baby a friday morning chug yes today is going to be a spectacular day i just made us breakfast look at this i thought about this as i was going to bed last night i did an ebc or an egg bacon cheese on a courage bagel I think this one is the onion bagel.Cal got the plain.Oh wow, look at that.We did white American cheese.It looks gorgeous.Turkey bacon.

Just stuff we had in the fridge.Shall we give it a taste test, my love?Here we go.All right, let's bite it, love.I did the egg over hard, because I feel like that's good for a bagel sandwich so it's not too messy.

Whoa.Mm -hmm.I'm getting a sauce.

I was just gonna say do you think it needs a sauce?It's a little dry.I could make like a spicy mayo on it.You want that?A little moisture if you will.Ooh, which one are you doing, baby?

I thought about adding a sauce earlier, but I feel like in New York they don't do sauce, right?They just put so much cheese though.I don't want to do too much cheese at home.With that, let's eat breakfast and I'll chat with you in a minute.Oh, also I made a hot matcha latte.I made a hot matcha latte and I didn't realize I wasn't paying attention and when I frothed my milk I put it on the cold setting not the hot setting so that I took a sip I was like wait, this is cold, but I had already mixed it So I threw the whole matcha latte back into the frother on the hot setting and now I've got like matcha froth Honestly, I might start making my hot matcha lattes like this is good I feel like I cracked a coat.

Hi guys, okay, finished breakfast.I just started packing all of my things for today because we have a very busy, exciting day.First off, I'm packing and we are going to the Pretty Basic studio.I'm going to do my hair and makeup at the studio.So I packed everything to go.And then after we record our couple episodes, we are going to a very exciting event tonight with Redkin, because they are sponsoring a party with the cast of Hopkins.

I'm so excited.I can't wait to see them in real life.I am going to freak out, but that also means I need to pack a lot of different clothes.So I've got my outfits for the pod.I think I'm just going to wear a couple of dresses today.I actually was thinking of maybe wearing this to the event tonight.

This is the dress that I showed more recently from White Fox.I think it's so sexy and so cute.I'm going to feel it out later and see what I'm feeling like wearing to the event.Potentially, I might wear this.Either I'm going to wear it for the episode or I'll wear it for the event, but it's so cute.We will see.

is like cocktail.We also have dinner tonight with Radkin before we go to the event.So it's just gonna be a jam packed, really exciting, fun day.But I need to make sure I have all my things.Part of me is like maybe I'll also wear, I've had this dress for years and years.It's so cute for like the cocktail attire.

And I have these matching brown pumps.I also really wanted to wear the bag that Cal got me for our anniversary.But I feel like the brown tones, like these are more like a reddish brown and this is more like a chocolatey brown if you can see.I feel like the tones don't super go together, but it is brown.see this one's like a little bit more cool tone this one's a little more warm tone like thesethese match perfectly though.

So then I was like, okay, well what goes well with brown?Pink goes well with brown.So I was like, that could be kind of cute, but that also kind of like really makes it more youthful versus like, you know, mature and sexy.I'm not sure.I'm just going to pack a bunch of stuff and we'll figure it out later.So with that, let's go.

We do have some new together And while I do this, I will recap you guys the weekend and just what's been going on.Okay.First off, I got the new road highlight milk, which I'm so excited to try.I wasn't sure if I was shade two or shade three.I have not been out in the sun a lot lately.So I think I might be shade two, but I also love a little bronzy glow.

So that's why I wanted to try shade three I think I'm just gonna go for three today.The packaging is very nice.By the way.I like the normal glazing milk.Ooh So pretty it's cute.Okay, I want to try this I think I'll just probably put a little bit onto my hand and then try that.

I love the packaging Okay, here we go a little bit of this.We'll see if that's good.Oh I think I'll need a little more.Oh my god, by the way, I'm definitely in my luteal phase I keep looking myself in the mirror.I'm like hi ugly troll It's hitting me hard this cycle.Wait, really nice sheen.

That's really pretty.Wow I actually feel like that was the perfect shade for me where it brought a little color back to my face since I had the white sunscreen on I think I love it.Wow.Okay.I'm trying that then we're gonna go on with our normal Makeup routine and I have the pocket bronze.I want to try that too.

