I did film an empty kitchen tour for you guys.So I'll put those clips in.Hello guys.Welcome to today.We're going to do an empty kitchen tour.I'm so excited.

I'm going to walk you guys through everything.I'm going to do like an in -depth in -depth tour when it's fully done and organized.Just know there's a bajillion boxes over here from the kitchen that we need to go through and organize and put everything away.But until then, we're gonna do an empty one today, in -depth one coming soon.There's still stuff like subject to change also, but you guys, it looks amazing.I'm so in love with it.

And let's do a little walkthrough.We're starting at the front.We have these gorgeous swivel bar stools.I spend like a majority of my time on a bar stool.Like I sit, I do my work here, we eat here.I love sitting on a bar stool.

So having a comfy one was really important.I love the backs of these chairs.And I also love this little brass accent.It's very minimal, but it looks really pretty we're doing a lot of brass in the kitchen the dark wood.It looks amazing I love itwe've got four of these and then the island as you can see is brown We went through a whole process as you guys know to pick the color of the island at first when we walked in it was blue and I think it turned out absolutely Gorgeous.

I love the brown so much.I think it's so chic and I think it really matches well with the countertops These were the pre -existing countertops of the kitchen before they're gorgeous.This is a Taj Mahal courtside.It's polished So it's shiny and I will say one thing when I first walked through the house.I did not love the color this edge that they have it's honestly throughout the entire house of all the countertops bathrooms everything i think it's called a beveled edge and it kind of has this like you know little carve out here well i think it's pretty i did just think it felt like a little bit outdated the thing is i keep telling you guys as we live here day to day the things that i didn't love initially i'm now falling in love with and i actually really love the look of this i think it's so beautiful and i think it really matches the vibe of the house the only downside that i found with having this is that dust and dirt and things get trapped in these edges so you really have to clean them and especially with like all the construction that happened there's like paint particles and things like all in these crevices.So I need to really deep clean these but I love the countertops.

I think they're stunning.I love the veining of them also.With Taj Mahal, it can come in like a cooler shade and come warmer.It all kind of varies between like neutrals and I love that these have like a brownish gold veining through them if you can see here.Really pretty and I feel like the brown island really ties in well as well as our gold accents.to you guys initially about it but at first i was like okay let's do black accents because obviously there's stainless steel there's black i think the black will match nicely and there are a lot of black accents in the house and so we ordered all the black faucet everything i love the gold

i'm so happy we went with it we ended up going with an unlacquered brass so it's shiny if you can see it's so pretty i like that it's not too yellow gold too and what's cool about these is over time as we use them more and these are like built to last forever they will patina meaning that they'll have like a really pretty kind of like wear on them over time they'll start to lose their shine over time too right now i'm loving it and i love that it kind of has like a cooler tone Gold vibe to it.So it still is like warm because it's gold, but it's not too yellow So I love this so much again.We're still working on replacing things You'll see in the full tour what they look like when they're done, but it looks amazing speaking of gold We also have this gorgeous pot filler here.Let's test her out.I did just show my tick -tock Her tested but look at this you guys I've never had a popular before this is now my third time ever using a popular first and Alicia's Second was here for the video third.I'm still learning I love making ramen.

I love making pasta.So I think I'm really going to use this a lot and it comes out hot.Wow.That's amazing.That was so fast.Oh, I wonder if maybe like.

Yeah, I didn't think about that.As you can see, this is new for me.The backsplash, we did change.I feel like this really made a big difference.If you guys remember the backsplash before, it was like neutral.It was kind of matte and it had this like blue floral kind of like pattern on it.

It was really pretty and it matched the blue island, but again, I didn't want a blue kitchen.We ended up going for this beautiful cream I lovekind of looked like it was kind of sucking life with it being matte the next morning we looked at it at nighttime we looked at it in the morning light and we pulled this one back out we're like wait a second we actually really like this one so we ended up going with this really beautiful glossy cream i like that it's not white i think it kind of pulls again those warmer tones from the countertops and the gold without it being too like boring white if you will also my contractor was like do you want to stagger them so like kind of like put them in windows or do you want them stacked on top of each other and i'm so happy we went with like stacked on top of each other i think it just looks a lot better cleaner the only things really changed were the backsplash and the paint color and then just swapped out the color of the you know faucet and like gave that a little bit of a change but those three things made it look and feel like a whole new kitchen i'm very happy with it now speaking of whole new kitchen this actually is a whole new kitchen come on in welcome to our new kitchen pantry now the lighting is not great in here we will swap out the lights to be a little cooler tone for filming purposes but if you guys remember the old pantry was just white shelves i really wanted to make a countertop in here because i wanted to put all of our appliances in here so in here now it's going to be like ice maker toaster oven air fryer so it'll be out of the way i want the kitchen to stay nice and clean and kind of open but i'm an appliance girl i love my appliances so i'm excited to have them in here and also with the door being pretty much like shut all the time, the sound will be muffled too for filming purposes.The ice maker will be quieter, everything will be quieter and I just love it.If you guys remember we went to the stone yard to find a slab of stone, this was one of the projects it was for.This is also actually a Taj Mahal but as you can see it is unpolished so it's not glossy and also this one's much more cool toned than the one outside so it's so pretty.

