Carney Just Mocked & Impersonated Trump in Ireland

Canada is a mosaic, not a melting pot.And this is a distinction that matters.

Karni did it again.Welcome back to Moose and Loose.My name's David.Today, Karni over in Ireland in his homeland of his grandfather with a big ceremony does an impression of Donald Trump where he not only takes a jab at him, but the story he tells in his Trump voice is outrageous.We've got Mark Miller making statements on CTV.We've got Pierre Polyave with a press conference.

Let's jump into this.Starting this episode off, this one from the National Post, is the U .S.travel boycott over?More Canadians journey south of the border for the second month in a row.It says 1 .9 million Canadian residents traveled to the U .

S.in May, up 9 .5 % in the same month of 2025.I don't know if this is people going on vacation.I think this is probably Canadians looking for what state they want to move to because things are just that bad in Canada.We've got this one here.David Eby's approval rating hits historic low as dissatisfaction grows among NDP voters.

And where's he at?31%.This is great news.This is great news for all Canadians.Can't get rid of this guy soon enough.We've got Billboard Chris posting this from the back of a plane.

And we've got Justin Trudeau replying to New York Times posting that This is an absolute embarrassment.The Prime Minister and the former Prime Minister should be rooting for our own country.I wouldn't be surprised if Carney puts on an American jersey, 91 % invested and cheering for the Americans to win.Speaking of Carney, he's in Ireland in his family's historic land.Well, why is this even a thing?It says here, Carney visiting Irish town with deep family ties.

deep familiar ties.Why isn't he trying to get a deal?Well, you have a Kuzma renegotiation thing going on here, you know, kind of a big deal.And this is what he's spending his time on.

Earlier today, the prime minister visited his family's ancestral village on the Emerald Isle.Carney's grandparents lived there before immigrating to Canada in the early 1920s.All right, with more on the Prime Minister's trip and the G7, I'm joined by international affairs expert at Carleton University.In his speech in Ireland, Carney said the G7 no longer runs the world or pretends to.What does his message say to you about his view of Canada's role on the global stage?

Well, I think the message in the speech he gave in Ireland is an important one.It's that Canada is picking its team and its Team Europe, Marcia, not Team USA.I think the speech will go down.in the history books as being quite significant in terms of Canada's new alignment.We're throwing our lot in with Europe.

What has he done for Mayo?Anyways, we're gonna move on here now going back to that previous panel.He mentioned the new world order Karni trying to tie us closer to Europe I thought we were supposed to be the sovereign nation and what we see here is the juxtaposition of what he said in Chinaversus Europe.

I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership sets us up well for the new world order.That I believe that the next world order will likely be built out of Europe and Canada will be part of that effort.

Yeah, because they're on board with his net zero agenda.This is no surprise.And here he is the other day, once again, fear mongering.

Climate change is no longer a warning.It's here.Last month, as you know and you felt, Ireland experienced its hottest May on record.In Canada last year, forests larger than Ireland burned in the drought and heat.

How many water bombers have you ordered, Carney?How many?Just the number, please.These guys always fearmonger this and never provide the solution.You know, they could easily grab some of this money they're sending over to Palestine or Vanuatu, gender sensitive rice for Vietnam, any of these millions of dollars and send it over to Alberta where they build these water bombers.You'd create jobs and you'd buy water bombers to put out the fires.

Instead, what does he do?He goes to France and fearmongers, goes to Ireland and fearmongers.

Despite what you mentioned in your preamble about what you've been able to accomplish on this leg of the trip.There has been criticism from the Leader of the Opposition saying that Canada already has a trade deal with Ireland and what you're doing on this leg of the trip is not at all helping Canadian workers whose jobs are affected by tariffs from the United States.I wanted to get your response to that.

Well, we have a couple of things.We have a trade deal with Ireland but we don't have ratification.full ratification of the trade deal with Ireland.So one of the things that, and I want to commend the Taoiseach and the government for putting this in place, is that both houses of the Irish legislature have now ratified that deal.Now, ratification provides additional certainty.It provides additional mechanisms for the long term in terms of that.

