DOWNLOAD 8: DARIPADA ISLAM KTP MENDING ATHEIS SEKALIAN?! ISLAM BANYAK MARKETING NYA?!
dr. Richard Lee, MARS
I know that in Islam, men can have several wives. Can the women have several husbands?
One woman and four men. Who is the father? I don't know. I was asked by Atheist. He said, what is this place? The answer is a mosque.
But he didn't believe.
That's the difference. Muslims will believe if it's Allah's house.
If he believes, he will pray, right?
No, he shouldn't. Why do people see their neighbors in the block doing worship, and we can't do it because it can disturb this and that? I mean, is their faith as pure as that?
What do you think?
Let's answer rationally first.
There are many atheists out there, but their behavior are far better and more noble than those who say Islam is like that. So if a doctor tries to barter between two figures, we have to be fair. Yes, Abraham in Christian.
This is a priest, Ustaz. It's heavy. So our topic is God's search, atheism, and also spiritual. But before we start, you're handsome in your clothes. So, our topic is God's search, atheism and also spiritual. But before we start, you look handsome wearing... Sarung.
Sarung, yes.

Okay. Alhamdulillah wa sallatu wa sallamu ala Rasulullah. In the Quran, from the 25 prophets and messengers that we Muslims are recommended to study, after the Prophet Adam, Prophet Idris, Prophet Hud, Prophet Saul, Prophet Ibrahim, we need the fifth one.
And it is true that in the Christian religion, or in English, it is usually called Abraham. In Arabic, it is called Ibrahim. More or less the same. Prophet Ibrahim is given a title in Islam as Abu'l-Ambiyya, the father of all prophets. Why? Because after him, all the prophets' descendants were from his descendants.
From the first wife, Sarah, there was Ishaq, the name of his son. Then from the second wife, Hajar, the name of his son was Ismail. Now, Ishaq and Ismail were his son. Then, from the second wife, Hajar, the son's name is Ismail. Ishak and Ismail are both prophets. After Ishak, all the descendants of Ishak came. Ya'kub, Yusuf, Ayyub, Zakariya, Elias, Zulkifli, then Musa, Isa, Da'ud, Suleiman, until Prophet Isa.
They are known as the prophets of the Bani Israel. Bani means descendants, and Israel is another name of Prophet Jacob. Because Prophet Jacob once traveled at night, so he was known as Israel. Israel is the night road. The last one to come from the descendants of Ishmael was Prophet Muhammad. These are all the descendants of one, Prophet Abraham.
Prophet Abraham's story is quite unique. Because in the Babylonian region, Babylon is from the word Babil which means quite a lot of dialects. Because it was the center of business and the center of Prophet Noah was stranded in Iraq, according to some historians. So that the descendants of humans began to develop from Iraq itself, precisely from the city of Babylon. In Babylon, there was a king named Namrud.
Namrud confessed to God. And the uniqueness of that time was because he was physically perfect. He was fit, he was physically perfect. He was fit, he was strong, physically. He was a king, his army never lost, his economy was good, his military was good. Then he claimed to be God. The people around him were promised that if anyone claimed to be God, they would be given whatever they asked for.
They wanted to be asked for land, cows, anything he wants. So many people acknowledge him as God. At that time, Allah sent Prophet Ibrahim. He had a dream. He had a dream that his kingdom was filled with fire. His kingdom was destroyed.
He asked a few things at that time. What does this mean? Tonight, a son will be born in Babylon who will destroy your kingdom. He gave instructions that all men must be killed. The mother of Prophet Abraham took him to the forest
and then raised him far from the settlement so that he would not be killed by Namrud. After 40 years, Prophet Ibrahim was sent by Allah to preach the story of Namrud. The story is quite unique. Among them, Namrud admitted to being God, but he was an ordinary human. He could not meet everyone. He could not meet everyone's needs.
He was ordered to build be built in Babylon, where statues were placed that were worshipped as gods, such as the rain god, this god, that god, and so on. And in the middle of the shrine, there was a statue of Namrud. So, people who cannot go to the Namrud temple to ask for something, they just need to offer it there, and then he can deliver the Hajj. That's about it.
Now, Prophet Ibrahim came there and said to them, What are you worshipping? These are statues. You are the ones who are wearing the hat, you are the ones who are colouring the shape of the face, the shape of the mouth, colouring it for you who are going to the place where you are going to be worshipped. Then, if you need to make amends, you call upon God.

I have taken your food. Do you not oppose me or punish me? Of course the statue could not answer. Then he went to the second statue, the third statue, all statues, none of them answered. Prophet Abraham said, look, they are not God. If you follow me, I will lead you to God, the one who is called Allah. Something like that.
Apparently they did not want to hear that. Prophet Ibrahim said, if that's the case, I will make a falsehood in your statues. When they all returned that night, Prophet Ibrahim came with a sack and destroyed the statues. All the heads of the statues were placed on the feet of the king of the Namrud statue. Their king who confessed to God at that time. All of them were placed, and the sack was placed on the king of Namrud, the king who confessed to God at that time. He put all the ashes in the hands of the statue.
Then the Prophet left it. Apparently, the keeper saw that. He witnessed. Then he finally told the people when they came, who destroyed our God? The young man who was called Ibrahim,
in the Bible, he was described. Try to call him, the people said. We want to ask, why did he do this? Then the prophet of God came and asked, did you do this to God, our God? Ibrahim said, why are you asking me?
Who is the one holding the stick? Look at that statue, ask him if he can speak. In the Bible, oh, yes, that's right, this statue can't talk. But they said, there was one person who said, we reported it to our God, the greatest, Namrud. Go to Namrud.
When I met Namrud, I talked to him. Namrud has a tradition, if he arrives in the morning, he is already wearing his clothes, all kinds of clothes, there is a gap between him and his community. If that gap was lifted, then you would see the eyes of his people, his lion-like form,
which made people more and more convinced that he was God. As soon as the gap was lifted, they all prostrated. At that time, Ibrahim came to that place. He was present. When the gap was lifted, was prostrating except Ibrahim.
Namrud asked, who is this person? Why is there a person who dares not prostrate to me? He said, who are you? How dare you? Everyone was shocked when Prophet Ibrahim said, Hai Namrud. At that time, no one dared to call Namrud by his name.
It must be Hai Tuhan Namrud or Hai Raja Namrud by his name. Namrud must be the God or Namrud the King. He said, Namrud, how can you admit to being God while you are a normal human being like me? You also have a mother, you were born as a baby, you have children, you are also a teenager, and you are now old. You will die like the other humans. God is Allah, He is the One who gives life and death. Namrud did not want to be humiliated, said, I also brought you to life and death.
Do you want proof? Ibrahim said, yes. What is the proof? Namrud told him to take two people who were in prison, who were indeed criminals. Then Namrud said to his guards,
kill one and set the other free. Look, Ibrahim, I also bring life and death. I kill whoever I want, I let whoever I want live. Of course, this is stupid because the one who is told to leave has been alive from the beginning. Then Prophet Ibrahim was reminded by the angel Gabriel, saying, if you are there, he will continue to rebel. Invite a dialogue to heaven.
Therefore, Prophet Ibrahim said, Allah moves the sun every morning from east to west. It is reflected. Can you do that? Allah said, So, the disbelievers cannot go back. They cannot answer again.
Because they cannot go back if the sun is moved. So, Namrud was confused. What should he do, Ibrahim? He immediately met with his followers. What should we do? I want to kill Ibrahim, but I have to kill him spectacularly.
I can't kill him as usual. If I only cut his neck and stabbed his stomach, that's already normal. I have to kill him that makes other people feel ashamed to cancel my divinity. After a long discussion, I burn him. Because if I burn him, no matter how strong or big he is, his bones will be hurt. So, he burned the fire. In some stories, the fire was even burned for 40 days.
The duration and size of the fire. After that, Prophet Ibrahim was brought and thrown into the fire. In the Quran, Allah said, หนArabic, Holy Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 10หบ We said to the fire, Allah said, หนArabic, Holy Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 10หบ Make fire, and you will be cold and safe for Ibrahim.
Allah prepared for Ibrahim in the fire, water to drink, there were fruit trees, people were out of human mind. As a miracle, he was safe from the fire. After a few days, they were shocked to find Ibrahim still alive. Namrud was confused.
He thought, how come this person is still alive even after being burned? If he was burned, he wouldn't die. The others wouldn't survive. If he was stabbed, he wouldn't survive. Namrud was confused. In his confusion, Allah sent a mosquito to him.