I will say if I had gotten abigger slab we could have done the backsplash all the way up But we ran out of stone with the other projects we did which you will see very soon But still I think it looks gorgeous.We are still making some changes in here But as I was saying I've been loving this Dark brown wood with the gold accents if we could have done the island and like a wood stain I would have done this.This is called Kona and it's absolutely beautiful We did the same polished brass handles in here and we just have cabinetry now to the gods places for my sex all my cooking stuff everything like that we decided to go with open shelves here that we're gonna put baskets in and also I think it'll be good to store you know like onions and potatoes and things in here and then we also have drawers here which are stunning I cannot wait to get to organizing all this up here we have a lazy susan along with the shelf at the top So that'll be nice for like sauces and condiments and things.And then down here, we also have another Lazy Susan, which this is not fully done yet.There are some other little finishing touches going in, but...

That is kind of the overview.I cannot wait to organize this with you guys.It looks amazing.I love the warm wood.I love the gold.It's just crazy.

If you had told Remy, you know, a few years ago that I'd be loving gold and like warm tones, I wouldn't have believed you.But I think it's so cozy and chic and gorgeous.Also, we have this whole area back here still that like could definitely fit more okay guys that was the empty kitchen and new pantry tour again there are still things changing but it looks amazing i can't wait to organize it all with you guys and show you the final full in -depth tour because there is a lot going on with that let's get on with the vlog wow You guys it looks amazing in here.I'm so excited to have new locations and different angles to film from now Isn't it beautiful?I love it so much the house is looking stunning and speaking of the house looking stunning We have some friends coming over for the first time ever.I just realized there's a little smudge on here

Hello.Kim, Ty, and Michelle Yeji are on their way over.They should actually be here really, really soon.They're coming to visit today.They just wanted to hang out and I can't wait to see them.I did pick up some little goodies for them at the mall and I'm going to pack the bags and I'll show you guys what I got them.

Kim, Michelle, and I are all gift givers and so I already know they're going to come with something for me and I didn't want to be empty handed.So I just got them some cute little goodies.Laneige gave me some extra bags and I'm going to it in these bags for them.So first off, I got them both.I got them both the same stuff.This Laneige Baskin Robbins collab rainbow sherbet lip balm, which is so cute.

It's like their normal little tub.I'll show you guys.It's the sleeping mask.That's what it's called.It literally says not for consumption on the top because I'm sure you want to eat it.It's sherbet.

Scented.It comes with like a little, oh my god, spoon.that's too cute and then the actual lip balm and it looks like their normal rainbow sherbert i realized their regular sherbert looks like this it's the wild and reckless that's the green magenta blue one that shane loves that was his favorite flavor growing up we have the sherbert lip balm, I'll put that there.I also got them each a banana bread and a scone, a birthday scone, because as I said, I thought they would like a little sweet treat.Also, Laneige, they gave me these gifts of purchase.It's like a key chain with a little puppy bag.

I showed you guys this the other day because I got one for myself, a mirror, a lip balm and a little, I think this is like a, oh, it's a facial cream.So cute.So I got that for them too.We'll put that in here.And then also I got them a little pair of socks or like a little sock pack.But these are so cute.

They're just like little, you know, ruffle socks.that come with white, butter yellow, and then like a taupe -y neutral color.So cute for spring.And that's what I got them.

Adorable.The Laneige girl also was so kind, gave me some tissue paper.

Boom, just a little for them.I just know they're gonna come with gifts for me.And I'm gonna have this for them now.

Guys the chandeliers are going up tonight So excited it's happening We just ordered a bunch of pizza for a little pizza party for us and for all of the amazing electrician guys.Hello guys Okay, it is much, much later.I just edited a vlog.Got that scheduled for you guys to go up tomorrow.Today was like such a fun day.I mean, I got to go shopping with my bestie and I got to see my friends and hang out.

