FAMILY VLOG | Nostalgic Summer Days, Beach Trip & Making Memories
Hello my love, I hope you're all really well. She's on the floor. There are suitcases behind me, which can only mean one thing.
We're going on OliBob.
I'm so excited because we are going on a super nostalgic little family holiday this weekend. We're actually off to Great Yarmouth. We're going on a Herevan holiday and I don't know why that accent came out.Into it.I am so excited.I was saying to my sister this morning.
I actually have that like You know that sickly kind of unsettled feeling in the pit of your stomach that you have on Christmas Eve I've got that.
I'm so excited for this holiday.I think it's gonna be so chilled and nostalgic and just really really really special and fun for the kids, um We usually do sort of a holiday each year and last year when we went to, where did we go last year?We went to Crete.I did say to myself, never again, never again until the children are a little bit older.I don't know, I feel like I would go again.I feel like I say this every single holiday because we all know, us mums know an abroad holiday is not a holiday for mum and dad.
It's like parenting abroad with zero convenience that sounds really negative it's definitely i do think it's worth going away for the memories but um i just think with everything going on this year the farmhouse and yeah life just feels like a lot.i feel like i would potentially mentally combust with the thought of having to go to an airport.so yeah we decided to not do a big abroad holiday this year and instead we're gonna do a nice nostalgic weekend away at the beach in a caravan.think ice creams, arcades, seagulls, building sandcastles, playingin parks, like it's just gonna be so so so nostalgic and the kind of childhood that I had Me, my mum and my dad always used to go to Wells next to sea and do like a caravan holiday every year and it's one of my most cherished childhood memories actually.I remember like the evening entertainment with the kids disco like it was just the best time so I'm really excited to be able to make hopefully some core memories for Noah and Jonah and hopefully it's something we could do every year.
So yeah, I'm just in the midst of packing.I'm using all the packing cubes this trip.If you are packing to go on holiday with children, I would highly recommend using packing cubes.I've actually used them for me this time as well. It's just so much easier than like having to raid through a suitcase. So I've got like one packing cube for outfits, one for underwear and pajamas, one for toiletries, one for nappy bits for Jonah.
And then I've got one for toys. We're gonna take toys.Um Usually when you go to like an airbnb or something Isn't this just such a fun thing to say when they have that little toy basket in the corner of a room Filled with like a really small selection of toys Hallelujah, but i'm thinking in a caravan. We're probably not going to get that so i'm taking a couple of toys um, I feel like noah would be fine without toys and he's more more than happy just to kind of like Just chill and like colour, but Jonah, I feel like definitely would appreciate a couple of toys.So just got a couple of Peppa Pig bits.I've got some mini magnet tiles, which are always great, especially like for going out for dinner and stuff.
And yeah, packing cubes are a lifesaver, just to keep everything together. And then like I said, instead of having to like raid through your suitcase, you can just grab one of these out. Also very exciting, this weekend is actuallyJamie's 40th birthday.Whenever we tell anyone he's 40, they genuinely think we're lying.
He doesn't look, or act actually, 40 at all.And yeah, everyone's always really taken aback when we say, oh, it's Jamie's 40th.
So yeah, I'm really looking forward to taking you all along with us.It's gonna be such a lovely, nostalgic family weekend.And...I'll see you when we get there.
Outfit of the day, black with a Yeti cool box.
Jamie loves this Yeti cool box. When we got our new car, this was in...
It actually says Defender on it.
Does it actually? No, the lights behind it.You can't see the Yeti bag in all its glory.Oh, it says Defender. So it's like a limited edition Yeti cool bag, which fits nothing in because it's the world's tiniest bag.
And in here...He has beers.
Wow, the necessities.Do you know what Jamie don't worry about packing anything just pack yourself some beers in your Yeti cool box I'll do everything else.Would you look at that the perfect Jenga boots I ever did see Very excited we go where the sun shines brightly see you Another day, another no prank at the Costa drive -thru.
I said to myself I'd do it next time.

And also, Jamie's done another wild thing and ordered something I've never ever seen you drink in my whole life.an iced caramel latte.
You're not an iced caramel kind of guy.I'm not?No you don't.Why do you try and gaslight me?Like why do you do that? You don't ever have caramel lattes iced.
You always have a large latte with two sugars.I would however. No you don't.Jamie's just told me the most dad joke I think I've ever heard.Go on, tell everyone.
I was like, what do you mean?
And then he pointed at this.Yeah, I put them all on the road.Got a few years to get, mate.

You saw a hosepipe?Of course you did.
Oh, this is lovely.Sorry, am I not doing a very good job of orientating the map?
No, because look where we are.Not orientating it very well.
I don't know what to do.I've never orientated a map before.
I think we've gone too far.
Do you?
When did that say it was just then?
Because this is the end bit, is it not?
I'm really bad at reading a map. This is our one here, number two, Pine Grove. We are somewhere.on here.We have located Pine Grove.
This is cute.Noah, this is where our lodge is.Jojo just saying, hello.Do you think there's a Gruffalo here?Awkward. We've arrived.

