BREAKING: Starmer's Cabinet Mass Resignations - UK Government FALLING
Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to 2C TV, this is your global news channel, I'm Maya 2C and the British government is collapsing as we speak. The Prime Minister Keir Starmer is currently in hiding in his Downing Street bunker as several government ministers have started to resign. It is now Official, the rebellion has now reached the cabinet and of course the rest of the government's already collapsing anyway. That's not looking too good for the rest of the Labour Party. The reason I was a couple of minutes late, and by a couple of minutes I mean four minutes late, It's because everything is changing as we speak.By the minute, Andy Burnham, who is the main challenger for the leadership of the Labour Party and Prime Minister, has now arrived in London from Manchester.
We're going to give you guys the latest update on this live stream and let's go through what's been happening over the last few hours.Of course, last time we gave you guys the latest developments of when The rebellion reached Parliament and a huge number of Labour MPs called for the resignation of the Prime Minister. We then had, earlier today, the first resignation of the day from the government.Junior Minister, Miata Faunbula, I think. She has now resigned from Keir Starmer's government.and since then we have now had almost 100 MPs now who have publicly called for the resignation of Keir Starmer.
This morningthere was a cabinet meeting and this is what I'm going to talk to you guys about in case you missed this.Today has been the most hilarious day in British politics for a very long time actually. The reason for this is because last night we had the beginning of the actual rebellion.Today we are now having a civil war in the Labour Party and in Downing Street. At 10 a .
m.this morning we had a cabinet meeting The prime minister told everybody at the table, don't talk about their leadership.Come and talk to me privately one on one afterwards. So he didn't let anybody talk.He ranted about his own nonsense. We don't know what they talked about.
Following that, he immediately ran away. When MPs, government ministers, including West Streeting, the health secretary, tried to speak to the prime minister, he ran away.He refused to speak to any of his colleagues.didn't give a chance to the cabinet to even speak to it, ask any questions. He delivered a pre -prepared statement saying that he will not resign. And then he started talking about the war in Iran and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
I don't know why, considering that the British government is completely inactive in the conflict in the Middle East, but he thought that would be a good idea to just talk about random topics that have nothing to do with him.And then he ran away. And we've now had absolute chaos over the last few hours as we speak outside Downing Street and the Prime Minister's office because he's not talking to anybody. He isn't hiding, crying. We don't know what's happening. He's not answering.
His office are not even responding to the media. He has sent out his surrogates and proxies to basically talk to the media. But let me just show you the absolute mess that the mainstream media are basically doing outside his office in Downing Street.Sky News, for example, just we already have a problem with the political establishment, the government in the UK not being able to function like normal human beings. And this is the absolute state of their liberal legacy media, including Sky News.Watch this mess.
Wait, wait, wait. The microphone. What is this? What is happening over there in Westminster?Chaos aside, we had then another major resignation and that is the Home Office Minister, Jess Phillips.Jess Phillips has now resigned and in her statement she said, we have started to make steps towards change whilst in government and I have been grateful for your support.
However, it would be remiss of me not to say that real change and direction in this area usually come from threats made by me in light of catastrophic mistakes. The Peter Mandelson saga, when I wasbubbled up, made number 10 kick into gear on the subject in order to prove our credentials, whatever that means.I will never waste a crisis to make advancements for women and girls. And so demands were made and some were met.I think you are a good man, fundamentally.
who cares about the right things. However, I have seen firsthand how that is not enough. That is, on the one hand, it's a very polite resignation. On the other hand, it's the most nonsensical statements.I don't know what she was talking about, but Jess Phillips going is not really a big loss. But of course, it's not really about Jess Phillips herself because she's a crazy person.
It's about the fact that her resignation is obviously creating a domino effect.Everybody's going.Everybody's going. Now, let's also go to the next resignation we had earlier on.That's Alex Davies Jones. She has also resigned.
And in her statement, she said, I have been proud to deliver some monumental changes which will help save lives and shift the dial on the conversation.OK, however, we have needed to do more. And therefore, it is with a heavy heart, very heavy heart that I feel I have no choice but to resign. The scale of the electoral defeats and have been catastrophic. The country has spoken and we must listen. We waited 14 years to get into power and change the lives of those we represent.
