Well, Mr. Carney has some questions to answer.How is it that this individual was not captured in the vetting process originally, but that other countries and governments were able to have the intelligence to find this troubling information?You know, why is it that we keep learning about national security threats to our country from foreign governments?You know, after a year of Mark Carney, our country is becoming a playground for foreign interference and international crime and terrorism, and he has failed to do the job of protecting our country from that interference and those other risks.I think he has a lot of explaining to do how we didn't, how his government failed to vet this individual in a way that our NATO partners were able to do.I would just point to other examples though, you know, we have the IRGC related group, Kataib Hezbollah, which has now been named in U .

S.court filings by the FBI as having been involved in two shootings in Canada, another 14 in the United States of America, and somehow Mr. Carney refuses to ban this terrorist organization.They're able to operate with impunity on Canadian soil, harassing our Persian and Jewish communities, and threatening all of us.Now it's time for Mark Carney to stop with the illusions and start taking real action to keep our country safe from foreign threats on our soil.

Well, Toronto police have made over 500 arrests in a series of retail theft investigations.It comes two years after the force launched a unit dedicated to cracking down on retail crime.Let's go now to our Megan King at Toronto Police Headquarters.Megan, what can you tell us about what we heard from police?

Absolutely.Good afternoon, Jayden.Toronto Police announcing the results of its ongoing effort to combat organized retail crime in 23 Division since establishing a dedicated organized retail crime unit nearly a year ago.years ago, they have arrested more than 500 people and laid over 4000 charges in relation to these crimes.Their hope is to address these instances to reduce broader criminal activity in the city and increase community trust and safety.

The other side for retailers is protecting themselves.Hardening, targeted hardening themselves to protect against theft, to protect against violence, break and enters and things of those natures.So the investments retailers are now having to make either to have additional staff, security guards, put in additional devices.Those are all big investments and organizations are taking their profits to do that.Smaller organizations have to deal with at what point Is it no longer profitable or can I not make money in combating retail crime?