Get started freeGrey, crushed velvet, that's a bit of me.If you were here in 2018, you will know.I'm not sure what that is, darling.
What is that?
It's so nice here.I love that it's kind of private and look how peaceful this is.It's absolutely gorgeous. So this is the little decking area.Wow.Do you like it?
Dinner on there, darling. We can have our fish and chips here.
Jonah wants to get out.Do you want to go look in the woods? You wanna find the Gruffalo?Come on then.Let's go this way.
Me and Jonah are on a Gruffalo hunt.We need to find Gruffalo and Mouse, don't we Jonah?Mouse.Should we go have a look for him?Where is he?Huh?
Have you found him?Where is he?Over there? That way?Should we go that way?Did you find the Gruffalo?
Is he through there? He's over there in the deep dark woods.
Hello, where are you?Where are you?
I'm bringing it with us.
I've got things for breakfast.I've got some croissants.
I'm having a beans on toast recently.Haven't you had breakfast? And then we've got a dusty chair.
The amount of stuff I've packed, you'd think we were here for a week.I was just saying to Jamie though, I wish we were here for a week.Like a week doesn't seem long enough.
It's so nice here.
longer next time well let's see I mean we've only just got here yeah
do you know something I appreciate I did worry with the amount of fridge stuff I bought is there gonna be enough fridge space I thought it would just be a little one like this but there are in fact two fridges so that is absolutely fine oh my gosh you've got a spider found it it's an incy wincy one where did you find him here we go on our first little adventure obviously we've got the beach cart in tow parent must have we are just heading out this evening it's about seven o 'clock now um but we are just
heading out to have a little walk around it's such a lovely sunny evening so we're just going to go for a little walk see if we can find a little park Um, we were going to go and have a look at the disco because that's until eight, but we're going to save that till tomorrow night. So I think our plan is we're going to go find a little park, have a mooch around, get us some dinner, take it back to our lodge and then get an early night ready for tomorrow, which is going to be a really fun day.
Do you actually, is it bringing back mems?Oh, it's making you feel nostalgic.I love that.Oh, it's gorgeous.Really? This is what happens every time you stop.

Yeah, it's weird.
What?
So here, right, hear me out.Sometimes, when I've really got to concentrate on things, I picture, I link places to what I'm doing.Really? And this bit here, I couldn't remember exactly what it was, but I've pictured it in my head when I've been concentrating on something.
Aw, that probably means it's like a real core memory for you.
And now you're here with your two boys in their beach car. That's very cute.
we have located our first park this park was here when i was younger was it actually well exactly the same oh i love that
still holding on to a spider.
Toy is a blast from the past.
Did anyone else used to play these little fishing games? We've got to wind this up, Jonah.
I have to wind it hard to do.
It's a lovely atmosphere when all the other caravans are around you and I don't know, it's just such a lovely feeling.I'm really happy we came.Last night, the last time youus, what did we do?We took a walk down to the main bit.We had a little look around, we got some dinner, and then we pretty much went to bed last night.
Today is the activity day, and Noah is very excited to go to, where is it?I don't want to say it too loud.Swimming pool, so I should think that's probably Got a couple of like nostalgic toys I got one of these rocket launcher things and you like stamp on neural demonstrate look Oh like stamp on this bit and it shoots them really high. It's a lot of fun 2018 the crushed velvet the gray the blush pink I feel like I've transported back to 2018 Fish and him you get him one look his mouth is open. That's it.Yeah.
What about him?His mouth is open, too Can you get him now?
Yes, that is his mouth You're under arrest
Jamie's doing at 8 a .m.m.
In the morning, it's just getting rockets out of trees Oh dear dad duties getting rockets out of trees.Well done.I know It's like it was it was meant meant to get rockets out of trees Jonah's very happy that he's caught a fish. It's what Jonah does when he wants you to sit Whatever makes you think that you want daddy to sit there He wants to show you his little fishing game, bless him.He loves it.Aww.
Jonah found this spider in the woods yesterday and he's not let go of it ever since.

Yeah. And then, I think it's because you need to stamp on it harder. This is a great little game. That was funny.Let's move, we've got to move it away from the roof.
Move it over there.
Yeah, where there's not a roof.Daddy thinks this is going to be daddy's life for the rest of the weekend.A rocket went on the roof.Go on, Dada. The best part about that was I told Noah to do it on here and Jamie came out just before he was about to stamp on it saying, it's going to get lost in the grass.I was like, it's fine.
And then it just went on the roof.So that one was my fault.
Jamie's in the toilet and I really want to do that prank.I've seen and I love watching where you do like a bathroom tour whilst they're in the toilet.
I'm gonna do it.He's gonna be annoyed.
Look, I've shown you all the bathroom. You've got the shower, the toilet here with like a shelving.Your grandma is on the toilet like this.when it was like, what?Shoot rockets at the lady, please.Jamie said, can I get a minute?
No.Dada, we've got a problem out here.
You better get his stick out.
He needs to get his stick, doesn't he, Noah?
There it is, the tree.
It's up there, Dada.
Yeah, I'll get you some crocs, darling.
Are you glad that I got this rocket launcher, Dada? You've been very busy.
You help Daddy?
Oh my gosh.jonah get the bottom bit of the... oh good job guys.good job guys you nearly got it.well everyone we've got a friend.do you know what he wants?jonah's croissant.
It's only a matter of time before he swipes that.