Because if a mosquito was to be fought with a sword, it couldn't be fought, it couldn't, it couldn't. Until he died. When he died, all his advisors surrounded him and saw the mosquito coming out of his nose. The news spread that the king or God of Namrud died by a mosquito.
At that time, the divinity was rejected. After that, Prophet Ibrahim AS moved to the country of Sham. He started to migrate to the country of Sham. He started to migrate to the city of Sham. Now it is Palestine, Jordan, Bandun, and Syria. The four countries were called Sham. He moved to the city of Sham,
and started to preach there. He brought his wife, Sarah. There, he met people who still did not know God. So, when Prophet Abraham saw this, he thought, it needs to be conveyed. How to convey to them the concept of divinity?
He was asked, what do you worship? Some say stars, some say the sun, some say the moon, God. So, Prophet Abraham, on purpose, the names that were mentioned, Prophet Abraham, on purpose, in front of them said,
is this God? He pointed to the stars. Yes. They said yes. But Ibrahim said, I will try to pay attention. Because God will not leave me.
Suddenly, in the morning, he disappeared. Because the sun was bright, right? He disappeared. It's impossible that this is God. Ibrahim deliberately made them think.
Then they said, Oh, there is another one who admits God, the moon. In the middle of the moon, if now there is a full moon, it will be visible later. Abraham waited.
When it came, then Abraham said, Is this God you are talking about? Yes. Okay, I'll try to wait. If he waits for me, he will continue to be with me,
I will believe he in God. But in the morning, the moon disappeared. They said, there was another group that said, we believe in God's sun. Okay, we wait for the sun to appear. Prophet Ibrahim said in the Quran, Prophet Ibrahim said, finally, it's bigger.
It's more suitable to be God. But we wait. He waited for us. But the sun appeared and disappeared. So he said, O people, O humans,
what you are offering is something that cannot be considered as God. Then he started to convey the concept of Tauhid or to worship God. There is God, one name is Allah, he is a worshipper, so it is enough to worship Him alone. That is the picture.
Of course, if we want to look at the history of Prophet Abraham, it is very long. But the concept of him knowing God is from what we have just told.
Okay.
Pastor, is Abraham and Abraham the same?
The same. The same? Yes.
But I've never heard the story you just told.
I've never heard it either.

What we heard is probably this, the sacrifice. Yes, the one that brought the ox to the mountain. Yes, the difference is that one was cut into a goat, the other was cut into something else.
Is that right? That's the next story. So, after Prophet Ibrahim migrated to Sham, this is the beginning of the story. He migrated to Sham and lived in Palestine. At one time, he went to Egypt. In Egypt, there was a king who was very cruel.
One of his cruelties in history is that he liked to take other people's wives. Because for him, if a person becomes a wife, he must have an advantage. Of course, he also sees if she is beautiful or not. Coincidentally, Sarah, the first wife of Prophet Abraham, the scholars explained that in Islam, she inherited the beauty of the air. The wife of Prophet Adam.
Allah gave her to him among us. She really has a physical advantage. When she entered Egypt, Prophet Abraham said, Later, if the king of Egypt catches you, say, I am your brother. And I will say, I am your brother.
Because we are not in this in this country who believe, except for the two of us. The enemy is Egypt. It turns out that the guards didn't want to know. They caught Sarah, brought her to the king, because she was beautiful,
and she wanted to marry him. Sarah prayed in front of the king. Oh Allah, this person wants to be a slave, so save me from him. Suddenly, the king's hand was struck. Then he said, what are you going to do to me? Sarah said, I am praying to my God to be saved from your evil. He said, if so, please pray to your God so that I can be healed.
I promise I won't bother you. Sarah prayed again, O Allah, save this person. He was healed suddenly. Because he was healed suddenly, he thought it was magic. This is a spell. It was a game. He tried to do the second one. Because it was the second one, he had to do more strokes.
In some stories, two hands, one of which said, so the stroke was bigger. He only did it with one hand. Then he asked, what will you do? He said, I will ask God to save me from your evil. If so, ask God to save me.
Then Sarah prayed again for the second time. Oh Allah, heal this person. Then, he was not satisfied, he wanted to pray for the third time. The third time, Sarah prayed, and he was half dead. He could not do anything anymore. So he said, I promise you, ask for this last time, so that your God will heal me. And I promise I will not bother you again. As proof, he called the guards.
The guards came, and they were all witnesses. I promise I won't bother you again. As proof, he called his guards. They came as witnesses. They were both healed. When they were healed, because the king was afraid, he said, give him Hajar.
Hajar, the second wife. She was from Egypt, from the Kipti tribe. That's the story. The beginning of met Hajar. Hajar was still very young, half, even far from Sara's age.
So, Hajar was given as a gift. Someone said in history that he was the king's son. Someone said he was his son. That's the difference of opinion. The point is, he was given as a gift.
Then the king said, get the person out of my palace, because he is not a human, but a jinn. That's the story. The story is followed by Sarah carrying Hajar, then said to Abraham,
when we meet, this is a gift that Allah has given us from the king of Zalim. Return them to the land of Sham. It took about 90 years when Sarah was 90 years old. She really wanted to give her son Abraham, but she couldn't. So she gave Hajar to Abraham. She said, Hajar, please get married.
He was married and was pregnant. Ishmael was born. This was the first child of Prophet Abraham. After the age of Abraham, it was 120 years ago. He had a child. There is a history that says that Sarah was jealous
and felt that Hajar could give her a child while she couldn't. But she was still positive. She only asked Allah to give her a child. Without her knowing, Allah brought the angels and gave them good news that he would be pregnant. Not only did he have children, but he would also see his grandson, Jacob, who would be
named Israel. So, these two children. When Ismail was born, Allah ordered Prophet Ibrahim to bring Hajar and Ismail to Mecca. They lived in Mecca. Meanwhile, Sarah and Ishaq were in the land of Sham, in Palestine. That's why their graves are still in Palestine.

