moment in our generation if we don't send a message in our next election if you don't register to vote.If you don't get involved, if you don't become activists, we are going to lose our country forever.

Here's the thing about political elites with massive egos. They love the performance of competence, the speeches, the press conferences, the summits, all of the constant reminders about how awesome they are.But when those accomplishments are mostly just headlines and press releases, because you got to talk a big talk, because you can't walk the walk.Eventually, reality does indeed humiliate the performance, and that is what just happened.I'm Jasmine Lane.Like, share, subscribe, and comment your thoughts down below.

Hype this video if you have any left. There are a lot of headlines to break down and fact check today, which we will be doing. But honestly, judging by what's happening, the rhetoric, and the very disconnected reality, I genuinely don't think think that the elbows up faintest idea of what is States has announced it i military board with Cana has failed to meet its mi and that the United Stat how this form benefits s Press releases and gloating has a lot of consequences when those get to the ear of somebody who is calling your bluff, right? As reported by CTV News and the Canadian press, the US has paused their military defense board with Canada.A board, by the way, that has existed since the 1940s.It has survived World Wars, the Cold War, 9 -11, Afghanistan, Iraq, and every political disagreement in between, of which there have been plenty.

1:52

And Washington has now announced that that they are freezing it.The most important line in this entire story, though, is the U .S.Undersecretary of Defense said Canada has failed to make credible progress on its defense commitments, which is diplomatic language for we don't trust your rhetoric anymore.

2:13

Undersecretary of War Elbridge Colby said, quote, Unfortunately, Canada has failed to make credible progress progress on its defense commitments.D .O .W.

2:24

Department of War is pausing the permanent joint board on defense to reassess how this form benefits shared North American defense.by recognizing our shared geography.Only by investing in our own defense capabilities will Americans and Canadians be safe, secure, and prosperous. You know those moments where somebody is telling you something and the way that they go about explaining it gives you that aha moment where all of the puzzle pieces click together, even though you knew each individual puzzle piece. They just weren't all on the same board yet until you had it explained to you in the way that it was.I've recently had this moment as it pertains to exactly this topic, and I want to share with you what I have learned.

3:27

But first, Michael Gendron, Gendron, I don't know, says there will always be another benchmark with this administration. It was about securing the border from Aftonal until it wasn't.It was about 2 % defense spending until it wasn't.It'll be about something else until it isn't.Ignore the noise, focus on the signal.

3:50

Secretary of War's announcement yesterday, they're pausing participation in this National Defence Board. To your knowledge, when was the last time Canadian and American officials at this board met?And how dramatic do you think this pause could be on mutual defence cooperation between the two countries?

4:08

Well, first thing, the last time to my knowledge is the end of 2024.So it hasn't met, it's supposed to meet biannually, but it hasn't met since then.I wouldn't overplay, I mean, it has a long heritage, but I wouldn't overplay the importance of this.We have many aspects of very close defense cooperation with the United States, as you know, our closest defense cooperation.I'll give you the example of NORAD and also put this in context of enormous investments that we're making in NORAD, over $40 billion that we're making in NORAD.

4:49

Just a reminder that Mark Carney did not announce a brand new $40 billion to NORAD.What he did do was re -announce, re -commit, and also accelerate.some commitments of a $38 .6 billion to NORAD, which was made by the Trudeau administration back in 2022.

5:10

Kevin Page had said yesterday about how it's indefensible that Ottawa is not laying out its path to achieving the 2035 NATO spending targets.

5:20

Well, there's a couple, sure. The first is, let's be absolutely clear about what those spending targets are.I was there, we agreed, all the leaders of NATO countries agreed last June. The first was to get to 2 % this year.Canada did it.

5:37

As for the 2 % target, I really do feel like that is more up to personal interpretation because NATO actually does accept this, but maybe it doesn't look the bestwhen reaching that target also included military pay and benefits that were increased as well as for veterans and things like that as well, including the Coast Guard, which is largely an unarmed civilian force. But NATO does accept that as meeting the 2 % target, right?I do think that critics though, it's rightfully so to criticize this, because raw spending percentages does not equal The Pentagon references a speech by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the World Economic Forum in January.

