Danny Kanell says he feels bad for Vanderbilt, Texas and Notre Dame for being left out of the #cfp

Like when we look at both of these group of five teams, I not only think of a team like Duke, who I would not sit up here and advocate for Duke, like I don't feel bad for them at all. They're seven and five, eight and five now as a conference champion. The teams I feel bad for are Vanderbilt, Texas, Notre Dame, teams that are very clear, clearly better than either one of these group of five teams. And they're sitting at home, and I would have to think that their athletic directors, their conference commissioners, I know Greg Sankey, will be pounding the table to say,

what are we doing with these teams that really don't have any chance of winning, I don't think winning a game, but zero chance of winning a national championship. but zero chance of winning a national championship. Why are we wasting spots in the college football playoff with those teams?