That's the first.

This guy's unbelievable.He goes to Ireland to ratify this trade deal versus getting a deal with America, which is essentially life and death for our nation.You can't make this stuff up.

The second is with the status quo, maybe the leader of the opposition is, but we're not satisfied with the status quo.We see a significant opportunity with Ireland, commercial relationships with them.And I speak more in this regard with respect to the European Union than Ireland, given Ireland's neutrality, but with the European Union, to broaden our security relationships, defence and security relationships.Ireland will be president of the European Union for the next six months, starting from Canada Day.It's a crucial time in that regard.And they're putting the focus on, during that period of time, competitiveness, That means deeper commercial relationships is one aspect.

Reducing red tape is another aspect as part of that.

So you catch that Ireland will be the president of the European Union moving forward, and that's why he's probably in Ireland.And I don't know if he met with Brookfield or had anything to do with that deal, because obviously they're not going to tell us that.But basically, he needs to get Ireland on board with his net zero agenda, goes in there, fear mongers, force fires the whole business.He can't sell them net zero unless he goes there and gets this deal ratified and gets all cozy with them.That's what he's doing here.The way this guy speaks, I just think what's in his brain, he says it's enormous opportunity, but the part he's leaving out is

for myself, for his Brookfield Global Transition Fund one.He mentions Europe, this huge economy.This is an economy that he can push net zero on.All these opportunities are for himself.

The opportunity for Canada in Europe is as big as in.if not bigger than any other economy.Now, to explain.

That's a bold -faced lie.We're never going to do more trade with the European Union than America.We're literally tied to them where trucks can drive over the border.The economics of it just don't make sense.Sure, we'll trade some things by plane or by ship over to Europe, but we're just going to trade more with America because we can drive a truck across the border.He knows that.

Once again, this is just a big opportunity for his net zero.The leader of the opposition, who will try to clip that and not follow through, add this.Opportunity means what more?What more can you get?What more can we how more can we grow from where we are today?And the fact is, it can be measured in hundreds of billions of dollars of opportunity that we have not as a country fully taken advantage of.

And by deepening our relationships by making it simpler to do business in Ireland, in Europe, we create enormous opportunity for Canadian jobs.

The sad thing is Canadians are buying this stuff.I mean, America has the biggest economy on earth.We have a land border with them.That's where all of his effort should be.He should not be doing anything else aside from trying to get meetings with Donald Trump and making a deal.That's it.

The Canadians chose a corrupt Prime Minister, I mean listen to this, he tells a story about Donald Trump, does an impression of him, and listen to what he says here, I was absolutely gobsmacked when I was previewing this.

Let me tell you a brief story to put this honor in context.About a year and a half ago, a little less than that, another great leader, Gehirla, gave me a gift.And he said, Mark, this is very special.This is unique.And it's a key.It's a key to the White House.

It's a key to the White House, Mark.No one else has it.No one else has it.It's a key to the White House.And I was touched.I was touched.

I said, you know, Mr. President, what does it do?And he said, well, they'll either let you in or they'll shoot you.They'll probably shoot you.With this honor, I know that every door in Mayo will be opened at any time.So thank you.

What an insulting story.Like, what is this?This guy's supposed to be getting a deal with America.He tells this story of the key will likely get him pow powed.Like, I don't know if Trump was joking around, if that was real or not, if this is an actual story or not.That's the problem is I don't know if this is complete garbage, like he made all this up or if this was a real conversation with Trump.

Either way, he's using it to humiliate Trump, to take a shot at him, to punch down on him.What is this guy doing?This guy absolutely despises our country.This is not how you get a deal with our biggest trading partner Canada exports by country United States 73 % where's Ireland on this list does anyone know oh it's way down here 767 million dollars of trade with America 563 billion dollars we're talking what 600 times more trade with America than Ireland and this guy's going over there and crapping all over Donald Trump with this story people can say what they want about Trump the stuff he's doing right now you know the Gordie Howe bridge and all this stuff yeah it'sIt doesn't matter.This is the reality.