The house is looking amazing.The chandeliers are not done yet, but they're going to come back and finish tomorrow.So I'll show you guys that tomorrow.But the house is feeling like a home and I feel like every day we're chipping away a little bit more, a little bit more.There's still a lot to do, but it's looking so good.I love the kitchen.

I love my office.All the trees.up now over here look at her she's looking good i have other plans for everything behind here so it'll be prettier when i vlog and everything for you guys but overall i'm just i'm so grateful and i'm so excited for tomorrow kim and michelle came over as you guys saw and then they were only going to come here for a little bit but once we started talking like my throat honestly hurts because i talked way too much today they were only goingbe here for like a couple hours.They just brought lunch and we were going to hang out for a bit.They ended up staying for, I think like five or six hours because we were all just like having a girly time.

So that was so fun.And then tomorrow, Ash's bridal shower is going to be beautiful.I cannot wait for her.I hope she has the most amazing day and thinking about it has me thinking about how my bridal shower was pretty much exactly a year ago.It was this month last year.First off, I cannot believe how fast the year has flown by.

like that's actually insane to think that I like blinked and it's been a year.It's kind of scary.I am just so excited for her.I'm thinking back on my bridal era and just how much fun it was.It was also very stressful because obviously planning a wedding is also very stressful, but a bridal era is just so special and so fun.And I feel like I didn't understand at the time when I was going through it just how special that time is.

Like I knew, but I didn't fully comprehend obviously.And now being out of it, I'm like, Oh my gosh, I will never get to experience that again.and I'm so grateful for the time that I had and all my friends and my family and just all the memories that we made and especially like all of the Keepsakes and things that I have now too.We still need to fill our wedding box I've been waiting to do that too but like fill it with all the memories from just that special time because it's just it's such a beautiful thing and I just think it's so sweet and there are just like some things that humans do where I'm just like that's so adorable and I feel like just like a bridal shower It's just like one of those things I'm like we all come together to just like celebrate the bride and just celebrate, you know, people coming together and love existing.With that being said, I feel like I'm a little bit delirious.So I need to go to bed.

And I feel like this is so cute, A, for like something like today, or it's also cute for like an everyday look.You could wear this with blue jeans, dress it down or dress it up.Today, we're going to dress it up by wearing the matching skirt with it, which is adorable.It's this long.It's so funny, you guys, I always say this.This is advertised as a midi skirt.

So on the model, it's like at her mid calf, I would say.But hack, for the short girls, I'm 5 '3", in case you didn't know, midi skirts are the perfect maxi length for us without having to do any sort of tailoring.And I like a mini cut on me, but I definitely prefer a maxi cut, especially, again, just like being short overall.Let me call my steamer.Yes!

I have these new shoes that i'm really excited to wear period I will say I did ask I should also get ready while I chat because I should not be wasting time I did ask the maid of honors on the policy of white accessories I feel as though it probably will vary ride to ride.Here's the thing for me If someone had asked me I wouldn't have cared, but I do think it's polite to ask and obviously they say no That's totally fine, but I was told white accessories are okay white White shoes, white bag.I just got these new shoes.These are from Femme LA.I've talked to you guys about this brand already.This is the only brand of heel that I've ever tried that does not hurt my feet.

The black ones that I wore for my birthday, those were like high high.So those were like a little painful, but considering how high they were, they still were comfortable in regards to like other pairs that I've worn.These ones I've never tried.obviously they're brand new, but I just love this brand.I don't know if they're doing something for like the wide foot girls or just like the way that they make them is just heavenly.There's just something about them that doesn't hurt my feet and as a girl, you guys want to see the front of my foot?

I wore not femme shoes the other day when I was in Vegas.Let me not show you my toes.Do you see that?I'm still recovering in between my toes.I got massive blisters.The tops of my feet are all cut up.

That's like a, oh man, it's definitely gonna scar.I'm just realizing now I'm like a girl that bruises and scars like no other.This is from when I walked into something the other day.It's looking better now.It was literally like black and blue for a while.I think I found a new one in the shower this morning too.

And then for underwear, I got a new pair at the mall yesterday that I was really excited about.I did not know that Skims came out with these like tummy control underwear.They had a brief style and they had a thong style.I am really excited.And when I was checking out the sweet sales girl was like, oh my God, I love these so much.They've changed my life.
