CARNEY Announces Major Pipeline - REJECTS USA

Hello everybody, welcome back.I hope your day is starting off just great.There's big news.A massive new project was just announced in Canada and this showcases how much of a nation builder, consensus builder, deal maker our Prime Minister is.The repercussions are going to be huge.It's a middle finger straight in the face of the United States.

And one particular politician who decided he should humiliate himself the very day before the announcement.The headline, Canada and Alberta to build a $35 billion oil pipeline for Asian exports.percent stake in the project, with an option to raise the stake to 20 % when the line is operating.The project has now been submitted to the federal major projects office for review, a process that may eventually qualify it for faster regulatory approval.Canada and Alberta?How exactly does that work?

Trans Mountain Corporation, a pipeline operator that's owned by the Canadian government, the company that just built the Trans Mountain expansion pipeline that came into service in 2025, has been tapped to build a new export conduit.connecting Alberta oil sands to a Vancouver area port.Now there's been some amazing deal making and consensus building to get this project going.One bit of deal and consensus building is between our Prime Minister and the Premier of British Columbia, Carney and EB strike multi -billion dollar major projects deal ahead of West Coast Pipeline announcement.There's actually more nation building embedded in this new nation building project.British Columbia has extracted tens of billions of dollars from Ottawa to speed up the development of several major infrastructure projects while also pledging not to obstruct any new bitumen pipeline that doesn't exist.

tidewater on its north coast.So the federal government is pledging to accelerate nation building projects within BC.and has committed not to touch the northwest coast, meaning not to get rid of the tanker ban, which the indigenous people in the province of British Columbia were so worried about lifting.So the tanker ban remains and the province of British Columbia vows to not oppose any new pipeline project and actually to get behind it.So how are we going to build a new pipeline without removing the tanker ban?With another bit of deal making and consensus building, this time between our Prime Minister and the Premier of Alberta, Alberta is now proposing a southern route for the new West Coast pipeline.

It turns out you don't have to terminate a new pipeline in the northwest coast of BC through that pristine land.Remember the Exxon Valdez oil spill north of that area that contaminated and destroyed the ecosystem there for decades?Well, our Indigenous people have said that they would be dead set against any pipeline that terminates there.So our Prime Minister, in another example of consensus building, has talked to all the stakeholders and realized that that's a non -starter.He's worked with David Eby and Daniel Smith and the engineers and corporations and there's a simple solution.As reported here in the Vancouver Sun, Alberta's proposed new oil pipeline will go south through BC to Roberts Bank in Delta.

And in a further example of deal -making and consensus building, our Prime Minister has tapped expertise that we already have and that's the Trans Mountain Corporation that exists.This new pipeline will pretty much follow the same route as the TMX expansion but which followed the original Trans Mountain pipeline route, traveling from Edmonton to Burnaby.So consensus building, consulting, compromising, that's how you get things done.So let's just recap it here.Alberta wanted a pipeline to link their oil productionthe West Coast so that we could export to other markets other than the United States.

The federal government also wanted that.British Columbia was dead set against a pipeline.terminating in the north part of the province, as were the indigenous people.We already have a Crown Corporation that has just built a pipeline that terminates in the southern part of the province.They have the expertise.That Crown Corporation makes money for the federal government, charging a toll for the oil as it's transported to the coast.

You put all those things together without fighting, without threatening.You talk to everyone, you sit down, and you get everyone to agree.So it's a win -win -win.And I might also add that if you care about the environment, one of the stipulations to having any pipeline built, remember in the MOU that the Prime Minister sign with Daniel Smith is Alberta must proceed with their carbon capture project which will capture all the carbon from the production of pretty much all the oil sands oil in Alberta.The equivalent of removing all the carbon that would be generated from every car that drives in Alberta today.That's how big the carbon capture project is.

And I mentioned at the beginning of the video a finger right in the face of the United States because there was a choice.The United States made the huge concession in April of this year, not too long ago, when the bombastic buffoon who wears the orange makeup signed an order authorizing Bridger's Canada -Wyoming crude pipeline, which is just a new name for the Keystone XL pipeline, that would have delivered about a million barrels a day of Alberta oil to the United States.Now why would he do that?Because we don't need anything from Canada.They've been very nasty to us.Canada's a terrible place.

We don't need anything from Canada.We certainly don't need their oil.But I'll approve this pipeline because if they want to sell oil to us, well, I guess we'll take it.We'll take it off their hands.

But we don't need it.

We don't need their oil.And yes, I'm happy.a bad hair day, but make no mistake, make no mistake.There was the opportunity for Canada to just capitulate and say, oh, well, since the United States has approved that Keystone XL pipeline, let's just proceed with that.Then we can increase our oil production by a million barrels a day.But that was not the deal that our Prime Minister was looking for.

Our Prime Minister was interested in diversifying, as was Alberta, to be able to export our product to other markets other than the United States.This is great news.You can tell I'm excited.I had to do this video even though I am traveling the country right now.We're going to get to the fun part here, because right after the first announcement that was made on this file, when Mark Carney and David Eby made their announcement that the federal government would not touch the tanker ban, and Daniel Smith immediately announcing that Alberta will now choose a southern route, Pierre Poliev had to jump into action and say, Ridiculous!Poliev congratulates Smith, tells Carney to get out of the way of pipeline plans.

Our Prime Minister has just stick -handled his way and brought consensus to a group of politicians that have disagreed for years and years and years and have been fighting with each other.He's brought them all together.He's consulted and had meetings with all of them.And they're announcing that they've finally agreed and they're going to move ahead with a massive project.And Pierre Paul even said, that's ridiculous.All the Prime Minister has to do is get out of the way.