6:32

In that speech, Carney criticized the U .S.and asked middle powers to band together.

6:39

and symbolism is incredibly important in geopolitics. And while I understand from a communication standpoint why Mark Carney would try to dismiss it, oh, well, you know, just it's not even that important anyway. So, you know, don't think about that too much.We haven't even met since 2024.Of course, he's going to do that strategically because he wants the public to think it's not a big deal before they actually really have it resonate what this means long term, the actual implications of it, what it means about our relationship with America. He's buying time, right?

7:09

And the political optics, I would argue, with his entire regime, Mark Carney's and even Justin Trudeau's, have been some of the most damaging things to Canada and our relationship with the US as a whole.Because from Washington's perspective, the risk of overly minimizing may actually reinforce their criticism, right, that Canada still does not fully grasp how seriously the Americans are now viewing hard power, defense readiness, Arctic security threats.China.

7:46

Prime Minister pivoted into a strategic partnership with a country that only runs trade surpluses. And then they signed what I believe is still a secret MOU with the Ministry of Public Security, the MPS, China's MPS.The purpose of the MPS is to hunt the Chinese diaspora in your country, in our country. They ran what's called Operation Fox Hunt.American Olympic gold medalist Elisa Liu was one of the victims of Operation Fox Hunt. They were tracking her father because her father had been a leader in the Tiananmen times before he fled the country.

8:33

And I really do think that if you're looking at the signal, and you know, to be fair, Donald Trump did go to China very recently, where by all accounts, it was a fine meeting between the two. They do seem to have, Xi Jinping and Trump seem to have a decent diplomatic relationship with each other. But Donald Trump still has always maintained that China is an adversary first and a trading partner second. They recognize that. There are teams in America that are actively working on getting rid of Chinese spyware. In fact, some of those teams have even sent notices to Canadian businesses saying, you need to replace all of your security cameras because you got them from China and they have spyware in them right now.

9:19

You will never hear the media talk about that, though. When we talk about signals, you think about eftanol crossing into the border. How does eftanol get made?Where do those precursors come from?Oh, right, China.Defend your borders.

9:38

Arctic security. What are our threats when it comes to the Arctic?Do you want to know the only countries that are talking about using that strategically? It's China and Russia. So yes, there's a lot of things when it comes to the various reasons and pressure points applied by the American administration that seem confusing and it's just always something new.But when you zoom out, a lot of these seemingly disconnected pressure points do converge around the exact same topic.

10:09

China's role inside of North American security, supply chains and strategic vulnerability. And for the record, that is hardly just an American problem.I have been over the last couple of days posting interviews because I've been traveling, and I have been traveling meeting with business owners, manufacturers, meeting with Americans, meeting with every single person that I possibly can to get a better understanding of this. And I will tell you a little piece of information. We had meetings at an event that I was at where it was a ton of different business owners and manufacturers in Canada, everybody from the little guys to some of the bigger guys. And, you know, people who are in agriculture and people who are in steel and aluminum, all of these things.

10:52

And do you want to know something that absolutely shocked me that was an aha moment, everything clicks together now.It was hearing these business owners, these manufacturers discussing the incredible role that nobody in Canada knows about because nobody talks about it, that China has had in wiping out their industries. And I, you know, I had gone into these meetings fully anticipating that I would be hearing a lot about Trump tariffs and how bad they are on our sectors. But I actually, I was sitting on stage and I was talking with some people, this is after some of the meetings, we had a dinner, and there's about 250 people there. And I asked the crowd, who here would say that China is a greater threat to Canada?than Trump's administration as a whole, specifically the tariffs?

11:39

And I would say about 85 % of the audience raised their hands. That's really significant. And nobody is talking about it.So you can go and call Trump as kooky as you want. But the reality is that Canada's rhetoric does not match reality. We are simultaneously signing strategic partnerships with China, allowing their vehicles that are proven to have spyware in them into our system for what?