Get started freeActually, in the city of Hebron. Now, when they were growing up, the story was growing up, in the Islamic history books, the one who was cursed was Ismail.
Yes.
Because at that time, Abraham came came to Mecca and he saw in his dream that Allah told him to curse. That's why until now, the Muslims in the Hajj season
have a thing called Lontar Shaitan. In three points, throwing seven stones, small, medium, and large. That's because when Prophet Ibrahim wanted to curse Ismail,
he was te by Satan to stop him. So Prophet Ibrahim threw seven stones. So until now, it has become a sharia in Islam. In Hajj, there is a slander.
Okay.
Like that.
If I'm not mistaken, the difference is only in Islam, Ismail turned into a goat. In Christianity, it becomes a wood, if I'm not mistaken. No, it's a kind of sheep. It's not a sheep, more precisely, when it's about to be slaughtered, suddenly, it's told to stop by God.
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry, guys. I just remembered it. So, when it's about to be slaughtered, suddenly, it's told to stop by God. Then, the sheep appears in the bushes.
Okay. But that's the truth. In the Qur'an, it's like that. So, Ismail was replaced by a sheep. That's why the Muslims in the idolatry worship sheep. Goat. It can be a cow or a camel, but sheep is better. That's because of the story of Prophet Ismail.
I have two questions, Ustaz. First, if Ibrahim and Abraham are the same people, it means that Islam and Christianity worship the same God but why are these two religions the most complicated religions in Indonesia?
if you say that if you say that they are complicated, I don't agree yes, because I didn't find it from my wife's family. I am also a Mu'allaf from Chinese Manado. I never felt there was a problem with their family.
I'm also always in Makassar, our parents. I live with our neighbors, all non-Muslims. But I never saw that. Maybe some of the Oknum, because if we say that it's often a coincidence, it's not quite right. But maybe they preach to each other.
There are Muslims preaching to Christians to enter Islam. Christians inviting people to leave Islam. That may be there. That's because people feel the religion is right,
so they are invited. More or less there. But it means God, God Ibrahim, God Abraham, it's the same, right? It means why do we have to debate? This is just a matter of point of view, right? It should be, if we are logical, right?
Is it true?
So, this is in the perspective of Islam first, so the Muslims believe in Prophet Jesus as a prophet. So what is believed by Christians, the Prophet, Prophet Jesus, we also believe as a prophet. So, those who are believed to be Christians, the prophets, Jesus, we also believe as prophets. The only difference is that the Muslims continue to benefit from the prophets of Jesus and Muhammad. So now there are Muslims who say that Jesus is not a prophet. That is an infidel. He is not admitted to Islam.
Because there are six types of Muslims. Faith in God, faith in angels, faith in the Bible, and faith in the messengers. So everything must be believed. Moses was believed in the Torah, David in the Book of Psalms, and Jesus in the Book of the Gospels, but it was added with the Prophet Muhammad and the Qur'an. That's the basic difference.

Get started freeIf you are Christians, you are up to the Prophet Jesus. If you are Muslims, you are up to the Prophet. I'm not saying he was my teacher, but he was more like my teacher. His name was Sheikh Muhammad Jamil Zainu. He lived in Mecca. One of his books was called Kaifah. How I got the guidance.
He told me that he had a friend who was a Christian. He was in Damascus, Syria. He was still in his first year of college. Before he went to class, he said this while holding his Christian friend's shoulder. What do you think if I say, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,
and that Jesus is the Messenger of Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah? What do you think if I say, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, Jesus is the Messenger of Allah, and prayer at the source of Allah. Jesus is the messenger of Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. It turns out that there is a part of it, I don't know if you are Christians here, but what he told there is that they understand that the Muslims hate the name of Prophet Jesus.
They don't admit to Prophet Jesus. So he was surprised. He said, if you say that, it means I also said, ashadu an la ilaha illallah wa anna isa rasulullah wa anna muhammad rasulullah. Oh, that's okay. We have to admit it.
It's like that.
We can't say that Isa is not Rasulullah. It's haram in Islam. It can be from religion. Because all prophets have to be the same. This is what Prophet Muhammad said. My likeness, said Prophet Muhammad peace, with the prophets before me, it was like a building.
Everyone around praised the building. Very good. And they found a stone that had not been placed. So they said, if there is a stone that has been placed, then this building is perfect. Prophet Muhammad said,
I am that stone. So Prophet Muhammad did not bring a new teaching.
It was a benefit from the prophets before him. Okay. That's all. I am that one stone. So, Prophet Muhammad did not bring a new teaching.
It was the estafet from the previous prophets. That's all. What's different is the Sharia. The rules. The rules in Prophet Musa were only removed in the time of Prophet Isa. That's also how the Qur'an is in the future.
There are rules that continue the estafet, and there are rules that are removed. That's called Sharia.
Okay, my second question, after this you ask. My second question is a difficult one. There was a story, that was the first time I heard, that the wife of Prophet Ibrahim had a stroke. Three times.
That was a Musisad, Pak Ustad. Why didn't he become a prophet? Instead, he did a disaster.
We have discussed this in the beginning of our episode, Doc. The Prophet and the Messenger are not the choice of humans. It is the choice of Allah. Allah chose them. If only all humans could reach the rank of a prophet, we could try, but we can't.
Indeed, it is a choice. And all prophets are made sure of this. The most perfect in physical appearance, the most perfect in the path of the Prophet, the most well-known in the community, the best in economy,
there is no poor prophet. They are all capable people. People who have a name in the community. So they have never been deceived by lies, never lied, never been cheated. So they are really protected.
When they were nominated as prophets, they admitted that they were prophets. People knew that they were honest people.
That's why there are people who say, this is what Pak Ustad said, Islam is a patriotic religion.
What do you think, Pak Ustad? What do you mean?
I mean, it's more towards men. The focus is focused on men.
No, not at all. Islam actually regulates, the concept of gender in Islam is regulated by the right division. It's like this, Doc. We can't force men and women to be the same. But we also give the right proportion.
I mean, if a man wants to or not, it is impossible for a man to give birth, right? It is impossible to have a child. If he wants to have a surgery, a fetus, or whatever, it is impossible. Allah has created it that way. It means that it must be differentiated from a woman who can get pregnant and have a child. It is impossible.
Men have no height, no breath, no blood coming out of the womb. a woman who can get pregnant and have children. That's impossible. Men don't have height, no breath, no blood coming out before they're born. Women do. They can't be compared. So, the body is also one of the characteristics. Men have turned their bodies.
Different vocal chords, the hair on the body, the mustache, and all kinds of things. Maybe it's an embarrassment, I'm sorry. But women have breasts, right? There are no men's breasts. There is a difference. We have to admit the difference, we can't say, oh, we have to match.
What can be matched? If what is matched is proportional in the sense of each task, because women give birth, get pregnant, so they are at home. More at home automatically. To make a better life, men go out. So there are examples of men going to pray in the mosque,
looking for male benefits, fighting men, carrying male corpses, all of them are men. Women are more at home. Like that. So this can't be forced. So we can't say this this is a religion for men.
No, it's not like that. It's all the same. Because if a man is alone without a woman, he is not perfect either. He can't give birth, he can't have children, so there is no offspring, no population. A woman alone can't do it either. Because she has to take care of the children at home, cook, all that, men are outside, to look for this, to perfect it.
That is why Allah said, We created you from men and women, and We will develop you from these two. And the person who is most merciful to Allah is the most righteous. Men and women are the same. There was a verse in the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW,
in Surah An-Nisa, it is like this ููููุง ุชูุชูู ูููููุง ู ูุง ููุถููู ุงูููููู ุจูุนูุฏูููู ู ุนูููููฐ ุจูุนูุฏู Do not ever envy each other, men and women, says Allah in the Qur'an. ุฏูุฑูุฌูุนู ุงููููุตูุจู ู ูู ููุง ุงููุชูุณูุจู have a duty that has been burdened. I seek Allah's forgiveness. I ask Allah for His blessings. So, this is actually balanced. So, they only have their own duties. So, it's not said that religion is for men.
But, both men and women only have their own duties to perfect each other.
Okay.
I want to continue the question, Dr. Richard.
Sure.
It's still about men and women. As far as I know, in Islam, men can have several wives. Can the women also have several husbands?
Okay, now we answer rationally first.

