Come with me to walk from the very top of Manhattan to the very bottom and all the stops we made along the way. We started at 214th Street. Took over an hour by subway to get up there. Here's me trying to shoot the opening clip of the video. In the beginning we were moving and grooving. I didn't have any stops for us planned right away. And at 2 miles we were feeling good and we checked out the oldest house in Manhattan.
Which there wasn't much going on so we left after like 5 minutes. Cochina Consuelo, lovely restaurant in Washington Heights. After that, I was feeling energized, ready to walk. We decided to walk through Central Park. At this point, we hit five miles. We're on the west side, but I made us do a detour to East Harlem to get Lloyd's carrot cake because I've been wanting to try it
and that's really the only reason. We ate it in the park, it was delicious. Textbook carrot cake. And walked to the gorgeous park. Westside we went to Janie's to get some pie crust cookies pumpkin cheesecake one literally rocks my world But so did the cranberry one then you're all needed to use the bathroom So we stopped to the shops in Columbus circle back on the road We went also just update the mileage. We were at 13 miles at this point legs were getting tired
I had so much to go but it's okay because I stopped for some Lucia pizza vodka is my favorite Although the margarita is a close second fueled us to get to the end. Finally we made it to Phi Diay. Saw the Statue of Liberty, my girl. And 18 freaking miles later we did it. I was hyped to stop walking. Fun, I love doing this, we try to do it once a year. You get some exercise, you see some new neighborhoods. we try to do it once a year. You get some exercise, you see some new neighborhoods.
