Carney & EU Pledge to Take Over Financing Ukraine's Fight with Russia

150 million dollars to get Canada into a song contest.This is Eurovision He spent a hundred and fifty million dollars of our money to get us into Eurovision He wants to get us closer to Europe with any way possible.One of these ways is Eurovision So instead of helping Canadian taxpayers who can't afford houses who are living in tents in parks in cities across Canada with this 150 million He's gonna blow this on entry fee to Eurovision says a lot about the guy doesn't it?We've also got Carney set to announce Canada's new submarine We've got Brian Lilly from the Toronto Sun commenting on he thinks it's going to be split.That's a lot of rumor going around that he's going to be buying some from both of them.It doesn't make sense.

Some from South Korea and some from Germany.We're going to have a mixed submarine fleet.I don't even think we need submarines at this point.Like we don't have the money for military.We need to fix our country, our economy first before we spend money, money on military.The reason why Carney's doing this is jacking up the military spending is he's working this in with Brookfield.

Now, the main thing coming out of this that was already came out before Carney got there is this.NATO Summit, European members and Canada pledge Ukraine aid.The NATO Alliance's European members and Canada have signed a readiness to fully take over the financing of Ukraine's fight against Russia.That's right, we're now fully funding this conflict.Did you sign up for that?I didn't sign up for that.

Did anyone here sign up for that?NATO members are hoping to pledge 70 billion euros or 80 billion US dollars in military aid to Ukraine for 2026, at least equivalent levels of support in 2027 when they meet in upcoming summit in Turkey.Now, Donald Trump has basically said he's pulling back his funding for Ukraine.So now they're trying to step forward and say, we'll fund it now.European allies in Canada will be funding this.According to Reuters, the summit declaration texts will seek to reaffirm an ironclad commitment to our collective defense under Article 5 of the Washington Treaty and the transatlantic bond.

An attack on one is an attack on all.Bankruptcy on one is bankruptcy on all of us.Now, if you're new to the channel, what's really going on is Mark Carney's dumping our money over to Ukraine, which I have listed here, all the different dates on the left side and then highlighted here, two billion, two billion, another 2 .5 billion, another two billion to Ukraine, because this Zafireshi power plant, the largest in Europe,has six reactors, was taken over by the Russians, which we see on this map here.I'll show you an interactive map because this has changed since I put this on here.This power plant to operate, Brookfield and Westinghouse Cameco have the exclusive rights for this to send over the uranium and the parts to maintain it.

And while it's under Russian control, Westinghouse Cameco and Brookfield cannot capitalize on that contract.It's bad for business, bad for Mark Carney's Brookfield Global Transition Fund if Russia has control over this.As we saw going back a couple months ago, this article here, back from February 19th, 2026, Russia regulator issues operating license for second Zafereshi unit.So they're trying to fire this back up with their own uranium, cutting Brookfield out of the deal.So it's no wonder that Mark Carney keeps sending our money over there to try to fire this power plant back up because right now it's under Russian control.So it's right over here, this area here, this is the power plant and this red area is the area captured by the Russians right now.

And as you can see, this yellow area, they keep fighting over this.So it goes back and forth, back and forth.But this is pretty close to Ukrainian control.They just need to push in here and take this area.But it's a big wall here.This has not moved that much.

So Carney keeps dumping our money over there.So I'm not surprised he signed on with the Europeans to fully take over the financing of Ukraine's fight against Russia because it's in his own financial best interest.

Well, if I could only invest in one thing, I'd invest in our transition fund.Global transition fund.

Now, moving ahead, we've got Stephen Guilbeau dunking all over Mark Carney.

And Quebec has to, has tobe able to represent my constituent because the reason they'd sent me to Ottawa was no longer valid.

Given the latest announcements, do you believe Prime Minister Mark Carney is someone who is concerned with climate change and lowering greenhouse gas emissions?