The time now is for the bold, radical action.I know you to be a good and honest man, but in my heart are my constituents the biggestI have been I have had the honor of working with every day including the Hillsborough victims and their families and all those who demand better of us.I implore you to act in the country's interests and set out a timetable for your departure. It's funny the calls for the resignation for Kirstahmer are getting a little bit desperate.Everybody's begging now, please, Prime Minister, please pack up your bags and go.
The problem is that Keir Starmer is currently literally holding on to the building number 10.He's like, I'm not leaving. They're trying to drag him out and he's locked the doors. As I said, he's currently in hiding and nobody knows why he's refusing to speak to any of his colleagues apart from those who are his surrogates. But There's a lot of other things happening as we speak.Ivan says that Starmer is intimidated.
That's what he said yesterday, by the way.Instead of saying intimidated, he said intimidated.Starmer and his cabinets are busy right now writing their resignation letters. They are too busy to talk to the press at the moment.Ah, you think that?Oh, I would if I were you, I would change my mind.
James, because I'm going to show you the most insane situation happening also with the cabinet members outside number 10.Apart from what I showed you about the mess with this with Sky News, but a meeting between Keir Starmer and trade union leaders that was supposed to be happening this afternoon has just been cancelled by number 10.The prime minister will not be meeting with anybody today, is currently sitting in the shower fully clothed, crying allegedly. So trade unionsyou're going to have to wait.We don't know when that meeting is going to be rescheduled, but it's not going to happen today.
Four MPs have now suggested that a new name has come up for leadership challenge. It's not just about Andy Burnham. It's not really just about Shabana Mahmood or Angela Rayner.Oh, we got more names coming up.Ladies and gentlemen, this is Al Kearns.Al obviously has got military background.
He is one of the Labour MPs right now.Four Labour MPs have now been in touch with the allies of Al and are convinced that he is preparing to run for the leadership of the Labour Party. But obviously, right now, as I said, Keir Starmer needs to be dragged out of the building because he's refusing to leave. We've never had anything like this before. We've had prime ministers refusing to resign for some time saying, I would like to continue. We had the same with Theresa May.

Get started freeLiz Truss for about 10 minutes and she changed her mind like a lettuce.Margaret Thatcher refused to leave for a while. But usually it's not They try to justify. They say, I've got things to do.I still have the support of the public.Whatever.
Keir Starmer is not even talking to anybody. He's just locked the doors. No comment.I'm not even home.I'm busy washing my hair, guys. It's a fascinating situation as we speak.
OK, so there is an update with Andy Burnham.Again, Andy Burnham is currently the mayor of Greater Manchester. He used to be in Parliament as an MP and he is one of the Brown Knights, not the Blairites, they're the followers of Gordon Brown.Imagine being a Brown Knight, one of the most incompetent Prime Ministers we've had who sold out gold. And there are people who were created after him as Prime Minister, and one of them is Andy. But obviously he left Parliament, and he's been a threat for some time to become the new leader and the new Prime Minister.
Recently, there was a by -election or a special election, and Keir Starmer used his internal powers to block his return as a candidate to stand in that special election.Well, today Andy Burnham has arrived in London. This is the latest image we have of Andy.He has arrived at Euston train station from Manchester. His team have said that he is going to be busy today meeting with Labour MPs in Parliament. We don't know what they are discussing, but I think we know what they're discussing, but not publicly, because a group of Labour MPs are in the Greater Manchester area, which is a Labour heartland, basically, most of it.
The inner Manchester in the northwest of England is quite red. They are now talking about one of them sacrificing themselves.Literally, they're going to resign as an MP.to trigger a by -election so that Andy Burnham could stand as candidate. And it's a safe Labour seat, so they're going to win the seat anyway.Keir Starmer is now in full panic mode.
The moment that announcement happens, obviously, it will be the end of the Prime Minister. It doesn't really matter if he's currently locked himself in the bedroom and is saying, I'm refusing to leave. It's not up to him.The Labour MPs and the Cabinet members who are now resigning it's up to them and they are ready to go literallyto drag him out.And it could happen any moment.