Get started freeWe'll pose first.
I'm just curious.
Okay, it's okay. Now, if we, men, have polygamy, have four wives.
That's the maximum, right?
Yes, the maximum. Now, we're talking about biology, right? We're talking about biological interaction. If all four of them are pregnant, because they're sperm-pumped, do you know who their father is?
I do.
You do, right?
Yes.
Because it's clear that it's one man. Correct. If we go back now, one woman and four men, who is the father?
I don't know.
That's one of the reasons. Allah created the human's penis for men, that's why polygamy is allowed. And polygamy is allowed, not obligatory. It's different, it's optional. People can do it if they want to perfect their religion. Or maybe he has a problem when his wife is pregnant.
Instead of separating from his wife who is already 10 years old, he marries her and gets an offspring. For example, Prophet Ibrahim and Sarah got children. For example, those things can be optional. That's why we find that, even though it's in the Islamic Sharia, not all polygamous Muslim men can be counted by the fingers.
The percentage is maybe below 20%, the rest are monogamous. Because it's not something that should be. I just answered rationally. rational. I've heard this, Ustad, that if the man is Muslim, he can marry a non-Muslim woman. But the one who is still Abrahamic, if I'm not mistaken, so maybe Christian or Catholic, that's okay. But on the contrary, if the woman is Muslim, she wants't find a husband who is not Muslim.
I've heard that. Is that true?
Yes, it is.
So in the Qur'an, I will explain it later. So now, the basic law first. The basic law is Surah Al-Ma'idah, Surah number 5, verse 5. Al-Ma'idah means food from the sky. When Prophet Isa asked for food from the sky, Allah described it in Surah Al-Ma'idah. So as a description in Islam, we have many Surahs of the Qur'an that talk about Prophet Isa and Maryam.
Surah number 3, Al-Imran. The family of Imran, Imran is Maryam's father. The Surah itself is called Al-Imran. Then there is Surah Maryam, Surah number 19, especially the story of Maryam and other prophets. But Maryam has many stories, how she was pregnant, how Prophet Isham was born, and so on. And we have Surah Al-Ma'idah, Surah number 5, this is about the food that came down from the sky.
In Surah Al-Ma'idah, in verse 5, Allah mentions the issue of Muslim men being allowed to marry the women of the Scriptures. So the women of the Scriptures are like Christian women or a Jewish woman. But the scholars really understand their religion. But this verse is made up by the scholars. When did this happen? For example, there is a Muslim who lives in a country where there are no Muslims.

Get started freeThere are no Muslim women. He now lives in a remote area in Australia, in America, and there is no Muslim woman there that she can marry, as a religion. So she can't marry all the other women.
She only chooses women, scholars, who know at least Allah. The same God. So the Christian woman or the Jew is there. So, the difference is that she is married when she is in one location.
She is worried that if she is not married, it will be adultery. That's why she is married. Like that. And why can men do it, but women can't? We will answer that now. Because generally, when a woman is married, she will follow her husband.
Because men are the leaders in the household. Generally, the influence is greater. That's why women are advised not to choose men other than Muslim men. The purpose is for that. So as not to leave their religion. More to that. don't leave your religion. That's it. Meanwhile, if a Muslim man marries a Christian woman,
he doesn't have the obligation to force his wife to convert to Islam. Because the concept is Ikhlaq Hafidh, there is no obligation in religion. Pak Ustaz, I want to ask you this. There are many atheists now. There are more atheists but they don't admit it. Maybe if we browse on Google, the atheists are two people who admit it in Indonesia.
The rest are actually many, but they don't admit it. The first question is, what is the difference between atheists and Islam KTP? Islam KTP, but they don't pray, eat pork, drink alcohol, doesn't pray, doesn't follow the Sharia, he says he is Muslim, he believes in Allah, what is the difference with atheism? So, if you want to say it's different, there are many sides to it. From the point of view of the term, one is Muslim, one is atheist.
It's different, we look at it from a smaller perspective. Next, if a Muslim asks, who is your God? He will answer, Allah. He has a God, even though he doesn't pray. The most stupid person in Islam,
if you ask him who his God is, he will answer, Allah. If you ask him, what is this mosque? His answer is, Allah. If you ask mosque, what is this? It's Allah's house. The doctor will show him the Qur'an, he will say this is Allah's book. He will be like that.
Now, Ramadan is fasting, he will know it's fasting, even though he is not fasting. He knows. People go to Hajj, he knows it's Hajj.
That's very basic. If atheists, He doesn't have a God. He believes that all of this happens without a cause, without a creator. This is very easy to be helped by atheists. Because, rationally, if atheists say that all of this happens without a creator, it just happens out of the blue, then this room can be built without an architect, without being drawn, without a builder,
without any material. Everything is possible. It's very contradictory. So, there are many things that they say, but God can't be seen. Okay?
There are many things that we don't see, but we can feel. Feel like, feel hate, feel hungry, hungry, full, sad, happy. We can feel all of it, but we can't see the reality. It means that everything that is invisible is not there. That is what can be known as the unseen world. That's why there is the world of angels, there is Allah, there is heaven and hell,
even though it is not visible to our eyes. This is how it is, Pak Ustaz. If we talk about Islam KTP, does he know who is the God of Islam? He said, Allah.
What is this place? Mosque.
What is the holy book?
Al-Quran. Asked to Atheist. Atheist also said, what is this place? The answer is also this is a mosque. But he doesn't believe. The difference is that. Muslims will believe if it's Allah's house.
If he believes, he will pray, right?
No, he shouldn't. Now, let me ask. We'll talk about business first. So that the doctor can understand it easier. If people work in the same company, do all the employees in the company have the same standard?