I mean, clearly, Canada is still doing a number of things to fight climate change, but it's no longer the priority it was under Prime Minister Trudeau.We will be lucky if we hit a third of our emission target that we were set to hit under Prime Minister Trudeau.We were very close to getting where we were supposed to be by 2030.And now we'll be halfway, maybe a third of the way what Prime Minister Harper had committed to do, let alone Prime Minister Trudeau.So it's no longer a priority.And, René, listen, we can try and pretend that climate change isn't happening.

We can bury our heads in the sand.But every year between forest fires in northern Quebec right now, forest fires are four times what they are normally at this time of the year, heat waves, floodings, heat domes.Hundreds of thousands of Canadians are being impacted by climate change every year.

So more fear -mongering here.And well, he gives a very strong argument from his delusional stance.But if you think about Liberals watching this, who are they going to side with?The new pipeline guy in Mark Carney or Stephen Guilbeau, Mr. Environmentalist?This guy hasn't swayed from his stance.He's been an eco -warrior for decades now.

Well, I mean, he puts a strong argument forward.What has changed aside from Iran?I mean, nothing has changed.They put forward a climate plan and now they're not implementing it.We know full well Mark Carney put it in knowing that he would change things.He's doing things on the fly.

I would not be shocked if he's having weekly conversations with Bruce Flatt or someone else from Brookfield saying, okay, we've got an opportunity in airlines, we can potentially get rid of the CEO, bring in a friendly CEO, put in more green jet fuel, that'll boost the stocks and the sales of infinium green jet fuel.Like they're looking for openings.They're like, okay, let's go into military because there's an opportunity there.Oh, we've got this condo thing.Let'sdo that.

And clearly Stephen Gebo and these other environmentalists in the party there, I believe there's 14 of them.They're not on board.They were not invited onto the wagon.They are not a part of any of these conversations.So he doesn't know what's going on with what Carney's really doing.And the question is, does any of them have the courage to step down, stand by their morals like Steven Guibo?

What a weird statement.But I mean, stand by their morals and not support Mark Carney anymore, because he's changing what he ran on the entire platform.Now, while we're talking about military spending, we've got Mark Carney and his team refusing to give any details on how we're supposed to be getting to 4 % GDP spend on military.

It could be the next big purchase for the Canadian Armed Forces.Airbus, just one of many companies putting their hands up to try and cash in on Ottawa's massive military building.

Before we used to say, if you will, it's made for Canada.We're trying to take the next step now where it's really made in Canada and made for Canada.

A mantra many companies are using to try and catch Mark Carney's attention as Ottawa plans to meet new NATO defense spending targets.

We have moved to meet the 2 % target, as you know.We already meet the 1 .5 % target for defense resilience, defense industrial.We have a track to getting overall 4 % by the end of this decade.

There were no defense spending targets outlined in the spring economic statement or budget 2025.The finance minister's office won't say how many billions they plan to spend annually, telling Global News they're not in a position to scoop forthcoming announcements or numbers.

My first budget was the fall of 1977, went out of university, I joined finance.I've never seen a case of less transparency over a budget thing.And it seems to me it was pretty simple.Just show us the number.

While the Liberals won't show the numbers, we decided to crunch them.Canada will need to spend over $156 billion a year in 2030 to hit Carney's target of 4 % of GDP in defense spending.That's a $34 .9 billion budget.increase in annual spending from 2025 to 2030.Just that jump.more than the yearly cost of the Canada Child Benefit.

What are they hiding?What are they hiding?As Drummond said here, it's pretty simple.Show us the numbers.

I think at some point it's inescapable that we're going to have to raise taxes.I don't even know we can cut spending elsewhere enough.

And we're not the only ones asking for more details.The Parliamentary Budget Officer has sent three separate requests to the Defense Department about spending, including on NATO targets.But no details have been provided.A lack of transparency, the former PBO has called a failure.

we're making an historic reallocation, or making national defense an historic priority because of the NATO commitments.There is no spending line anywhere in this document in terms of that it's related to NATO spending.

On Monday, Carney is expected to pick if Canada will buy new submarines from either a South Korean or or German -Norwegian consortium.