But first you need to do foundation really pretty.I like that a lot.I definitely I'm gonna get greasy so I need to go in with my primer if you're an oily girl this is the best thing ever I just put it right here in my t -zone and itwhen she had the time and i was like you don't get it like once you start watching you're gonna freak out and so she ended up watching it the next day she loved it and she was like oh my god my close personal friends that i played beer pong with it was amazing obviously i could not look them in the eye and i stood there feeling like really weird the whole night because i was like freaking out so much and i just don't do well with like famous people i always just like fangirl way too hard so i stood there and i didn't say a single word to them but from what i could see they seemed very nice and it was just like most iconic thing and like so alicia marie to just be like so cool and like funny also i just like don't know how these things happen to us like it's really so crazy but the event was so much fun over the weekend we had like a pretty chill weekend just kind of hung out hung out by the pool my parents came out we did like a little late father's day celebration and took them to dinner went and recorded BU and then started the work week as usual i didn't really grab the vlog camera because honestly i was taking a little bit of a break this weekend and there was not a ton going on but i do have big drum roll please and again I love the way that this layers on top of the highlighting milk.I feel like it looks really nice and healthy underneath.I'm so excited you guys.

I am an aunt to another little boy and his name is Archer and he's absolutely perfect.He's so sweet and so cute and such a good baby and I love him so much already and I'm just so excited.I cannot believe my best friend had a baby, something that we've been talking about since like the day that we met, essentially.It's crazy.And she did such an amazing job.And Phil is being such an amazing husband and helping out.

And I'm just so excited for them.And the reason I'm telling you this is because today we are doing something very special for them.We are going to cook them meals.If you guys remember, Ms. Twee had a baby last year and I made her some meals because obviously when you're postpartum, especially in the very beginning, it's exhausting.Not that I've gone through it yet, but I can only imagine how exhausting it is.And your body's going through so many changes, your hormones, you're not sleeping, there's just so much that goes into it.

And so, as a friend, I want to obviously help out as much as I can, alleviate as much stress and tiredness as I can.And so, obviously, I love cooking, and I feel like that's a really good way that I can show up for the people that I love in my life, is making them laugh.home cooked meals that they can enjoy when they have a little time for themselves to eat and to just like decompress, which I know again, in the early stages, the time is very far and few, but it's something that I want to do.And so today we're going to go shopping.I've already planned out all the meals.I tried to plan out meals that were like kind of easy, a little bit healthier, but also meals that involve foods that are really helpful for milk production, because that's something that she wants to focus on right now.

I'm so excited.I'll take you guys along with me on the journey I think what we're gonna do is we're gonna go shopping together on the vlog and then I'm gonna make the food and I think I'm going to make a video for my main channel because I have not posted on my main channel since our Wedding video and before then I think was maybe like the wedding Q &A So basically I haven't been on that channel at all in the past like year or so, which is crazy Honestly, I just wasn't feeling super inspired by the content that I was making on there And I wanted a little bit of a break.Obviously we were moving so much was happening.So I'm feeling re -inspired and I want to start making content on there again, and I thought that would be a really fun video to do.Obviously, we're making the food today, and I'm going to try to do it as frequently as I can for her.Again, especially

this early time of being a new mom and a new dad.Okay, now we're gonna try the Pocket Bronze in the shade Bake.This little packaging is adorable.I don't know if this is my shade.We're just gonna go in and try.It looks good actually.

Usually I've been using the Westman Atelier in the shade Truffle, which is definitely more cool toned.Like this is a contour stick.This is a bronzer stick for sure.Very creamy.I just went all in on the first time.Very creamy.

Kind of easy to work with though.All right, let's try blending her.Oh, it blends like a dream.Wow, that was really, really, really easy.Very smooth.I'm very curious though about the lasting power because I love the road, Blushes the only problem is I feel like they don't wear very long throughout the day So I'm so curious if this also might not wear the best throughout the day because of how creamy it is Maybe or just I don't know if it's maybe the ingredients.

It's gorgeous though.I love the way that it blends out I love the color wait, that's so pretty But we will see I'm curious if and I said everything with powder obviously, especially being an oily girl I'm just curious if maybe the pigment will wear off throughout the day that is so pretty though kind of carve it back out and then for I guess we'll do road because we're doing a whole road face today.As I said, I love the road pocket blush My favorite shade is tan line.I wear the shade throughout the entire year, but especially for summer It's so pretty one more thing that I wanted to touch on really quickly Which it's something that I feel like I've talked about on the podcast something that I talked about on the vlog before But it's also something that I try to live my life by which a big question that I get and have gotten throughout my entire Life is how do you have so many friends?First off?I can be an extrovert.

Sometimes I like to be home and be quiet I am a Taurus moon, but when I'm alone in the mood.I love to go out.I love to make friends.I love to be an extrovert.Oh shoot.I forgot.

