California Tries to Stop Oil Again

California just found a new emergency, American oil.California has filed a request in federal court to stop Sable Offshore Corp from pumping oil off Santa Barbara.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta accused Sable of trying to get around state environmental rules.California doesn't oppose oil, they just believe it should be pumped overseas, shipped across the ocean, and then sold for $7 a gallon.

Sable is now transporting its oil through the Las Flores pipelines, citing an executive order from President Trump to resume oil drilling operations off the Southern California coast.But the state of California is trying to stop it.They're trying to stop the pipeline because in California, the only thing allowed to move freely is the homeless population.