So you'll all be really happy to know that after our trip to the dino park, Jamie also got himself, they really suit you.
I know they're like being barefoot.
These are like proper, they are like being barefoot.
These are proper haven holiday shoes I feel.
These are proper dad shoes.
Wear them, go on.
I'm going to.
They actually like really strangely suit you though.Do they?Yeah.Comfort is key at the age of 40 Jamie.
Get them arch supports in there.
Yeah you need to.Everyone laughed at me last week when I wore these to the dino park and now they're the in shoe.
Let's bring him back.
Or have you just reached middle age if we think they're actually like acceptable to wear out.I know. They actually...Go on, do your quickest run. He's actually...Oh my God.
Pulled his back.
You're like, what?Dad, you're so embarrassing.Kind of upset I didn't bring my lake shoes. We could have been twinning. The thing is, when I first put them on, I was like, what are those? But as I wore them, they were the comfiest things I think I've ever put on my feet.
I know. And listen, when you become a parent...
you're middle -aged, comfort is key.I know.Do you know what they're like? They're like wearing cushions on your feet. They're just like walking barefoot. So 10 hours later, we are finally out of the caravan.
Honestly, it never fails to amaze me how long it takes to get out of anywhere with children. But we were going to book S -W -I -M -M -I -N -G today.I can't say the word because Um, no, they're in the car.Let me grab them.

Get started freeOh my goodness yesterday Me and Jamie were laughing because we wanted to have a little look in the like kids entertainment And there was full on bouncers on the door, right?Like the ones you get in nightclub. They were like you got your pass You got your pass.I was like, oh it's in in the car.
I'll just take some money with me and leave my wallet here Yeah, and he said passes.
We didn't have them and he was like make sure you bring them tomorrow Gosh, are we?Are we on a night out, or are we trying to get into a kids disco?
So yeah, that was quite funny, but we've got them today. We've got the passes. So yeah, plans for this morning are we're just going to go and have a little bit of a mooch.I know we nearly didn't get in.It's like getting ID'd.What are we doing this morning?
Where are we going?
What have you got in your hand?Cow.Oh, why are you creepy?Noah's angry this morning, apparently.Show me your best angry face.Ooh, angry.
Show me your best happy face. That's the same as angry.Happy is like this, big smile.Ooh, that's really angry.Show me your best sad face.I like your sad face.
Oh, not the bottom lip.
That's what's safe. That's the bottom lip.Noah spotted this, like, brain game.I'll show you in a minute, but we left our money in the car.So we're going back to play that, have a look around, possibly get some breakfast somewhere. And I have seen that they've got lots of, like, kids What did you say?
The stick. They've got lots of like kids activities. There's like a build a bear, which I would love for them to do.There's like a slime making class, painting rocks, like loads of cute stuff. So we're going to have a look around and see what we can book.
Yes?
Looks like a squirrel.Yeah.Does it?
You're in proper dad mode, Jamie, in them shoes. In your lake shoes. And your cart with your two boys.Lake shoes.
It's like I've got four hands.
Where is the birdie?
I'm trying to tell you my business idea.
What's your business idea?
Caravan park.Yeah.It's just set in the 90s.

So you've got like the disco, you know like with the zigzag lights on the front of the speakers?Yeah. And like you've just got a big open field where the grass is like scorched by the sun.And then you've got like a single A -frame swing set, goalposts and that's it.
Here it is!The game that I've been hearing about for the past 24 hours and he's been very excited to play.Yay!
boys in the arcade.
Can't resist a grabber machine can you?Who are you trying to get the duck?Cuter.Meanwhile Noah's just chilling with his arms back.Having a great time there. What a tease.
Guys you can do it.Come on ducky. This way. You're getting out.
So apparently on this one you win every time.So let's see.
Would you like a duck Jonah?See what one we get.
Win it every time.We try again.
Try again.
Give one to Noah.Should we give this one to Noah?
Daddy and Noah are in the ice cream van.Got you a duck.
We've already won three ducks since it happened. It reminds me that there was something similar when I was younger where you would pay a part, always get something different.I feel like it was the ones that we just got Jonah that had a little toy in.
But I want to go get another duck.I'm different.
I love that you don't know what you're gonna get, and I love the fact you win every time.Like, it's not disappointing.
You always get something.I'm gonna have another go on the ducks, Jamie.I've got to.I'm gonna have a Dalmatian.Cat one.
Have another go then.
Oh, you want the pirate one.Cat one.
Oh, the cat one, Noah. We've already got a cat one.Oh, we've got a cat one.A cow one.The cow one?
Dalmatian one.
Cow one.
I don't think I can get that one either. What about a square duck?
Oh the square duck's cool.
I've run out of time.
No you haven't, you don't run out of time.Oh, oh.It's actually quite tricky today.Yeah the square duck's quite cool.Well done Dona.Love it.
I'll be back here tomorrow.I want them all.So these are all the ducks that we've got. We've got a classic orange one.One with sunglasses.Cat one and the square head.
I don't know which one's my favourite.I feel like it's the one with sunglasses.
Press the button to come down.Got it.Go on, give it your hardest ever punch.Imagine I've just really annoyed you.Whoa, that's pretty hard to be fair.Yeah.
For a 900, I won't lie.
900.
993 is the one to be.
993.No, I think that's it.
It's the most expensive punch I've ever thrown.Come on Jamie, have a go.
You'll break it.Oh, will it be so hard that you'll break it?It's pretty.
I want another go.Tell me it's nap time without telling me it's nap time.Everyone's very tired.I gave him a kiss.