Now, James mentioned something about Labour cabinet members obviously are busy writing their resignation letters to talk to the media.Well, the prime minister still has a number of surrogates and proxies. He decided to send them out.Only the ones who are loyal to the prime minister for now, by the way, for now, were allowed to speak to the media.which is hilarious. It's literally like the IRGC, the IRGC level of control right now.
The prime minister has banned his own members from speaking to the press and they came out. This is the level of desperation you're getting right now in this dying, dying regime.Let's go to some of the surrogates and proxies.
I just want to say, look, the Prime Minister has my full support. The Labour Party has a process for triggering a leadership election.
Steve Reid.
That has not happened. So we all intend to get on with our jobs. And that's what I'm going to do.
Peter Kyle, would you speak to Sky News, sir?Peter Kyle.I'm fine, how are you?
I'm very good, thank you.
How was Cabinet and what did everyone say when Keir Starmer said a leadership race had not been triggered?
Well, it's the fact. We've had a very purposeful Cabinet meeting talking about the big issues facing our economy and society.Nothing has been triggered.I'm about to go off to Brussels to continue working with Brussels to deepen the relationship, to benefit Britain. We are working hard on the big issues that are facing the country and Keir is showing really steadfast leadership.
Did anyone challenge him?Liz Kendall, would you come and talk to us quickly?Thank you. What happened in the cabinet?
Well, the prime minister talked aboutthe challenges we face as a country, the crisis in the Middle East, the impact on the cost of living here, and that this government will do what we were elected to do, which is serve the British people. The Prime Minister has my full support in this.Let me just say this. There is a process to challenge the leader. No one has made that challenge.
And what people would expect me to do is to focus on how we can grow the economy, tackle the cost of living, and give them a better life.

Get started freeAnd that is what Liz Gaganis did.Oh, no.Can you come and say a few words? Can you come and say a few words, sir?
How can the government carry on like this?
The Prime Minister is going to continue with his job as he should, as the public will expect him to do.And I'm going to continue with my...
Pat, did anyone challenge him?
Did anyone challenge him around that table?Did anyone publicly challenge him around the table?
No, they didn't.They didn't.Many statements of support for the job that he's doing. And that's what the public...Can he hang on?He'll carry on.
Can he hang on?He still wants to carry on with his job.
as he should as the public will expect him to be so that was just to just to say what the prime minister when he made that statement no one actually said to him publicly that they wanted him to go and he also said that there were lots of messages of support around the table. And this is really fascinating, because Sophie, you can see what's happening. They have lined up Trump ministers, who are backing Keir Starmer, to come out of the door and make statements on camera.I've never seen this before in all the time we've done it.Normally they leg it, but they are choosing to come and make a statement. They're not really taking questions.
There's all situations. So there's something going on.out and said, well, nobody challenged him at the meeting.I mean, half of parliament is basically like falling apart right now and his cabinet resigning. They say, but nobody said anything at the meeting.I wonder why.
Considering that you used civil servants, the cabinet secretary, your political advisors, the other secretaries and admin and everybody else and Greg the goat, you told your cabinet ministers before the meeting, you're not allowed to speak about the leadership. You banned it.You said you're not allowed to talk to the prime minister about leadership.Don't talk. You'll be kicked out.If you want to talk to him, talk to him one on one afterwards.
Personally. And then obviously he ran away.He refused to talk to anybody. And now these guys are coming out.So what?Nobody challenged the prime minister.
Well, they weren't allowed to.That's why they are resigning, because you didn't let them speak. We now have another one, another resignation in Kiastama's government. So the health minister, Zubair Ahmed, has now resigned.from the British government. We also, I believe, have a short statement from Zubir Ahmed, which I will quickly read out, saying, it is with a heavy heart that I write to you to resign from your government as a health innovation and safety minister.
Mr. Ahmed, your first sentence is wrong. You absolute lunatic. It is not your government. It's not Kirstahmer's government. It's his majesty's government. We live in constitutional monarchy, you weirdo.
The government doesn't belong to Kirstahmer.Anyway, he says, it has been the honor of my life.to bring my 20 years of frontline experience as an NHS surgeon to government.I mean, we haven't really seen any effects of it, any change in the health care system. In my time as a minister, I have been proud of delivering a life sciences sector that is now world class.I haven't seen it, but okay.
