And so then you had a sudden and massive stock market crash, as everyone began pulling out of the stock marketing euphoria mode, and I'm He decided that... the AI bubble does look a lot like that too.You can see companies brute forcing AI into their business operations because everyone else is doing it.Economists and industry experts have also argued that the AI boom is sustained by NVIDIA artificially spurring demand for their products by heavily investing in their biggest competitors, you know, tech companies like Microsoft, Google, OpenAI.That creates a self -reinforcing circular ecosystem where money is spawned out of thin air and recirculated amongst the same group of companies in the AI game.The danger behind this deal is that if it is clear that AI will not deliver the economic benefit that it has promised, this entire ecosystem underpinning the AI boom will collapse.There might be signs that that is the case.

OpenAI is hemorrhaging billions of dollars since it really doesn't have a strategy to be profitable other than hoping that investors will keep investing in it.Meta is shedding jobs after its AI expenditure ballooned to $145 billion, and Anthropic's marketing strategy of claiming its latest AI model is too powerful ended up forcing the US government to direct them to stop making those models available for foreigners.So yeah, I'm sure all the doom and gloom about AI is somewhat accurate.But that's only if you're looking at it from the short term.Despite the dot -com bubble, the internet changed our lives.You don't agree with me.