Get started freeOh, you gave him a kiss? That's nice.
Just two parents decompressing in the park.
Please tell us, how are we?taking our children out for food?
It was good breakfast though.
It was so chaotic.Do you know what, Noah and Jonah aren't really like your typical feral children, but when we go out for food, let me tell you. They are feral.
They are so feral. We're talking, they're under the table, things are flying everywhere.Oh gosh.
He keeps getting JV pine cones going da da.Jonah, we're just trying to decompress mate.
But yeah, we found like we kind of got into a stage where when Jonah was younger he would sit and like sit in the high chair and eat really nicely and we found Noah a little bit challenging at that time because he just didn't want to just sit there which is understandable but now we're at a stage where they both don't want to be out for food but Noah will sit and eat but Jonah's just wants to do everything Noah's there but yeah they just want to do everything but eat so that was a chaotic breakfast would not recommend.Tell me your tips and tricks. Two sleeping babes in the back and we've just taken a drive down to Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth and it's potentially one of the most extraordinary places I think I've ever been.
It's huge, like you did it, I can't speak, the different, oh look, the different amount, just the sheer amount of amusements is wild.
I'm so excited for Noah to wake up because I've seen a Jurassic World little section which they're both gonna love.I've seen a pirate section which Noah's gonna love.Oh look, there's another dinosaur one over there. And then right down the end is like a huge fair. And is it really sad that I probably feel the excitement that I actually did as a child to go on a waltzer.a pirate ship.
Just, you're about to say yes, aren't you?
I'm just looking around. It's so big.
It's so big.I thought James was going to say yes.It is sad.
Um, that's pretty cool actually.I thought it was like run down, but it's actually, it's actually booming as well.
Like it's so busy.If you've been to Great Yarmouth, we came down the end, like the really industrial end.Um, and the first thing we saw was like a taped up caravan. We were like, whoa.Um, what's his name off Breaking Bad?
Jesse Pinkman.
No, the main guy.
Yes.How have we forgotten his name?
Heisenberg.
Yeah, like Heisenberg, is that you?Are you cooking?I'm not going to say the words.Great Yarmouth Beach.Like it looked like that with the windows all taped up.And anyway, that side was really run down.
But as we've like drove down and this beach hurts. So yeah, we're just going to go for a little drive.Let Nora and Jonah have a little sleep because we're going to do the disco this evening, which goes from like six till eight. So be nice for them to have like a nice afternoon nap and then we can party all night.
Jamie and the world's biggest ice cream.Oh, Jonah smell ice cream.Jamie's grinning.
He's shaking his head.
Baby, you're sad.You've been sad.What happened?
He was happy and clapping and then he went in sad mode.
He thought we were there and then he was like, are you alright?
Jonah's at this really cute age where he like pretends to be sad.He does it all the time. He'll say like, are you sad?And he will literally be like, it's just the cutest thing ever.
You're not really sad, are you?Cause you're never sad.
Ibiza DJ set here.I was like, wow, it's giving Ibiza, yeah, we've come to quiet way. That was, that was overstimulation at its finest.
Now we have to press the start button.
This little red train that we actually saw on TikTok.
We were just coming out of the pier.So we're going on a little Great job.
Thought it was like a train, but it ended up being this really strange like pretty fish ride I don't know.We were like, we're just really confused like wait, we thought this was the train.
It goes into the ocean.
It was really strange and it lasted for about 10 seconds. But I saw it coming out from here.Did you? When I got into a seahorse instead of a train carriage, I did think this doesn't look like the train.Long day. We're just decompressing before the kids' disco.

I've had to bribe Noah with sweets to get a picture with old mum.
I gave him a quid as well.
I was like, please, get a picture with me, Noah.I'll give you some sweets.
Guess what I've had on all day.
Sweeties.
Sweeties.The five pound thing.
from the dinosaur park. They've been alright, my feet are a bit sore to be honest. Are they actually?Well, just a bit like, worn out.Hi.
I do feel like I've got four hands.
Just trying to have a minute. You've got a blooming koala next to you.

A monkey climbing up the post.
Just a dad trying to enjoy his beer.