Get started freeNo. Definitely not. We will find that there are always people who are arrogant. Why is he arrogant? He knows that if he works, he will get paid. He knows that if he works, he will get a bonus.
He knows that if he works, his name is Harum. He knows that if he is in the PHK, he has to look for another job. But why does he still want to work? Ok, no. The problem is he's a private person. He's the one who's broken. His brain is broken. So we can't measure everyone equally. If we want to barter, we have to barter with our friends who are good.
Why would he want to believe? Well, he's called Harum, he got a salary and all that.
Okay.
It makes sense.
Change it.
Oh, that's a tough question. Maybe a lot of people are like this, Pak Ustad. A lot of people who are atheist or whatever. Even my friends who never pray again, never do anything. Even like, I'm in a phase where I don't trust God too much. Because maybe, from what they told me,
they always told me, I feel like in the past few years, I've never felt the presence of God in my life. Maybe he prayed, maybe he never felt responsible or something. Or maybe he's like, why is my problem always there? I've asked for help, this and that. I never felt helped I was helped.
What do you think about that?
So people like this are actually lying to themselves. Why did I say that? So, anyone who prays to Allah is actually accepted. Who accepts it? Only a small part of us do not accept it. For example, are we hungry every day?
Sometimes we just say we're hungry. We get food. We drink. We are thirsty. Suddenly, an idea comes to our mind. Who created this idea? Who created the system that if we are hungry, we have to eat.
If we are thirsty, we have to drink. Isn't it God who created all of this? So, it is actually answered. There are even things that we don't ask for. Oxygen that we inhale. There are things we don't ask for, like oxygen, light, and sound. We can differentiate our nose by smelling bad or fragrant, and our tongue by tasting sweet or salty.
There are so many things we don't ask for. There are some small things, like when people ask for something, their body weight may need a week to pray. For example, if someone asks for something, maybe the weight of his request may require him to pray for a week. For example, a company, so that it is easy to understand. If someone wants to be asked to raise their salary,
to raise their position, he will request for the D-Root for the request to be raised. Now, the staff who want to stay in the company and wants to keep their good name, do you think they are patient or wait for the company to get angry with them?
Patience.
Of course they are patient. It's impossible for them to be like, where is my proposal? They will immediately release it. Actually, that's the rationale. People like this, they are stupid themselves.
Actually, when people are already making a prayer, they are already making a prayer, they're already making a proposal. They just have to wait. There's a proposal that, I said, Dr. Richard,
I need 10,000. That's small, you can give it to me. But if I say, Doc, I need 10 billion. Dr. Richard, it takes time to think, right? I mean, it's not compare ourselves to Allah, but there are requests that Allah will look at us. Are these people more serious?

No wonder he's not accepting it. If he's patient, it's over. There is a hadith of Prophet Muhammad like this. Even if Allah hears the prayer of a servant, it is very beautiful. For example, he says, O Allah, the One very beautiful. For example, if Allah says, O Allah, the One Who replaces day and night,
the One Who creates all people with His speech, with His system of creation, He praises Allah. If Allah hears a servant's beautiful prayer, Allah delays His answer. Why?
So that the servant remains in his prayer. Now, if we are sick, we say, Allah, heal me. Suddenly, I'm healed. We still pray.
We have stopped.
But if Allah gives it a week later, then he will pray for a week. He will continue in his prayer, continue to connect with his God. That's important.
Okay.
Pak Ustad,
actually, this is a video I cut two years ago. If you still remember, Ustad, two years ago, at that time I said, Ustad, if there is someone who is not a Muslim, but more Muslim than Islam, is that going to heaven or not?
Then you said no at that time. We debated for quite a long time at that time. There were maybe 20 minutes to 30 minutes. And I felt like my language was quite not good because at that time I was really defending Ustaz, so I decided not to show it at that time. But honestly, even though I am now Muslim, I still disagree with that sentence.
Because in my opinion, God Almighty, can't only judge you by saying, Oh, you are Muslim. But in my opinion, it will judge more from what is done,
what is done. Many people out there are atheists, people who don't believe in God. But their actions are far better, far more beautiful, far more noble than those who, I'm sorry, Ustaz, who say that Islam is like that. I still want to ask you today.
So if a doctor tries to barter between two figures, people, we have to be fair. As the doctor said in the last sentence, there are atheists far better, far more beautiful than that.
Because the doctor finds among people whose basic education in their home is good, friendly, hospitable, and all kinds, with Muslims who are arrogant, this is not fair. If it's like this, meet with Muslims who are also well educated in their homes, that's
fair.
Okay, that's right, that's the point first. Okay, another point. Actually, the problem of phonies, whether this person enters heaven or not is present in all religions. Now, my Christian friends, assume that if a Jew dies, will he enter heaven or hell?
Jews?
Not Christians.
Transcribe all your audio with Cockatoo
Get started freeWho don't believe in God?
Yes.
Won't enter?
Yes. That means it's a phony. Not only Muslims who say that others that, but also Christians say that. Why do Jews slaughter Muslims in Gaza? They even destroy churches. Try searching on Google how the preachers of Christians in Israel come to Palestine.
They even by them. Because they thought they were the people of hell. That's a phony. All religions are phony. Wait a minute. Each religion is phony according to their own beliefs. Now I will explain why Islam says that. We have heard it before, in Christianity and Judaism.
Maybe other religions are the same. If that religion does not support, I am the best, I am the most right, there will be no followers. That's what makes there are followers, right? If they doubt, oh yes, all religions are good, all are true. Many people can change, every day can change 5-6 religions. But because he is right, onist, he is right, so there is a follower, right? Okay, now because I am a Muslim, I am asked,
why is Islam looking at that? The first reason is because the Muslims are claiming, we are claiming, we are claiming, we are the ones who continue the Prophethood. So the Muslims consider all the Prophets to be Muslims. If the doctor asks all the Qiyai, all the Ustaz in Islam,
are the prophets of Jesus Muslims? We will say yes. The prophets of Moses are Muslims. Yes, all the prophets are Muslims. Because Allah said in Surah Al-Imran, Surah number 3, verse 19, Inna dina inna Allahi al-Islam.
The religion of Allah is only Islam. There is no other religion. We believe that Prophet Adam and Prophet Muhammad are Muslims. Whoever lived in the time of the Prophet, for example, Prophet Moses, he was the closest to the Prophet. He was the one who accepted the followers of Prophet Moses. Before Prophet Jesus was sent, he was the one who accepted the followers of Prophet Moses.
He died. If you ask the Muslims now, are they in heaven? We will answer, yes, they are in heaven. Because they believed until the last prophet. Now, when Prophet Isa was sent, he continued the estafid. That is the Torah, it is finished.
This is the new Gospel. This is the new Shariat of Allah. Leave that. This is what we follow. Believe me as a messenger. That's how it is, Prophet Isa.
Now, those who follow Prophet Isa, they continue the Islamic etafet. In Islam, they are considered Muslims. Prophet Isa and his followers are Muslims. If they die at that time, they will go to heaven. Later, Prophet Muhammad was sent,
similar to the case of Prophet Isa and Prophet Musa. We say that we are sure that the Torah and the Gospel have been sent down. But the last revelation is the Qur'an. It perfects our faith. Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad are all believed. The Muslims are the ones who are believed.
That is why the Muslims are called Muslims. Islam is actually the religion of the Prophet. Allah never revealed any other religion. But now we have been talking about it. Because this is a religion specific to the prophets. But it's not like that.
If we talk about the understanding of the Muslims. We understand that all the prophets are Muslims. All the followers of the prophets who lived in the time of the prophets, before the prophet came, who brought new Sharia, they died in heaven. So it's not just the Muslims who are now in heaven.
No, everyone is in heaven. But those who lived in that time before the Prophet came and brought new Sharia.
Okay.
Yes. Pak Ustaz, I actually have no debate about the teachings. The teachings are actually very good. But what is heard, for example, Islam, you are Muslim, you are in heaven. If you believe in the Lord Jesus, you will enter heaven. If you believe in Jesus, you will enter heaven. It's like, in my opinion, if a modern day kid hears that,

