.Listen to this.

When you look at the price of oil there, it's not great, but it's not bad either.That the president's got a lot of latitude to really wait Iran out here as the economic sanctions and the oil embargo really squeezes them.

I think he does.The president is playing the long game.He wants to leave the next generation of Americans well supplied with energy and without the existential threat of a nuclear -armed Iran.He's playing the long game, and with his lean -in pro -energy policies, the world can fill this hole.That hole is shrinking as we get more oil and gas out of the Gulf.We're growing energy production in Venezuela.

We're growing energy production in Alaska.We're growing energy production right here in Texas.Picture of growth.This is hardworking Americans.This is innovation.And this is the federal government enabling America to be energy dominant.

We're going to get through this.

Of course, one of the big arguments, Mr. Secretary, between the U .S.and Iran, who's going to control?

Exactly.Look at the words of that Iranian deputy foreign minister.Their exports today are zero.barrels of oil per day.The United States military is bringing out eight or nine million barrels of oil per day.Wow.

Is that America that's controlling what's happening there, or is that Iran controlling what's happening there?The data is pretty clear on that.That's America.

Think of the position that Iran is in if the US takes the Strait of Hormuz.If that happens, and that's US territory, and they're not allowed in there, it means the bloc have to get oil out over land.That would be their only way to export oil.How are they going to do that?Okay, so Here we have the Strait of Hormuz.You can see Iran right here.

They've got Afghanistan over here and then over here they've got Iraq.So their only pathway to get out oil is through the Strait of Hormuz and that has totally backfired on them.They're going to have to bring it out.over land.That means they're also going to have to drive through Iraq, who they've recently had pretty poor relations with.Or look at all this terrain right here.

You got mountains in Afghanistan.I mean, the world doesn't need Iran's oil.I don't know how they're going to get it.I don't know how China, who's all the way over here, is going to get Iran's oil.I mean, they would need apretty long pipeline to get that oil shipped to them directly.

That would take a long time to build if they could even build it.Look at all the countries they'd have to go through.Iran has isolated themselves.They've played all of their cards.And like Trump said, they're bad poker players.They're losing.

They're not winning this thing.The numbers do not speak to an Iranian economic victory over the Strait of Hormuz.The numbers do not speak to an imploding America.If anything, the oil of the world is now coming from the Gulf of America, and it's going to come from Venezuela and Guyana.So people are going to come over here.Oil prices are going to go back down.

As the US gets better at escorting ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, and as these countries like the United Arab Emirates build their pipelines around the Strait of Hormuz, this whole thing is going to be irrelevant within two years as a destination to even get this stuff.And what does that mean?It means that the United States is going to have an easier time controlling this proposed new territory, the strain of America.I don't know if Trump's going to call it that, but as Iran makes less and less money and has less and less of a military to threaten what's ever going on there, controlling that area is just going to be easier because there will be less opposition.And there's not a thing that they can do about it.Hopefully this means freedom is on the horizon for the people of Iran, at which point the US could say, hey, guys, great news.

You've got a peaceful government.You want to have peace with your neighbors?Go ahead.Take this area of the world back.Run it yourselves.Bring your oil out.