We have to get a deal with Trump.Trying to punch down on him when he's in Ireland doesn't get us a deal.And that's the problem, is Carney knows that.And Canadians are too clueless to figure it out.He's just trying to fear monger, stoke the bear and not make a deal.

Canada is a mosaic, not a melting pot.And this is a distinction that matters.Because a mosaic doesn't dissolve or blend its pieces.Each is stitched to each and all the pieces hold all.And the beauty is in the arrangement, not in the blending.

All right.As a zookeeper, I thought this was a great idea.So I put all my animals in the same cage so they could celebrate each other's uniqueness.It didn't work out.I'm looking for a job.

And as the kahirlock said, it's great to be back home.It's great for me to be back home.

Where does Carney pay his taxes?Ireland?Dubai?America?I doubt it's Canada.I mean, he's helping Brookfield dodge five to six billion dollars in taxes.

Where does he pay his taxes?Or does he even pay his taxes?Meanwhile, we've got Pierre Poliav announcing that he would remove taxes on used vehicles.That's right.A real thing that would help Canadians.

And that's why Conservatives are announcing MP Andrew Lawton's bill to scrap the sales tax on used cars altogether.The principle is that the GST should only apply once.Once at the final sale and never again.Scrapping the tax on used cars will save you $1 ,835 on the average used vehicle.Or take this beautiful truck behind me.You would save $3 ,800 on this used vehicle if you purchased it with the conservative tax cut.

We will also urge provinces to eliminate their share of the HST on vehicles that have already been sold.

This is such a great idea.The fact that they can tax a used item over and over and over again isabsolutely preposterous.Meanwhile, what's Carney up to?He's planting a tree.I was waiting for him to tell Diana to shovel that dirt in there.

It looked like he was about to tell her to.This guy cancelled the 2 billion trees program and here he is planting his first tree in Ireland.You can't make this stuff up.Jumping over to CTV they've got Mark Miller on here talking about his new Bill C -34.

The reality is the funds that we would have deployed into the industries that need it are frozen in court cases and we need to get that actually into the hands of those companies that do create great Canadian content.So the announcement of $600 million per year reflects a realism that I respect.And my job is to get that out into the industry in the coming months, including independent journalism that needs the support of the Canadian government so that Canadians can get good information that's reliable.

You hear that?So Canadians can get good information that's reliable.OK, sure.

That isn't a permanent solution.And again, I understand your framing of this is kind of technical, but it's something bigger than that.I don't know and never has your government said we're going to decide to do what the Americans want it on.this when it comes to the DST or when it comes to this, and here's what we're getting in return.In fact, all we see is the president say, three days after we learned in the Globe and Mail that that directive will be issued, that he doesn't want to renew CUSMA.So, like, what are we getting?

in return for, again, something that goes against everything that your government has said you're going to do on behalf of Canadians?

Well, again, these are issues that are properly negotiated around the table in a confidential way.manner with the U .S.They may choose to speak publicly on it, but I think as Canadians and Canadians would expect me to stay disciplined.Vashti, certainly, as I'm not personally around that table, I'm aware of what's going on.But if we want to advance our interests, I think we have to do it in a disciplined way and that's what I'm doing.

But what does that mean?Like, again, I'm not, I'm not asking you to tell me everything about what's happening with the negotiations, but we can objectively ascertain that your government has taken a decision.

That's fine.I'm not going to tell you anything.What a guy.

That definitely advantages American companies over Canadian companies.

Quebec culture industry has had a nuanced approach.I won't sugarcoat it, but it has been nuanced.It hasn't been categorical in its response to this.I think they realize also that there's a very practical approach this government is taking.There's a difference between the principle, which is supporting cultural content and Canadian content, making sure we're getting good Canadian shows and supporting them.But there's also a difference of who funds that.

order or directive that I have to give to the CRTC.So they're in a disadvantage, but the reality is we will always stand as a principled matter behind the production of Canadian culture.

That's false.They're not standing behind anyone except whoever will say nice things about them.Mark Nixon nails it here.Is this really about protecting kids or removing anonymity?That's what it is.They want to protect kids.