And something about clinical trials delivering innovative life -changing medicines to UK patients faster than ever before. No evidence of that.I have also been proud to use my clinical experience to accelerate the digital transformation of our NHS.Hang on, is this resignation letter just about bragging about his own achievements?Literally, two paragraphs is just about what I've done.I am such a good doctor and an MP.
I'm the best.I'm the best politician.I've done so much in government.Let's fast forward to see what is going on.Everything is about him.Throughout my entirety of my surgical career, I have been guided by the principles of precision, clarity, candor, and above all else, an aspiration for excellence.
Is he using ChatGPT for big words? Those are the principles that I have attempted to bring to Parliament and to my ministerial office. And it is those principles that sadly lead me to conclude that your continuation in office is wholly untenable. You could have just said that from the beginning.I will be forever grateful for your decency and tireless work in turning our party around. For the record, the Labour Party under Keir Starmer has officially collapsed.
I'm not really sure if Keir Starmer has actually helped the Labour Party. But OK, if you want to believe that, you can.Let's have a look at Keir Starmer's peak moment, because soon we are going to miss the prime minister.Just in case, yesterday, as I showed you, he made a panicky speech in which he said that this weekend's 16th of May rally, the United Kingdom, which I will be attending and speaking, is apparently far right. And he said it is there to create confrontation and intimidation. He said intimidation instead of intimidation.

Get started freeBut that wasn't the first time he messed up.Let's remind ourselves because we're going to miss this guy, right?I'm sure I'm sure we're going to miss this guy. This is what he was talking about Gaza and the Israeli hostages.
I call again for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The return of the hostages. The return of the hostages. The hostages.
The best part about this mistake, the return of the sausages instead of hostages, was that he very smoothly corrected himself without panicking. He was like, the return of the sausages, the hostages. Not bad, actually. Not a bad turnaround.Right.So there is an update about Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary.
she oh hello apparently she changed her mind according to her team she was about to resign she she called uh well they said she called for the prime minister to resign her spokesperson has now deniedshe's planning to resign and she said that well her team said she is cracking on with the job whatever that job is which is basically to ruin this country I guess and we now I believe I'm gonna check the latest number we have about almost 100 MPs who have now called for Keir Starmer to resign. And this is, by the way, they have officially reached the threshold. The threshold has now been reached, which is enough MPs now to trigger a vote of no confidence and or a leadership challenge.I don't understand why Keir Starmer is not getting the message. It's over.
What are you doing? You can hide in your Downing Street bunker for some time.It doesn't matter. They're going to come and get you.Just do the easy thing. There is such thing as an honest and peaceful resignation.
Largely peaceful resignation.Strong independent reporters don't need a male sound person.Oh, you still need someone to hold the mic.All I have to say about Jess Phillips is that never trust anyone with a small jaw and Rothschild's eyes. What on earth is a Rothschild's eyes?Snowman needs a Monty Python as his ghostwriter.
It's only a flesh wound.Everything is fine.Love the word salad resignation.Yeah, there are two big resignations. One of them was just nonsense. The other one was just about me, me, me, me. I'm a doctor and I'm an MP.
Hey.word salad resignations for F's sake, says Ivan from Columbus, Ohio.Your coverage is second to none.We love all your channel and great, great coverage that the mainstream media choose to ignore. How do you think we can arm the Iranian, the wanting Iranian citizenship? What?
You mean, how do we arm the Iranian people?I'm assuming, right?rather than citizenship.I mean, yeah, I'm assuming that's what you mean.I don't have the method for you guys, unfortunately.CIA knows how to do that.
And they have been trying their best, although the Kurds obviously stole some of the guns, as you know.Big things are about to happen in the next few hours, by the way, in the Middle East.Huge, huge things. And I believe I've just got the alert that Israel is now under attack. So I will be checking the information on that as well. And we will be coming back live after this.
Has anyone seen Stammer? His cat is looking for him.Apparently, the cat litter has been full since the election.Stammer, do us all a favor.Just quit.Hopefully soon.
Are all Labour politicians horrible speakers?99%.Yeah.Their speeches and even their statements are like being shot in the ears. They're not even comical like Kamala.I know.