12:06

We're not increasing our trade with China. They are an export driven economy. They do not import really anything.Canada is not winning in that situation minus the tariffs that were placed on us strategically to cripple our industries. They're stealing our patents, they're spying on us, and they're undercutting our businesses and making them go under.because that's their long game.

12:31

They don't care about not being able to make an income over the next 10 years. If they can undercut your products and sell it at a cheaper rate and blow you out of business, well, in 20 years, who's the only people who manufacture those things now?China.

12:47

In fact, what we did is we strengthened the industrial carbon price. If we look at where we were at in November, When we signed the initial MOU, the credit price in Alberta was trading around $20, which is way lower than what the headline price was. What we've set up today is actually an effective industrial carbon price.that is about six times stronger than that. And if you go even further than that, what the Prime Minister described is there's skin in the game for this. There are actually financial mechanisms that are backed by Alberta and by the federal government to make sure that we actually do have a guarantee that the price is as it is stated in the agreement.

13:27

And I think that there is a pattern here that's veryimportant, which is that there are a select few of Western leaders who are all doing the same things to their countries. The data is unignorable.

13:38

And I must admit, I'm a little exhausted.I would assume you're so even more, Minister Giroux, about litigating the carbon tax.So I'm not here to play games.I'm just going to say it like it is.So if you just take the fiscal impact, it's 8 out of 10 Canadians are better. And they can quote me and they can put that on there.

14:03

But the reality is, the truth of that, is that once you include the economic impact, 6 out of 10 Canadians are worse off.Is that not correct, Mr. Drew?

14:13

When we include the economic impact of the fuel charge and the output -based pricing system, it's true that the majority of households are worse off, and we are in the process of updating our analysis to try to isolate the impact of the fuel charge itself.

14:33

While pushing net zero, the green transition, climate change, decarbonization, China directly benefits from net zero systems because they dominate an enormous portion of the green transition supply chain.EVs, solar panels, windmills, battery production, critical minerals refining, all of that stuff, China.Right? So when Western countries are aggressively pushing, mandating, forcing their markets into electrification, EV mandates, decarbonization, carbon pricing, and most importantly, restrictions on their own domestic fossil fuel production, and other industries that give them sovereignty, prosperity, leverage, because of the emissions that theyemit.I think it is fair to critique the fact that this all relates to a weakened economy domestically, weakened leverage domestically, and an over reliance or increased dependence on Chinese controlled supply chains.

15:48

I'm hypothesizing here to make this very clear.that Western governments, who are all a part of this same little cabal, have almost pursued decarbonization in a way that is transferring power and strategic leverage to China. And I think that that's a fair debate to have. The Western landscape has changed so much based on a handful of leaders who have been elected. And they all run on the exact same promise.

16:20

I see one is this idea of the intelligent bureaucrat knowing more than the average person and that the average person is somehow stupid. They're ignorant. So like we, the central planners can plan this better. And then also taking away people's property rights in the name of a greater cause. So socialism, we all know, is to get to equality and climate change is to save the planet. But they end up being acted out in very similar ways.

16:47

You need more bloated bureaucratic government. You're always going to prevent some or you're always trying to reach a utopia, right? It's like in 10 years, it'll be a green utopia.Just we're going to tax you a little more. You're going to give up some of your freedoms. But in 10 years, it's going to be utopia.

17:02

So there's a lot of ideological overlap. And I think, again, You can't be understated how un -inoculated the West is from this.Young people were not educated properly on communism, socialism in America at all. We're taught a lot about World War II and Hitler.and stuff like that, but I never even learned about the destructiveness of communism and socialism when I was in school and only have had to educate myself later. And so I think I do see the climate movement as sort of the next iteration of that same ideology.

It's about control, but in the name of greater good.

17:39

So as far as I see it, if my hypothetical is true, This has actually all been everything about Trump tariffs and Trump administration and how they've been.Everything has been about China and it's been about upholding Western democratic values. And if your nation changes based on the leadership, don't act surprised when those who still have the same values that you once held start treating you differently.Elections matter a lot.

18:10

Sets us up well for the new world order.