I wanted to try the new brush that I got too.Ollie said this is really good, but I completely forgot about it.We'll try this next time.Yes.I love making friends.I love being social and I love maintaining my friendships as well, but that takes

a lot of work.That takes communication.That takes showing up for people and something that I've tried to live my life by is you cannot have a village if you're not willing to be a villager.And by that I mean like you can't expect people to show up for you if you don't show up for them.And not that I do anything for anybody in my life because I expect anything in return because also that's not healthy at all.And that's something that I kind of learned when I was younger.

Also the things that I do for my friends, I do because I want to do and because I love them and I want to support them and I want to show up for them and I just appreciate their friendship and I'm not expecting my friends to do the exact same things that I do for them.Like because I'm cooking K meals, I'm not expecting K to cook me meals one day, but I know that in times of my life where I need friends and family to show up for me, they do, but they'll do it in the ways where they feel like they can shine the best if that makes sense.So for me again, I feel like it's obviously cooking.Sometimes it's other ways.I just feel like sometimes people expect a lot out of their friends, but they're not willing to show up for them in the same way.So again, I just think about this a lot.

Like you cannot expect people to show up for you if you won't show up for them.And I think that's a really important thing to remember, especially just in friendships.And also if you feel like you're being taken advantage of friendships and you feel like maybe they're not showing up for you in any sort of way when you're trying to show up for them, then maybe it's a good time to reevaluate your friendships.I will say also though, mental health that comes into play.Sometimes people aren't just physically not able to show up for you when you need them, but then that's where community comes in.Communication comes into play to where you need to be able to communicate through everything and you know Either tell them why you feel hurt or they need to come to you and be like I really want to show up for you and like I understand I just physically cannot right now and that's where you have to have those conversations But that's definitely something that I've learned in my age now But I can truly say that every person in my life that I show up for shows up for me in just the same amount But in different ways Oh also by the way That's definitely crooked.

I've been looking at it when I'm editing like that's crooked I gotta fix that if I'm being really honest though, and this just comes with life obviouslyand experience and Relationships and things like that It took me into my late 20s to understand the part about people showing up in different ways Because in my like early to mid 20s, I was like, well, I'm doing this Why aren't these people doing this back for me and I had to experience life and I had to experience Relationships and I had to experience just you know normal things that everybody goes through to understand like oh wait Just because they don't show up for me and this exists exact way.It doesn't mean that they don't love me the same.It doesn't mean that they don't care about me.Everybody's completely different, but they show up for me in other ways.It doesn't need to be exactly the same.

I hope that advice maybe helps anybody if you're watching.Again, I feel like that's just a lesson that you learn as you get older.I'm trying to find my eyeshadow brushes.Oh, I think they're down here.So that's my little friendship advice of the day.Show up for people in the ways that you can.

They're smaller now, but honestly, I wonder if the actual like recipe changed too, but I'm gonna try them out and see.I'm also going to meal prep for Cal and I also this week because if I'm buying all the ingredients and making the mess in the kitchen, I'm just gonna make the same stuff for us too.So, also it's the best time at Costco.

It's summer so they've got the inflatablesinside.

And my favorite, these were my favorite growing up.They're so good.

I saw a girl on TikTok say that Dr. Pepper was like the number one thing for her milk production, so I'm getting K some of that.And for me, I found this Hawaiian soda coat.It's passion orange guava or pog flavored and lilikoi lychee.So that's passionfruit lychee.Yes for me.

If there's one thing that I'm gonna get for Kaylee, it's bacon.Gotta restock my butter.

Next up, this is a staple from my childhood that my mom would get here all the time.It's not as good obviously as like fresh, fresh, fresh, but it's like right under that, the flour tortillas that you cook at home.I made these for Thuy when I made her fajitas and she literally called me and was like, what are those?They're so good.I was like, They're amazing.

They have Lay's thin slice.

Oh, they're lime flavored taro chips.Oh, I'm trying these.I've been needing a ranch seasoning restock since we moved.And also, Kay loves ranch.

Maybe I'll make her like a protein ranch.

And we need an avocado oil spray restock.I love this one because it's like about 15 bucks, so it ends up being about like $7 .50 for like a giant one, which I feel like is a good deal, especially for 100 % pure avocado oil.Last but not least, we just need some regular organic honey.I'm gonna grab this one.It really is or luna daisy momo All right, we got it all on their spots go to your spot.Okay.

I don't need a vanilla caramel teasundae.My finger slipped.No, but Ollie's getting a cheese slice.Hi guys, it's like almost seven hours later, I think.We've been non -stop cooking.