Get started freeit's like a religious marketing. If you are of this religion, you will enter heaven. If you are not of this religion, you will not enter heaven. It's not more about teaching. Teaching is not about Islam. But how we practice our belief?
It depends on someone's understanding. If a doctor understands the extent of what I offer to him as Islam, he offers me as a Christian, then we assume that's it. It shouldn't be like that. It's like marketing.
That's the doctor's perception. Because I offer Islam to him, not just because I left the important thing, shahada, behind. If I am a true Muslim, I will teach him. Likewise, he also invites me to his Nasrani. Then he can't leave me after I move to Nasrani.
He must teach me. If people only offer religion that is important, that has been entered, and then left, that's okay. Marketing language is right.
But that's not true. The language is not correct. That's the first. The second, marketing language is business language. Indeed, now,
we can use this word anywhere. I usually use it in my lecture, I say this, we, so this phrase anywhere. I usually use it in my sermon. So that people can understand. Because people already know about marketing, they will sell it, offer it.
So I said, we are Muslims. Everything is marketing. And we have a product called Islam. Let's offer this problem to the people. And we are sure that if we offer it, Allah will give a reward.
I'm sure the Christians are the same. It's the same. But in the sense of words, they only support these words. Not as the main target.
Do you want us to teach you?
Straight away?
It's okay, I'm open-minded. I learn all religions. Do you want us to teach you? Just learn, right?
Sure.
Teach us, so we can start learning about prayer.
I'm not a Muslim.
What do you want to ask about Islam? Since you're here. What I often see in the society, as a Christian, we are a minority. I often see in the society, we as Christians, we are a minority here.
Let's say I listen to the call of prayer every day, I can do it four or five times a day. But we don't feel it's a nuisance. Even during the fasting month, the shops are closed, we don't feel it's a nuisance.
How come? We are the ones who fast. We don't feel it's fasting month, the shops are closed, we're like, okay, we're not. How about you guys who are fasting? We're not, okay, that's it. But there are still a lot of people, I see, for example, we're praying at home, not at the mall, using big speakers. Okay, at home, at someone's house,
there are still people, maybe the community, at someone's house, or someone's mother's house, there are still people, maybe the Oknum, who come to us and say, this is not allowed, and so on.

Get started freeWe can hear it many times a day, and we just let it be. My understanding is, if we feel our faith, for example, I am with Jesus, whatever people say, whatever religion we hear,
I believe this is God Jesus. Why do people who only see their neighbors in the block doing worship, we can't do it because it can interfere with this and that. I mean, is their as corrupt as they are? What do you think, Paolo?
Let's answer rationally first. We talk about minorities and majorities. I was once asked, at the time, if I'm not mistaken, on the podcast of Derricko Boucher, about the issue of leaders.
Is it possible in Indonesia to enabling non-Muslim leaders at that time? I asked him back, I said, Mr. Deddy, if we talk about not Indonesia, we talk about Australia, we talk about Japan, we talk about Korea, what if suddenly one Muslim president appears,
is it bad? It's bad. I already understand, he said. Then he immediately caught it, because the majority of Muslims do have an influence. If suddenly one of the Muslim president's candidate appears, is it a bad thing? It's a bad thing. I already understand, he said. Then he was immediately arrested. Because the majority of the people are influential.
We can't lie about it. We can't deny it. If it's only in Singapore, you can't hear the call to prayer. Maybe in Indonesia, because of the majority. I've been to Singapore, there's no call to prayer. And that's the government's rule. You can't, so the adhan is only inside.
I've been to Australia, the adhan is only inside the mosque, you can't go out. Because it's a minority and majority society. I see that the right tolerance is that we have to be more tolerant of the majority. In other words, we don't oppress ourselves. But in other words, for complex, there are 20 houses. 19 of them are Muslim, one of them is Christian.
The Christian make their own beliefs using a microphone. Everyone listens. Maybe the 19 of them will be disturbed because they feel like they are the majority. But I'm sure that if this happens in China or Korea, 20 houses, one Muslim, and the rest are Christians.
I'm sure that Muslims won't dare to use the Azan microphone to disturb others. Because it has a rational impact. So, I think there is no conspiracy there. It's more to the nature of humans human being to feel that he is a majority or minority. That's more to that. But there are some cases that I see, Ustaz, that are reported.
For example, like high school students who are retreating. I mean, retreating in one building and for example they are praying, the voice is impossible to come out. Until yesterday, there were quite a few who were destroyed, thrown away. That's not true. Like this, William, if it's part of the Islamic teachings, why not just all of them are disturbed? Why only that?
Because it's oknum, and there will never be an Islamic community that holds on to their religion, that will follow that way, impossible. If that's true, then everyone will do it. I will disturb my neighbor, and my neighbor will be disturbed. I mentioned this to Dr. Richard in our last meeting, a discussion about Ishaqan.
So, Islam will not disturb other religions. It's not the same. Because in the concept of Al-Quran, it is like Rohafidin. I cannot force it. Earlier, Dr. Richard said, we can teach it now,
maybe that was a joke. But in Islam, because I understand, I will not discuss it. I just said, I want to ask about Islam. If someone asks, I answer. If interested in Islam, I answer. If they are interested in Islam, I guide them. If not, then it's fine.
There is no obligation. I went to a gathering in Rabu the other day, because I was teaching in Block M. There was a man, a Buddhist. He came. He wanted to marry a Muslim woman.
Then he wanted to enter Islam. Then after I explained what he wanted to ask, he said, I mean, he said, I said, sir, I want to enter Islam now. He said, not yet. I still want to think. Please, sir. I don't understand.
That's in the mosque.
In our majority. But it doesn't exist. There is no obligation. Everything is not. So make sure it's only oknum and make sure there is no Islamic scholar who supports it. Impossible.
That's just oknum. the fatwa will be issued. For example, the president can issue it, but it won't happen.

