We do have to get to a bit of breaking news.I'm going to put it up on your screen now.This is courtesy of Fox News.We've gotten an update on that missing Auburn student.They were found dead in Japan.Right now, they're calling it an unimaginable loss as Auburn student James Weston Higginbotham was found dead in a mountainous region outside of Kyoto.

This happened after a week -long search, according to his mother.And so we do have more of these updates as well from Fox News, putting on their website, letting us know that the family has now conveyed that confirmation after Weston.vanished during a family vacation in Japan.

This happened in late May, and so it was a statement that was posted to the Facebook page of his mother.His mother, Nancy, revealed that her son's body was discovered by a volunteer search and rescue group in that mountainous region outside of Kyoto.She goes on to say that our family is heartbroken.Nancy Higginbotham wrote in that post, the grief we feel is impossible to put into words.The family also expressed their deep gratitude to the people across the United States, Japan, and the globe who offer prayers and assisted in some of those search efforts.

She did go on to say that the outpouring of kindness and support has carried us through the darkest days of our lives.She's now pleading for privacy as well as the family begins to navigate this loss.This update, of course, comes after that massive multinational search.The 20 year old hiker was last seen on May 29th just east of Kyoto after being separated from his parents following a family argument, according to Fox News Digital.His parents, though, were able to track him near a river and boarding a train via the Life 360 app.This is before his phone location suddenly went dark.