My feet are killing me, but we've been crushing it.We are currently cooking.These are hash browns in the bacon grease.I know that Kay is gonna love this.I'm gonna put these in the breakfast burritos.We've got the tortillas that I'm cooking up here, and we've got shrimp in the fridge.

We already cooked like a garlic butter shrimp, fajita veggies.We also made, I'm like, I can't even remember what we've been doing so much.We're up to nine.Nine hours, wow.

Yeah, my feet are killing you guys.

Oh, we did this like an egg souffle to put inside the breakfast burritos.We've got bacon There's other stuff in the fridge already chilling I forget but one thing that I want to show you that I'm really proud of is we made baked potatoes I'm slicing them down the middle I'm placing a half in each of the containers, and then, if you follow me this way, we made, from scratch, homemade turkey chili that's delicious, that I'm also gonna freeze, and we're gonna have it on a cold night, and you just put like a scoop on top, and then, over here, you do a little, or a lot, of cheese on top, and then you let it melt, and it's like the perfect, quick, little pre -made meal.It's got protein, carbs, fat, all the things someone wants some.

It's delicious.Melted cheese.

Okay, guys, I am making our burritos.The dog's all day.

I know, I know, I'm sorry.You can't have any.

Look at this, though.The egg souffle made it super easy.Like, I did a pan, cheese, potatoes, bacon.Super quick and easy.These tortillas, I love the ones from Costco.The only thing is they're like a little small.

I still think it's like a good size, though, especially for like, you know, if you're not super hungry in the mornings.

Especially for a breakfast burrito.Yeah.

And then we're rolling them up and thenthem and then I'm gonna freeze them and what's great is they're obviously gonna last longer in the freezer and for the drive down it'll kind of act as like an ice cube for the the cooler which is great.All right so we're just rolling these up.Ollie just left because it was like the end of the work day and I highly highly uh underestimated how long this was all gonna take.Now I still need to do the chicken which has been marinated.I'm gonna cook the chicken which I was gonna do the h mark chicken but the marinade sat too long on the chicken and made it rubbery so we marinated our own chicken today.

So we're gonna do that.I need to cook that.I need to cook the steak.I need to make the overnight oats, which is really quick.That only takes maybe 10 minutes or so.Overnight oats.

I need to also make the little protein bites.I'm making like little protein peanut butter bites that are good for lactation.I'm also going to do the peanut butter stuffed dates, which I'm gonna make extra for us, of course, because we love them.I'm doing some veggies for one of the dishes.So that's really quick and easy.And I think that might be it.

So not too much more, but I probably have like like another couple hours of cooking or so, but it's looking good.I mean, look at those potatoes.We got to put the lids on and then put them in the fridge, but looking good.I think they're going to be very happy.Hi guys.It's 9 PM.

We're still going.I just finished all of the like savory foods.And then the last things I need to do are the overnight oats.The air purifier thing is going crazy and all the windows are open because I grilled all the chicken and it made it so smoky in here, but the chicken tastes really good.I need to do the overnight oats.I need to do the peanut butter dates and then also the peanut butter Lactation ball things like protein balls, which honestly all are like no bake.

They all will be really easy I saved them for the end to make my life a little easier.I am pretty tired I severely underestimated how long this was gonna take I don't know how or why but honestly like actually like my mentals fine and like I'm physically for the most part Okay, it's my feet that really hurt, but I've got my like cushy house slippers on I put these onafter like quite a few hours and I wish I had started with them, but all is well.I'm gonna make the peanut butter balls first.Technically they are like a lactation cookie recipe, but I'm gonna make extra for Cal and I because we love peanut butter and protein and little energy balls.So if we start lactating, that's on the cookie.

Okay, I'll keep you updated.Okay, about 45 minutes later, we finished.I ended up tripling the recipe which is also why things are taking so much longer as I keep like doubling tripling recipes to make enough for Everybody but I made a double recipe here for Kay and Phil and then I made a single recipe here Well, actually Cal was very helpful.Thank you Cal so helpful today.He is just the best ever and we made a single wow my brain is fried single dose batch oh my god my brain cannot anymore single batch for us double batch for them and now i'm gonna make the day all right about 30 minutes minutes later it's now 10 15 we have our dates done everything's going in the fridge and with that I'm going to bed I hope you guys enjoyed the vlog thank you so much for watching kay Phil we love you so much baby Archer we love you and I need to go to bed because I need to deliver all this down to San Diego tomorrow