You can see how it's got the big slides and big underwater and a big slide and a big playground.
no and there was a train but we went on the road but we went on the road with the other train and i saw them when we went home but we didn't go on it and they were kind of just very reserved and kind of just wanted to get out of there.Like Noah did say, Daddy, can we go?It's too loud.Tell me he's my son without telling me.
Like they are us as people, like me and Jamie also like really don't like loud, busy environments.
So maybe they're just the same. But yeah, we didn't spend long in there.Eight o 'clock, we're about to order some food.Jamie, Noah and Jonah are outside playing with They made friends with the three little boys in the cabin opposite ours before we went to the disco.and it's just so cute seeing them make friends at this age i think especially because noah's starting school in september i'm obviously a bit nervous that like i'm nervous about how he's how he's kind of like gonna make friends and it's just really reassuring to see him be confident and go up to like a little group of boys and say do you guys want to play with my rocket and yeah they're just playing together outside it's so nice actually having these later evenings um with the kids like we they didn't go to bed until about half nine last night and it was just so nice oh my goodness they're all calling him dad i can just hear like multiple little boys voices going dad all playing football that's very cute.Do you know what I was thinking when we were walking back to our caravan is something I really really really love about this place is just the sheer amount of little children playing outside like late at night like I just feel like life isn't like that anymore um but it's just it just feels really nice and safe here and it's really like cute to see just children playing on their little scooters and yeah it's just good vibes here we're having a great time it's chaotic as always like any kind of holiday with young children is chaos but it's the best kind of chaos and we're having the nicest time um i absolutely loved going to great yarmouth like pier today it was so good it was just pure nostalgia arcades, boomer music, 2p machines, seagulls, ice creams, it was just like a proper simple summer holiday and it just yeah it feels really nice.
So plans for this evening are we are probably going to wind down soonthere's something actually here that makes me i just had you perched in a cupboard so we'll close that cupboard something here that makes me really happy they don't have netflix or anything like that we've gone we've gone way way back in time instead we have dvds i've not used a dvd in the longest time and it actually makes me feel a bit sad and i actually think That's why kids are, like, so overstimulated all the time, because there's just so much choice with everything in life. And then it made me think really deeply, obviously, because that's what I do.But I feel like Noah is, like, constantly from thing to thing to thing to thing.Joan is a little bit more chilled and will sit and kind of, like, watch a full programme, or, like, sit and play with something. But Noah is just, like, so like he'll watch like 10 minutes of an episode and want a different episode on and a different one.
And it only really made me realise this because we had a Peppa Pig DVD on and he was like, I want the next episode, I want this episode, I want that episode. Please tell me I'm not the only mum living in hell.when the words come out your child's mouth which are, Mummy, I want the Peppa Pig episode where they all fly on unicorns and they go round and round and then they go to the beach and then they go on a slide and Mr Ball digs up the road but not any old road like it's a particular road.Trying to decipher which episode they are talking about, honestly, it's about as hard as finding the Philosopher's Stone. And it just made me realise that we're just in a world now that's like so over stimulating in every single aspect like there's so much choice for absolutely everything um what a nice noise that is by the way like i'm just thinking like hearing the kids like laughing and screaming and playing is just like suchjust a really really lovely sound.
It's making me feel actually a little bit emotional because I just feel like life isn't like this anymore.Bring back the 90s.I feel, this is where, this is where I'm getting to.Coming here is almost like having a simple summer again, and it's taking away like all the convenience.Like in the caravan we have no signal, no Wi -Fi, and it's almost like forced us to like not be able to go on our phones, not have Netflix at our every convenience, not have YouTube at our every convenience for like programs for the kids and it's kind of made us just go back in time a bit and it's been bloody lovely.Although something real bad did just happen to me and it's a little bit TMI, but I just had the worst stomach of my entire life in a public toilet.
In a public toilet, that's actually never happened to me. I had to run.So embarrassed.I had to run through a restaurant into the toilet.I was in there for a long time and it was a real bad time.Um, and then I, the worst part was I had to do the walk of shame like 15 minutes later through the restaurant.I actually feel fine now.
I was a little bit scared that it was a sickness bug, but I think it was just, just, just a bad tummy.Um, but that was so embarrassing.
Like walking back through the restaurant, I was like, hi guys, it's me.Just nearly died in the toilet.
Um, but yeah, I don't really know if I'm gonna have any food My stomach still feels a bit iffy and I'm a bit scared.Oh, I can see them playing together Oh, this makes my heart happy. It's so cute.Like Noah when we went to the Tots disco He was like mummy. Are they my friends?I was like, yeah, you're gonna make loads of new friends
especially when you start school. And I can tell he's nervous about it, because every time I kind of mention school, he tends to go a little bit quiet and doesn't really want to talk about it.And it's just creeping up so quickly, like I cannot believe. It's pretty much in like a month and a bit that he starts school. And yeah, I'm very nervous about it.I'm really, really, really nervous.
And I'm trying not to have that nervous energy, especially around him, because I don't want him to pick up on that.I do think kids pick up on your mood, on your energy.Oh my god, that gigantic seagull's back. There must be some food around.
Oh, they've seen me.My hiding time is over.Let me go join them.
Look who's back. He's after the frazzles. No, no!The entire bag of frazzles.I got them back.He dropped them.
But they're just so savage, aren't they?Like, how did he even smell them through the packet?I've lost my shoes!Where are they? That was so funny.Just going off with a packet of blooming frazzles for all his mates.
He's like, hey guys!Look what I got!He's back!No!Not again!No!