And by the way, congratulations, Daniel Smith.What a child.But he humiliated himself even more.Polyav said the tanker ban along the northern coast was ridiculous.It takes about 36 hours less time to get to Asia from northern BC as it does from southern BC.That's just because of the curvature of the earth.

It's simple geometry.Pierre Polyav is trying to give us a geometry lesson.It's the curvature of the earth.It's 36 hours closer if you start from northern BC than southern BC.As if a tanker taking 36 hours longer to get to its destination is a deal -breaker.That's the best argument he has.

Hey, dearest, she's around, but she's not flat like a pancake.There's curvature.It'll take longer to get to Asia from southern BC.Oh my God, he is such a moron.But all jokes aside, there's a serious, nefarious side to this.Pierre Poliev doesn't say these things because he's stupid.

Pierre Poliev says these things because he thinks you're stupid.Okay, I said that we were going to be serious here.This is serious because he has gone on the record, has no respect, no concept of what consultation or trying to build consensus with the different stakeholders.He has basically said that he views that Canada should just ignore Indigenous people.You don't actually believe that he said that?Do you remember this from his year -end interview with Global News?

And so all we really need to do is get the Prime Minister out of the way because he is the only one who has the authority to approve or reject.

What about the duty to consult Indigenous leaders?

We should do that.

You would do that?Of course.And what if after those consultations the answer is still no?

Well, the answer is given by the Prime Minister, and I'm running...

I'm saying if the Indigenous leaders say no.

Then I will thank them for their input, and at the end of the day, the Prime Minister has to decide.And my decision, and I'm telling Canadians before the election so they can vote on it, is I will approve a pipeline.

So Pierre Paulieff's position is, even though our Prime Minister has now built consensus with the Premier of Alberta, the Premier of British Columbia, and the Indigenous people that don't want to take the pipeline,the North.He's built consensus with those three large stakeholders that he would rather just throw a wrench into that and say, the hell with all of you.I'm the Prime Minister.I'll approve a pipeline to the North.I will ignore the indigenous people.

I'll just try and ram it through.And this is the typical conservative fight, fight, fight, arrogant stance.Then they'll gaslight us on why it's not happening.Because as soon as you take that position and try to actually get a project going, what happens is the stakeholders, British Columbia gets pissed off because they don't want tankers on their north coast.So they launch cork tanks.challenges against the project.

The Indigenous people, which will be furious, will say, we were not listened to, we were not consulted, and they will launch court challenges against the project.And then the Premier of Alberta will get pissed off because the BC and the Indigenous people are trying to stop the project, and she'll fight, fight, fight because she's a Conservative.And it will be back to the whole country fighting about a project, it'll get stalled in the courts, and nothing will happen.And this is the typical Conservative strategy, is to just blurt out something divisive to try and appear strong, I guess, whatever the reason is, but it always leads to nothing happening.In fact, if you look at Canada's history, while Conservative governments have been in power, there has not been one inch of pipeline built that would transport any hydrocarbon, oil or gas, from Alberta to the west coast of Canada.Never.

Every single infrastructure project that transports hydrocarbon from Alberta to the West Coast has been built either by a Liberal government or while Liberal governments were in power.The original Trans Mountain pipeline, the black one on this map, started construction in 1951 under Liberal Prime Minister Louis Saint Laurent.The blue pipeline on this map, the Trans Mountain expansion, was built bythe federal government by a crown corporation, Trans Mountain Expansion, while liberal government led by Justin Trudeau was in power.Those are the only two oil pipelines that transport Alberta oil to our west coast.And there's one gas pipeline that transports gas to a newly built LNG station on the West Coast.

And that would be this pipeline that connects Alberta and BC natural gas to Kitimat, which was completed and just came online at the end of 2025, while the Liberal government was in power federally and the NDP government was in power in British Columbia.Those are the only three pipelines that we have to our West Coast carrying hydrocarbon.And this new one will follow the same path as the Trans Mountain expansion.Again, we have a Liberal government.There has not been one cent meter of pipeline built from Alberta to the West Coast while Conservative governments were in power.But the gaslighting is endless.

The Liberals are against pipelines.The Liberals never built pipelines.I'll do another video about that topic in itself in the future.I'll also do a video in the future about the environmental impacts of this.and the environmental impacts of what goes along with this, the carbon capture and the electrification of our economy, which Mark Carney is also moving full speed on.Leave your comments in the comment section.

Let me know what you think of this development.I think it's fantastic economic news for our country.It just shows that if you work together, if you have meetings, you make deals, you build consensus, you get all the stakeholders together and you work hard, you can get everyone to compromise and agree.Instead of just fight, fight, fight, doom and gloom, point fingers, Canada's broken, everything's horrible, the federal government just needs to get out of the way, and everything will magically happen if you elect me, the guy that thinks Canada's broken.And incidentally, the pictures in the background there is of our journey through, we went through the very spot from Portlandin the north tip of Vancouver Island through the Northwest Passage to Prince Rupert just a beautiful area.

Now I'm not an expert on where super tankers can navigate but I can say that that is a pristine beautiful part of our country.You should visit it before you pass judgment on what should be developed there and respect the residents and the First Nations who live there, who are opposed.We are on our long drive home.We're going to make some stops along the way.It'll take about two, three, maybe four days to get back home.And then I'll be back to posting daily.