That's the sad reality.Tonight will be the night of the long knives.Absolutely.We're going to have more resignations, guys.Get your popcorns ready.Any thoughts on Starmer going nuclear and calling a general election?
Take everyone with you.Even he's not that stupid.I mean, actually, if I were him, that is the best option.Just dissolve Parliament, go to the king, dissolve Parliament, call for an election.Threaten.There are things you can't do.
you can threaten. You can use it as a nuclear deterrent.Threaten your own MPs and say, have you seen the opinion polls? We are losing right now.If you don't stop attacking me, I'm going to call a general election. And obviously they will all panic.
They're going to be like, yeah, we don't want an election right now because they're all going to lose their seats. So if Starmer is smart, he would threaten them with a snap election. It's the best option.UK is such a joke.At this point, bring back and wear your wigs since you're all clowns anyway.God, please stop saying process.
I know. How many times did you say process in that answer? That's funny. If they are not resigning, they should be.They are resigning. The whole point of the live stream is about the mass.
It's in the title.Mass resignations. The number was 81, then went down 1 overnight.I wonder what that persuasion was like. Some sort of threat. All those poor, heavy hearts.

Get started freeOK, something else is happening, guys. How do I get a job from the Labour Party?I'm very good at doing nothing.I can definitely wipe a table, qualify as leader.Amazing.OK, we have some breaking news happening.
All right, what is happening on the other side?Something about the King.OK, Buckingham Palace.has now intervened. The King has spoken. The King Charles has now privately asked number 10 Downing Street to see where the Prime Minister is and asked whether, oh no, I need to, I can't.
The King has asked whether his speech is going to happen tomorrow or not.Is it going to go aheadThe palace is confused. The prime minister is confusing the whole country, including the king.OK, so King Charles doesn't actually know at this point whether the speech is going to go ahead. The palace source has said the palace view is we do not want to be any part of this conversation.
Do not bring us into it.I'm not even joking. This is confirmed by Politico.Wow.Buckingham Palace are terrified of what's actually happening right now and said don't bring the King into this. And they just want to make sure, they just want to check where is the Prime Minister and whether the speech is going to happen tomorrow, Wednesday the 13th of May. I don't think that it should happen.
I don't think the King, the only thing that the King should do right now is have a direct conversation with his Prime Minister. That's the only thing that you can do because the king's job, obviously, in this country is constitutional monarchy. It's not symbolic. The king's job is to ensure that the country is stable and the political system is functioning. And obviously, if the prime minister is not functioning and right now he's hiding, the king has to talk to him and say, are you OK?Can you carry on?
Would you like me to get you a taxi?So whatever you want, the king is there to help you and to kick you out.So.I love how the palace spaces said, please, please don't get us involved. We don't want to save you.Essentially, we don't want to be involved in this labor civil war.
Amazing, amazing stuff happening.I think there should be nothing less. The only thing that Keir Starmer should have, the only thing King Charles should say to the Prime Minister is unconditional surrender.Nothing else.Just give up.Pack up your bags.
and go.We haven't received the reaction from Downing Street after the palace's statements, by the way. They don't know if this speech is going ahead.OK, so 91.We now have 91 MPs.It's 10, 10 MPs over the threshold you need for the leadership challenge to bring down the Prime Minister.
This is crazy stuff happening right now, live in London, Stan and Westminster. So there is also what Angela Rayner, who was deputy prime minister until a few months ago, has now told MPs that she will run for leadership of the Labour Party if Andy Burnham does not return to Parliament. So, as I said, the priority for the rebels is to bring Andy Burnham back into Parliament and the only way you can do that is to get one of the MPs to sacrifice themselves, resign as a Member of Parliament, call a by -election or special election immediately, have Andy Burnham as a candidate, win the election, become an MP and then challenge the Prime Minister. But that is a bit of a long process because it's going to take weeks.Angela Rayner has now said I'm not going to be that patient. So she might actually, well, she's now preparing to challenge the Prime Minister.
If Angela Rayner becomes the leader of the Labour Party and Prime Minister, the Labour Party will be annihilated withinminutes by the people of this country. It will also create panic inside the Green Party because Angela Reina is far left. The Green Party is far left and they were hoping that the Labour Party could keep a liberal centrist in power. And so this is going to be fun because the left is going to split their own vote and they are completely finished. It's over.