Pak Ustad, if we look at the number of atheists, even though in Indonesia it's still small, or those who admit it are still small, but if we look at the world now, we believe in graphics, Pak Ustad,
because we are scientists. So if we look at the graphics, HIV AIDS is increasing. Or the graphic, we see that marriage is decreasing. It means that there is a fear in a country, even in Japan, that it is subsidized.
If you want to get married, you are given money. Because the marriage graph is really decreasing. So people are getting married not at the age of 20, but at the age of 30. It means that we believe in the graphic and we believe in science. the marriage rate is really decreasing. So people are getting married at the age of 20s, 30s. It means we believe in graphics and we believe in science. We also see this from the world's side,
the more graphics, the more it leads to people who don't believe in religion compared to people who believe in religion. It means if we stay silent like we do now, slowly but surely, a few hundred years later, it could be more than 50% or almost all the people on earth,
this will happen.
Let's be fair, Doc. This only happens in the western regions. That's what happens. The graphic that the doctor said, I've also followed it. This graphic happened, we can say, not in Southeast Asia. In Southeast Asia, the Islam religion is strong, the Christian religion is strong.
In the Philippines, the Christian religion is good, strong, with its missionaries and all kinds. In Indonesia, in Malaysia, in the world, Islam is strong. It's like that. This is more to the West. Why? The West is indeed more prone to being far from religion. Many places of worship are used precisely to gain profit, for example. It's different.
So people no longer believe in religious issues. If only more intense interaction and and examples were more intense, and the examples were better than the religious figures, I'm sure it would be different. That day, I was invited to preach in America and Australia. I was reminded by the minister there.
This is a mosque that has just been bought. I asked, what is this building? They said it was a church before. Why was the church sold? According them why the church was being sold. They said because there was no congregation there. So it was being sold.
And there was a worship permission, so it was easier. That happened in the US. I saw it was written in the US, sell, sell. So this was being sold as a place of worship? Yes. This happened in the West.
I'm not sure this happened in Asia, Korea, the Philippines. No, it happened. Church sales. Where in Indonesia is there church sales? No. What's there is built again.
So actually more to the concern of religious figures, to better introduce that religion. Because if not, it will go there. The devil doesn't want us to be religious.
But now we also see the mosque, I don't know, if you come, the mosques are immediately crowded. But if we look at it,
now the mosques are not as crowded as they used to be. I want to add, my friends from Korea, Japan, most of them no longer have their religion. In the past, maybe Shinto, if Japan, if not Buddhist,
if not, then Korea, in the past, if was still like Shinto, Japanese, Buddhist, etc. In the past, Koreans were Christians. Now, some of my friends from Japan and Korea come here, and I ask them, what is your religion? They say, they don't believe in God or atheism. Most of them say,
well, they say, for their generation, young people, they rarely have a religion. Mayonitis. They say that for their generation, young people rarely have religion. Majority.
And this is what I'm talking about. That's usually because of the effect of the influence of converting to the West.

Get started freeAnd now we say, sir, we always say that our Qibla is always the West. For example, if we come to the West, we always say, wow, our country has been 20 years behind the other countries. Our country has been 50 years behind the other countries. What this sentence means is, 50 years later, we are like this. That's why we always look for business ideas. That's out of the country.
Why? Because when we go back, we get ideas that can develop there. Always like that. Or we say it like this.
Palembang loses to Medan. Medan is bigger than Palembang. can develop there, always like that. Or we say it like this,
Palembang loses to Medan. Medan is bigger than Palembang. If we want to do business, we can't go abroad. Just look at the city of Medan. Two years later, three years later, Palembang will be like Medan. We always say that.
Fast or slow, the facts and data can't be denied.
I'll give you an example of myself, Doc. Just follow me. In 1999, I finished my first year of study at Islamic University of Madinah, in the city of Madinah.
I took up the course of Da'wah. I went back to Indonesia and started to preach. I became a lecturer at a campus in Makassar. Compared to now, after maybe 20 years of teaching, sharing knowledge, sharing ideas,
and delivering verses from the Qur'an, it's very different. In the sense that the mosque is more crowded, and there are many groups that want their children enrolled in the Pesantren, to continue their education in the campus where we once had our college. That's very exciting. The number of Pesantren in Indonesia is much larger than before.
It's more full. I also enrolled my children in Pesantren. Pesantren is so full that there are no people to accept them. So, if I said back to the point, it's actually more to whether there is a concern. Allah also sees, does this religious leader care about my religion? Until it's true, Allah gives him success.
That's it. So actually, it's more to that. We don't have to worry too much, the West is already like that. While we take the Qibla, we make it a matter of economics. Maybe they are moving forward from one side, economy or technology. But it doesn't mean we will also follow from the side of religion.
I think it's still a bit far if it's a matter of religion. Because this is a matter of belief. Like that.
The last question, Pak Ustadz. Pak Ustadz has discussed the problem of the leadership of a country. Pak Ustadz, if one day, for example, in New York, there was a mayor yesterday, an Islamic Muslim. It means that now the time is quite advanced,
we can accept differences in all countries. It's open. In the past, we were called the narrow-minded. Now, it's not anymore. We're just normal. It means that the acceptance is really great.
Especially now, we see people with more talent than religious people. Background and so on. If one day, there is a very good leader, let's just say it, very good, even there is no one better than him to lead. But he is not an Islamic religion, to be a president.
What do you mean? In Islam, this is a concept of statehood. We talk like this, Doc. Is a Muslim living in America or in Australia, the president is non-Muslim, they still obey the government? Yes. Can't be a Muslim.
I live in Australia. I'm a Muslim. The government regulations can't violate the law of the land. To write a letter in Israel, it must follow this regulation. I can't break the rules of the law. To follow the law, I have to follow this rule. I can't break that. I can't say that this is against non-Muslims.
I don't obey. There is no such thing in Islam. That is the basic law. Dr. Hilal said that if you are a leader, you have to follow the law. But that's a different matter.
But if we talk about it, now, I'm talking about the problem But if we talk about it, now I say the majority and minority society. Rationally, if there is a majority and a minority, usually the majority will choose the majority. That's normal. If the case in New York, there was a mayor, when did this happen? And this can be said from 100% to's maybe 1-2%, the percentage is small. This doesn't mean it's a one-size-fits-all,