18:17

We have an election. We're not asking anyone to go out and fight. But this is the most important moment in our generation. If we don't send a message in our next election, if you don't register to vote, if you don't get involved, if you don't become activists, we are going to lose our country forever.Apathy has led to a government like Keir Starmer. He was elected off 9 million votes.

18:47

20 million of us didn't vote.If we stood up and said how we thought of the ballot box, we wouldn't have had open borders.I'm not going to tell you which political party you need to join. We're a cultural movement.I'm going to tell you that you have to join a political party.I don't care if it's Reform, if it's Advance, or it's Restore, or it's a Conservative party.

19:09

We have to locally get involved in politics. We can beat that fromballot box, but we have to wake up the 50 % that don't vote. The labels, do you know Kia Starmer's video yesterday? He still thinks we're five years ago, because that worked five years ago, Kia.The scaremongering, the racist label, the fearmongering, the far right, it doesn't work anymore, does it, people?

19:39

That is some footage from the march that took place in the UK.And I do think that there is something to be said for this ideology that has taken over Western left -leaning governments and citizens en masse, and how the reality and the rhetoric are so disconnected.

20:02

I've seen Democrats on TV for the past week scream, Elon Musk, Elon Musk, Musk, Musk, Musk, Musk, Musk. It's been quite invigorating, actually.I really enjoyed it.And what's funny about it to me is that you're mad at the guy that found the fraud.but not mad at the people that wasted your money.

20:21

It really is bizarre to see the way in which anger is so misdirected. It's nonsensical. You know, we have situations where there's millions, billions, trillions of wasted taxpayer dollars and this endless government fraud, bloated bureaucracies that are bleeding money. And people don't get furious about that.they get furious about the people shining a light on it.And Representative Wesley Hunt nailed that in that clip that we just played.

20:54

Because people are so much angrier at those uncovering the truth than the reality of the truth itself. It's not rational. It's very emotional. It's very tribal. And I do think that it's also what happens whenyour side becomes more important than protecting the truth or even your own wallet.

21:17

And this seems to be an incredibly consistent pattern with the left, right?Whereas conservatives, you know, and I'm speaking as somebody who experiences this every day and sees it constantly. We have spent years watching the same pattern, which is massive deficits, record spending, housing crisis, chaos, without a plan, the erosion of freedoms, more control, more bureaucracy, all of these things that never actually work, skyrocketing costs for absolutely everything. And who do people get mad at?They don't get mad at the policies that created it and the people in charge of writing those policies. They don't get mad at the leaders who promised results and then delivered nothing but inflation and regret.

21:59

They get mad at conservatives, the commentators, all those people, they call them extremists, you're misinformation, you're obviously paid. Why?Because I dared point it out.

22:10

Canada's ranking on the global happiness index has gone from fifth just 10 years ago to 18th last year, now to 25th in the world. Our young people now rank the 71st happiest behind the US, the UK and Australia, of course, but also behind Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Moldova.Kazakhstan youth are happier than Canadian youth.Something bad is happening out there and it's getting worse. And we can take the tranquilizing drug of blaming world events for the appalling conditions. But that painkiller only masks that the injuries are self -inflicted.

22:50

This is exactly how societies sleepwalk into far bigger problems. We train ourselves and we are conditioned to hate the diagnosis instead of the disease. And real maturity, real patience, real elbows up common sense means getting angry at the right things, which are the waste, the fraud, the lies, the incompetence, the corruption.I could go on and on, not at the people who are brave enough to say it out loud.

23:30

It's just got predominantly worse and worse.I mean, we promised one thing, just gaslighting to submission. The gaslighting is off the scale for people who aren't from this country. We need saving. We need some form of interference, because this guy is not going to stand down. He's a dictator.

23:46

He's a disgusting, vile human being. And he needs removing from power, 100%.

23:51

What do you think of the fact that he used the executive power to ban entry to foreign commentator, politicians, and journalists?

24:00

Well, he's just showing his true hand there, isn't he, really? You just have to look at a man by his actions, not by his words. He's an absolute... abhorrent, horrible individual and a person. And all we can say is please support us.We are the voices of the British people. We need your support more than ever now.