I feel sorry for him.
Is he hungry?Or is he just greedy?Who's back?Look who's back.
Just eat some of your cake Jonah.
So cheeky He's got icing all round his beak. It's okay. We'll get you a new bit.
To the caravan. We've had a busy old morning this morning It's Jamie's birthday So we had a really nice relaxed morning together at the caravan and then we actually were able to book on to a last -minute Swimming session and then after that we went for breakfast, which was a lot less chaotic than it was the other day I think the key to going out for food with children is to make sure They have done some kind of like activity to wear them out before and they're actually hungry there's been a couple of times where we have taken them out for dinner and Maybe you had like snacks before or something and they just were not really hungry, but we had a nice relaxing breakfast and Then we've just come back to the caravan.Noah and Jonah are just playing with their little friends again.I'm just getting ready for the day. We're actually popping over to our friend's house, who live really close by, um, soon, so that'll be nice. But something I really wanted to share with you is I bought a couple of bits from Merit, the makeup brand, which I've actually never used, and I am obsessed.
I bought the complexion stick.the bronzer, the blusher, and the highlight. And these four products are all I've been wearing over the years.couple of days.I feel like it makes like a going away or like super quick mum makeup that looks really natural but you feel put together, skin looks glowy and it's just like a really simple little capsule makeup routine.Because I usually bring my whole makeup bag with me and it's just a lot.
It's been really nice to not have to really Take much time getting ready. So the complexion stick is so good.I'd probably say this is my favorite I usually just pop a little bit of this under my eyes mainly just to like even out my skin tone It's so nice to actually not have something all over my face like a like a skin tint or a foundation sometimes even a skin tint for days where you just want a little something sometimes a skin tint even feels a bit much so I just put this under my eyes I got the shade linen and it's a really really nice color it's kind of like feels a bit I don't know it's like a How do I even explain this product? It's just so nice.It blends like a dream.Like literally requires no blending at all and it almost like melts into your skin.
It's quite, quite full coverage.Like it really does cover any under eye bags, any like imperfections you want to cover.Like it's not super lightweight. It's just a really, really nice product if you don't want to wear foundation. So I usually just pop this kind of like under my eyes and then I'll blend it.on any other bits of my face that need it.
Then I got the bronzer in shade Clay. This is so nice.It is like butter. And as you can see, like it's very, very natural.I feel like all of Merit's products are very natural, but just for like an everyday, really quick and easy makeup.especially when you're going away, and you don't want to take loads.
This is so nice so I've just put some of my cheeks on my forehead nose chin and I got this little Like dense brush as well, which is really nice, and it just blends out so Super seamlessly like look blended takes five seconds, and it just looks really natural glowy Then the blush I got shade Beverly Hills. This is like the perfect Rosy peachy pink and I'm just gonna apply this on the top of my cheekbones As you can see, it's just a really nice natural color and then with the same brush.I'm just gonna blend this Yes, darling surprise So as you can see, those three products just leave your skin looking so just refreshed and glowy, but natural.I feel like these products are the perfect no makeup makeup. So yeah, absolutely love them. And then I did actually get the highlighter as well, which I don't really apply highlight that much anymore, but this is like a stick and it is the definition of just like a healthy glow.
So you should just put it straight on my skin.As you can see, it's not too much.Again, it melts into your skin.Pop it on my nose. And I actually feel like with this product, as the day goes on, it just looks nicer and nicer. And like, it just melts into your skin.
It's just so nice.So nice.Just gives you the most natural, healthy glow. And like I said, I love the fact that I can just take four productsaway with me in my makeup bag and That's like my skin sorted I haven't got to use lots of other products and I actually don't use any powder either which I usually always use a bit of powder and that's everything I'll do something I've been loving I mentioned this I think in my last vlog is the Spray serum.I got this from Amazon.
The only thing is, if you've got freshly washed hair, put something over your hair, because it does make your hair really, really, really greasy if you're like spraying this on your face and it's getting your hair.Um, I've been in the swimming pool today, so my hair will probably just stay in this claw clipper.I might just like pop, I've got like a little bucket hat or a cap, so I might just pop that on, because I forgot to bring any shampoo or conditioner or anything, but um, We're going home tomorrow anyway, so it's absolutely fine.Stop talking whilst I do that.I finish it with this.Again, gives you a really nice healthy glow.
It's a spray serum, so it's great for your actual skin. And look how glowy my skin is. I love it.Honestly, I've been trying a lot of new products recently, like almost trying to simplify my skincare routine and just have a couple of products that I know that I can just take.anywhere i go and they're always gonna just look really natural and nice so yeah i'm really chuffed with these and i feel like they are definitely worth the investment so plans for now are we're gonna head over to rod and becky's spend a couple of hours there and tonight's actually our last night i'm so sad it's our last night i could definitely spend more time here.I said to Jamie I kind of wish we'd done like five nights.I feel like seven would be maybe a little bit too long, but five nights I feel like would be perfect, and I definitely want to come back here.
This has been one of, so far, one of my favourite little getaways we've ever done. It's just been chill and relaxing.like actually relaxing for parents as well.Usually holidays aren't anything but relaxing for mum and dad, but um, no, it's been lovely. It's been really, really, really lovely. So I think this evening we're just gonna have a chill evening, try and come back to the caravan for like a bit of a decent time, maybe like 5, 6.
So then Noah and Jonah can just play outside with their little friends, we're gonna order some fish and chips to the caravan tonight, and yeah.
We are now back at the caravan and this is Jonah's new favourite place to hide.