And as things stand now, If an election happens, the parliament in the UK will be hung parliament. No party will have a majority.Welcome to the United Kingdom in 2026.No, obviously, if you're watching from Europe, you're kind of used to it because you guys have a proportional representation, which means that most of the time you don't really get a majority, a party forming a government. But in the UK, it's not really a normal thing. We tend to actually go with the public consent to make sure that At least one political party has the majority in parliament to form a government using their party rather than getting help from other parties.
As things stand now, no party will be able to get a majority because no party is strong enough to dominate.Reform UK is likely to be the largest party but they won't form a majority and they will have to form a coalition with the Conservative Party, the Tories, in order to carry on.That's the only option.I cannot take any of this.I don't understand why these guys are thinking that this is the option.Get the Prime Minister to hide.
Just wait for the whole thing to calm down.Sausages.Stammer.Stammer.What a...I get angry when he said that.
Three remote cousins of mine were hostages saved, now shame on...Yeah, but he didn't say it on purpose. He just messed up.The guy is always panicky. He's such a wiener.Just always in the way, on purpose.
He's putting on his suit to meet Charlie Boy.If the King demands to see the Prime Minister, he's going to have to leave Downing Street.King Donald's advice to Keir.Cowboy up and resign.Velcro on his trousers. He's going for the long, slow pull instead of the fast rip.
There it says, Stammer is turning number 10 into a spider hole like Saddam Hussein's.It's more like Gaddafi at this point. Please, William, take over now.Charles has asked Stammer, can we free the sausages?Who's going to free Stammer? He's currently his own hostage.
Superchat, love the show.Go, go to CTV.Thank you so much.I am proud of the UK for at least attempting to reverse this destructive course infecting the entire Western world. But it's not the UK doing it.It's the Labour Party trying to remove their own party leader, their own liberal globalist party leader to replace him with a communist.
So it's going to go from bad to worse for some time. But it doesn't matter, really, who's going to be the Labour leader, because unless they somehow manage to find a miracle and find an alternative that could turn the party around by pretending to be right wing, they are in a mess, especially if they go with the far left candidates.I mean, it's a lose -lose if they go with another liberal globalist.eh.If they go with a communist, eh.They're not going to be able to come back.

Get started freeAnd nobody will believe the Liberal Party if they try to do what Tony Blair did by pretending to be right -wing.Nobody's going to believe them.Nobody trusts them anymore.Snowmen are slimy, it makes my skin crawl, and I'm all the way over here in the US.We had exactly the same situation in Canada at the end of 2024 before Trudeau resigned at the beginning of January 2025.Similar systems and similar constitutions.
Yeah, they both have obviously parliamentary systems. So it's the same sort of style of bringing down parties. Also left -wing parties like the Labour Party here and the Liberals in Canada, they have a similar internal system. So the Conservative Party in the UK, they work differently.if you want to bring down the party leader and prime minister. They have a group in Parliament called the 1922 Committee and it's basically the group for all the MPs, all the Tory MPs in Parliament.
They decide if they want to bring down the Prime Minister.their party leader. It's sort of like the assembly of experts in the Islamic Republic who choose the next supreme leader. It's like that. But the Labour Party goes directly to...You have to actually challenge the leader first, and then it goes to the membership of the Labour Party.
Slightly different system, obviously, but the Conservative MPs could just change the leader without going to the membership, because they can do that. But obviously, they've kind of changed it the last few years. There is a vote by members, normal members, But last time, the MPs decided just not to do that. They just picked Rishi Sunak.Dictators never resign, yet they get dragged out of their buildings.I think we are about to have another resignation.
Oh, my God.How many is that? No, it's going to be a long night and it's just the beginning. It's literally just the beginning. And we are going to have so much fun with what is about to happen. And I will, of course, keep you guys posted.
We're going to take a short break and come back because I'm also keeping an eye on the situation in the Middle East.Israel is now under attack and President Trump is getting ready to resume the strikes in Iran.Thank you so much for watching.I'm Maya Tusi and we are the media.