Get started freewhether in all areas, the leaders are Muslims or in the minority, Muslims are, in the majority, Muslims are also non-Muslims, I say my percentage is very small. In Indonesia, for example, it's very small, in Brunei, in Malaysia, maybe it's very small, right? Because non-Muslim, I became a leader. In a place where the majority of non-Muslims are,
it seems small that a Muslim can become a leader, even though he is of good quality. In general, it is like that. So, for me, we can't say what if. Because nothing has happened yet. It was proven back in Jakarta,
there was Ahok, he just led the way. Maybe there are some political issues. Like people think this is about to be destroyed, and it might happen. But he was the leader of Jakarta, and his staff involved a lot of women. I have a question, sir. I'll just go straight to the point, Pak Ustaz. Yesterday, there was an issue that in Islam, it's best if the leader is the religion of Islam itself.
Here, once again, my concept is the original Islam and the traditional Islam. And I think Pak Ustaz Khalid Basalamah represents the original Islam. If in that view, in choosing a leader, is represents the original Islam. In that perspective, in choosing a country leader,
is that a problem in Islam?
I think so. Because earlier, the problem was like this. Majority and minority. Now, Muslim majority in Indonesia, for example. Then comes the non-Muslim leader. You don't mess it up later, do you? There are many Islamic conditions.
Adhan, Terdengar. In Singapore, it was the Islamic kingdom. In Singapore, there is still a legacy of the Islamic kingdom. In the past, Adhan was given, but when the non-Muslim leaders changes, it's not allowed. Not all of it is erased, prohibited, there are rules. So like that, there will definitely be a shift.
If we want to force a shift, for example, a Muslim suddenly becomes president in Japan. There, people worship the sun. There must be a shift. He can't possibly disturb people's confidence. So it's better for us to talk about something rational.
The rational thing is, who is the majority, he is the leader. That's much more accurate. It's not a matter of saying, if there is quality, because if we say there is quality, yes, there is quality. I said earlier that we have to head to head. Find between this quality and this quality Only then we can be fair.
Stanley, what is your view as a non-Muslim towards Islam? My view towards Islam? I just started to have a conversation with my Muslim friends. It's been 4-5 years ago. Because, my family is very Chinese.
Since I was a kid, I was taught Chinese and Christian. I was taught in a Christian school. Elementary, junior high, high school, college, all Christians. Most of my friends are 90% Christians.
And they all look like me. All Chinese. They all look like me. They're all Chinese.
They all look like me.
They all look like me. So, I just realized for the first time, oh, in Islam, for example, if we eat pork, if we don't know, it's okay, because it's not on purpose.
That's when I started making content, met my content creators friends, met my agency friends, met you, meet new content creators, meet new agency members, meet new people, then we can share our stories. So, there are many perspectives
that I've seen since I was young. We only see it from social media, from the news. Like, wow, building a church is not allowed. Wow, what's this? Wow, they are...
They are always taught... They are scary. they were scary. So, from the beginning, I was quite sure that most of the Chinese family, especially Chinese, and I don't know about other religions, but I'm sure that most of the Chinese Christian family didn't have to be too close with them.
Most of them were like that. Until finally, I started to hang out with my Muslim friends Even met Ustaz, Habib Jafar, Ustaz Felix, and others Honestly, I never thought about it in my mind Like, I'm a random Chinese Christian Why do I suddenly hang out with Muslim religious shoppers? Even I, who hang out with Christian leaders, never like this I was like, why is there a Chinese Christian and Muslim shop owner next to me?

Get started freeI've never met a Christian shop owner before. I was like, wow, that's so cool. I got a lot of knowledge that I didn't understand. Like the story of Prophet Ibrahim. I was like, I've never been taught about Christianity. He once made a King's Stroke.
From that, I realized that all I've read and seen, all I know is from the occlum, and the occlum that's viral, is the occlum, and the occlum. It turns out that it's not
what I thought it was. There are many good things, and many good lessons. For example, Dr. Richard asked, why do we always prioritize men over women. I got an explanation from Ustaz.
He said, this is the way it is. It turns out that the teachings of religion are good. Me too, Ustaz. I was a Saverius in elementary school. Saverius in junior high school. Alhamdulillah, I was also a Saferyus.
College, Masya Allah, I went to a country. And when I entered the country, it was 180 degrees. My friend was 99% non-Muslim, 1% Muslim. It turned out to be 99% Muslim, 1% non-Muslim. It became a difficulty for me to get along with my friends when I moved. I even told my wife,
if possible, my daughter should go to a foreign country. Because when I entered a foreign school, it was difficult for us to get along again. Because our way of getting along was very different. Our way of appreciating each other is very different until I graduated from college at 6 years old
and in the last few seconds of my college years in my fifth and sixth year all of my close friends were Muslims even my bestie, I said my bestie was not a non-Muslim everyone was Muslim
and I felt really comfortable with them. I feel they appreciate me more. I feel they accept me more. I feel, even though in the first year it was very difficult for me. It was very difficult for me. But in the fifth and sixth year, I felt that my best friends were Muslim friends in my fifth and sixth year.
This is without belittling one or two parties. But I'm comfortable, but it does take time for us in the beginning.
Because maybe there is a doctrine at the beginning.
We live for decades, right? We are taught that way, not directly. What we see is...
That's why I said earlier, actually, we just meet with data and facts on the ground. If I said earlier that the perception is that Muslims are cruel, Muslims are like this and that, then automatically there will be no non-Muslims who can live in Indonesia. That's the rationale. Of course, it will be disturbed, this is the majority. We go to Surabaya, the majority are Muslims. We go to Java, except we talk maybe Papua or Manado.
Manado is actually surrounded byado has Gorontalo next to it, the Muslim. But, it can be said that no one is disturbing, except for Oknum, that's why Oknum is here. Maybe I took the conclusion from what Mas Wilan and Dr. Richard said, maybe before we knew each other, we didn't love each other. People usually say that.
So, it's really good for us to open ourselves, to get to know more and we have the right to decide. Oh yes, I should be friends, not follow the religion. There is no compulsion in a problem like this. If it was like Dr. Richard joking, I think it's like that. So this is a fact and data, not a recitation.
Because if it's a recitation, I a fact and data. Not a recitation. Because if I recite, I'm in front of people, I'm a good person. It will look like a lie if I meet a Muslim. It's not. Everything is the same.
That's the data and fact. Thank you, Ustaz. Thank you, Stanley, for coming here.
Do you want to ask Ustaz again?
Later, off-cam.