Hello?
Where's Jonah gone?
Just relaxing, watching Room on the Bridge. Is that your doggy noise? This guy is so chill. It amazes me every day just how chill Jonah is.He truly just goes along with the flow. He's just here for a good time, honestly, this child.
You're so nice.
I was so happy when I was looking through the DVDs and I saw Room on the Broom. You know how much I love a bit of Julia Donaldson. It's just, I just think they're the coziest, loveliest stories.Room on the Broom is one of our favourites.Sheep.Yeah it's now five o 'clock Noah and Jamie have just gone to go on like these little carts that we've seen around the park which look really fun we wanted to do like a family one but Jonah's a little bit too little to go on there you have to be over three so I'm thinking if we come again next year we can all go on one of the little family ones which will be fun but Noah spotted them basically as soon as we came into the park on Friday.
And I managed to get a spot today. So they are going on those for about an hour. And then I've actually ordered fish and chips to the room tonight. We didn't end up getting anything last night. We actually just had some bits and bobs that I bought with us.Such a lovely sunny evening, like we've been so blessed with the weather.
It's been just perfect. It's been like 20, 21 degrees, which is probably my ideal weather for the summer like anything above 23 is too hot for me so yeah we've had some really really lovely evenings and like the sun sets through the trees so it just looks and feels so lovely at like seven eight o 'clock where the sun is setting through the trees it just feels just such a nice feeling so yeah they're going to be back in about an hour and then our food is coming about half six so we're just going to have a chilled evening in the lodge tonight and noah has made a little plan with his friends that he's made that they're going to build a gruffalo house later with all the sticks and stuff that's around the cabin so that'll be very cute it's been so nice watching them play together and we've had a really nice day we went over to our friend's house this afternoon um they only live about 15 minutes from the actual holiday park so that was really nice and it was actually my first time seeing their house and i just can't stop thinking about it it was sowhimsical, like I actually said that this is genuinely what I would imagine like Beatrix Potter's home to be like or like, I don't know, it reminded me of something from The Wind in the Willows, like I've just gone underground and it's the Badger's house or something. It was just, I don't know, it's really inspired me to Be a bit braver with things decor wise in our new house.I feel like I stick to neutrals because they're safe for me.Neutrals are my safe place.
And you can't really go wrong and I feel like you can change up quite a lot of things.
Oh sorry, took my hand away.I'm shum shum.Am I not allowed to move my arm?
That's a nice cuddle.Can mummy have a nap?Shall we go sleep?
Do you wanna go sleep?
Finn.
What a big mouth you have.
Now, did I still think I would be breastfeeding Jonah at two years old?Actually, never did. Before I actually breastfeeded, because I bre - breastfeeded?Breastfed.Because with Noah, breastfeeding never worked out, whereas with Jonah, he just picked it up straight away, and it's been so, so smooth, our entire breastfeeding journey. And I've actually, like, really, really enjoyed it, to the point where I'm gonna be so sad when it comes to an end.
Hence why I'm still breastfeeding. But I used to actually say to myself like, oh I could never breastfeed when they were walking over to me asking for milk. And I actually feel really guilty for ever like I ever judged other mums because I like to think I'm a very open -minded person and I don't judge people but I don't know I always thought to myself like oh no I could never I could never breastfeed like past one I could never breastfeed once they're crawling and moving and talking but it's honestly just one of I mean the rolling round is not fun he literally does acrobats whilst he is on my boob like sometimes he like fully rotates as if my nipple is portable right like like he's doing now um but i honestly find it like such a special time and i actually love in the evening when it's bedtime we've done our bedtime routine and it's time for jonah to go off to sleep it's just like such a lovely time that's just us and i feel like it's made him a really cuddly boy as well it's just a really really special time and I actually feel like the longer you breastfeed, the easier it becomes.Like, I have no idea how much milk I have now.Like, I don't - If any of you have breastfed, you know in the early days of breastfeeding where you can tell when your baby needs a feed because your boobs feel full of milk?Mine don't ever feel like that now.
They are basically just - They literally look - They resemble an inflated balloon. That's what they're looking like these days, after two children. And breastfeeding for two years. But, I don't know, like, They don't feel like they've ever got milk in, but then they do, because I sometimes see the milk.I think breastfeeding is such a passion.thing and actually throughout my like breastfeeding journey with Jonah so many people like be really really opinionated about it and say like oh my goodness he's two, he doesn't need milk, like it's setting yourself up for bad habits and they don't need to be breastfed past nine months.
I've heard, like, I've had a lot of people say that to me.And some people are, like, really, really, really passionate about it, like, really quite forceful with their words about it, and I just, um, I don't know, I feel like with my second child, I, like, have much more of a, like, mum's intuition, whereas with Noah, because I'd obviously never been a mum before, just pulling my hair out of my skull, could you not do that, sir?I tried a thought.I feel like I've been breastfed shamed quite a lot over the past, definitely year, since Jonah's been a bit older. And I always get people saying like, when are you gonna stop breastfeeding? And I actually don't have a plan to stop.

Get started freeObviously I'm not gonna be breastfeeding when he's like 12, like don't get me wrong. But I'm kind of just feeling like he'll stop when he's ready. And I would love for it to come to a natural end.Something I really don't want, I just can't.My mama heart cannot.I really don't want to have to say to him like, no more milk, no more milk, like it doesn't come from there anymore.
Like I don't, I really don't want to have to say to him like no more milk or refuse him breast milk.Like that, I just couldn't.I really couldn't.Um, are you listening to everything I'm saying? He's like, yeah, mom. You're not telling me there's no milk.
I guess we'll just go with the flow and then see when Jonah decides that he doesn't want it anymore, which I think will be a really, reallyend of an era for me.Um, because like I said, I've enjoyed it so much. And anyway, that was a breastfeeding debrief that no one asked for.Oh my goodness, look who I can see out the window. Our friend's back, Jonah.
He's come back to see if there's any more birthday cake.
Hello, darkness my old friend.
Look Jonah, he's back.Hello.He wants your hat, does he?I don't think he wants your hat. He'll probably take it though.I think he's after anything.
He's actually licking his lips. It's okay, we'll have some fish and chips soon, which I'm sure you'll try and swipe.I don't think he wants your hat, darling.Wow, Jonah, love your new shoes.
You look like Pingu.Seagull wants to see your new shoes, Jonah.Watch he doesn't take them.Jonah's having a little go.
You pedal real quick in them.
Yeah.
So you're whizzing around the park on them.
Hi everyone! When I'm going to come back, we're going to build a house down on the ground right here.
Noah's testing out the Gruffalo house. What do we think, Noah?We need what?Measure? What do we need a tape measure for?It needs to be bigger.
Well, we could get some more big sticks and do this round here, and then it can go all the way round the tree. You want to make a tape measure out of some wood?Hmm.Well, what we could do is measure it with a stick. So we could go like one, two, three, four.So that's four sticks long.
And then you could do it up each one.So see how long each stick is.Then we can work out how many sticks we need.We need to fix that bit.How do we fix that bit?Hammer.
Hammer it.Hammer, hammer, hammer, hammer, hammer. And some screws. We don't have any screws. It'd be good if we did, because we could nail them all together.
Screw, screw, screw, screw.Screw, screw, screw.
I've got my drill.I don't need a drill.Oh.throw it away then.What about my saw?Do we need a saw?

I think he's gone in your shorts, babe.Watching that spider go in Noah's shorts.
You're very brave, Noah, with spiders. You love them, don't you? Please don't say you want a tarantula as a pet.You got a screwdriver?Go on, then. What are you going to do with your screwdriver?
Wow, that's good.
Well, we need to do like this.
Fish and chips just got delivered to our little lodge. We've got a selection of everything.Cod, sausage, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce, ketchup and mayo.Jamie's got a bread roll.Oh, have you put chips in your bread roll?A chip butty.
Chip butty.Noah always makes chip butty.
I know he does. And he always says, my daddy makes it.Oh yummy Noah. What's the sausage like?Did you say it's not very nice?Good.
Is it?Oh good.
There you go.Noah likes it.
Jonah. You doing a mukbang? You doing a fish and chip mukbang?Do you like curry sauce?Would you like to try a bit?
Noah looks like he comes off Stranger Things today.
Nice.Ooh, Jonah likes curry sauce.Yeah, I thought that early when you sent me the picture.
What?
Of him stood there, he looked like he was from Stranger Things.Don't know why.I think it's his hair and the collared top.The denim shorts and probably the trainers.Just the entire vibe.
90s vibes.80s.80s?

Oh my god.
Back when he could smell our fish and chips.A seagull's favourite delicacy. Here he is.Watch out Jonah, he will get that bit of bread out your mouth.and he's stolen a bread roll.an entire bread roll.

So cute.So this seagull's had so many good things off us this weekend. He's had an M &S croissant.Birthday cake this morning, nearly an entire pack of frazzles and a bread roll.Hi Bodhi!
Oh Noah's saying goodbye to all his friends.I actually feel so emotional to be leaving.I feel like I'm gonna actually shed a tear.I wish we were staying longer.
I feel well sad like packing everything up.We have to come back again.Part of me is like, do I book a trip for August?it's just been so so lovely I think our plans for today are we need to be out of the caravan by 10 so I think we're gonna go for a drive down to the beach I didn't really go on the beach the other day we kind of just did the arcade so I'm thinking go for a nice little play on the beach and then head home This is the life.
Last morning on holiday, and Noah's eating some rainbow cake out of a saucepan on the porch. This is the life.Noah? You just said goodbye to your friends, didn't you?Yeah.Ready to go home?
You look ready to go home.Got your little backpack on.
You wanna go home?Wanna stay here forever?
No.You wanna go home?Did you say goodbye to your seagull friend?
Before I pack this away, I have to show you this.part in our relationship now where the cards that we get each other are just like really the worst pictures that we can find of each other when we put them on the card.
He's gonna kill me for showing you this. This is when he had conjunctivitis. This is Jamie sleeping. He laughed about this one because it looked like he had the black hole for his mouth.Oh my goodness.I was laughing so much when I made this.
Luckily he found it funny when he opened it.
We've just come for a little bit of lunch at this really cute spot called the Little Venetian. It literally feels like we're abroad. It's so nice.I did see this place actually on TikTok and the food looked really, really nice.I think we're going to order some smoothies and then they do like open sandwiches or for catchers. It's so nice.
There's like little boats that you can go on.I feel like it's a little hidden gem of Great Yarmouth because it doesn't look like the rest of Great Yarmouth. When I actually saw it on TikTok, I thought, are you sure that's in Great Yarmouth? But it's well nice.I'm glad we ended up coming here.
We should get you some nice food and get you a cheese sandwich.Yeah? That's a naughty bird.
That's a naughty bird, is it?No, he's a nice one.Hopefully he doesn't steal your sandwich.
Oh, the menu looks so nice.We actually missed breakfast, but they do like open sandwiches, paninis, focaccia.I think I'm gonna get an open sandwich the prosciutto rocket and tomato. That sounds really nice Oh, no, I'm sure it's a sugar a minute ago imagine lunch looks so delicious We all got smoothies.I also got a banana bread latte, which I'm so excited abouttry.
And then I got the open sandwich.Jamie got the focaccia.Looks so nice.Mmm.I love a smoothie.Thank you.

I think that's the nicest arse - I said arse latte.Ice latte.Mmm.
I've ever had. It's like, it tastes cinnamony. You want this?Nice, it's like cinnamony.Basically just tastes exactly like banana bread.
Jonah, there's a seagull. He's eyeing up your sandwich, Jonah. Not again.Mother look the seagulls there. There is no graceful way to eat this sandwich.
I love having a selection of drinks as well.Yeah, I know I caught that off you Got a selection of drinks.I love having like a coffee Smoothie, I would actually love to have like a diet coke as well But I thought that was a bit excessive to have three drinks, but I love having a selection drink that I need to recreate that at home I guess I've just buy some banana bread syrup. That's so nice
Where's Jonah gone?Where's he gone? This is the life.Jonah's fully fell asleep.
Being pulled along the seafront in your beach car.Just having a little snooze. We're just heading down to the beach.Banana bread latte in hand.Blooming lovely.Oh yeah, so this is the place that we've just been.
So I feel like you can see it properly. So nice.Like the food was so nice.Would recommend. It was blooming lovely. And it's right next to the beach as well.
