Good morning, everyone.Welcome back to another weekly vlog.It's Monday, 11 something.It's past 11 .11 because I made a wish on 11 .11 about five minutes ago.I am matching Bowdoin today.I have my black overalls and green top on because also Bowdoin has black overalls and a green top on.

He looks so cute.We are off to Next.I got it right.Yes, I did get it right.It's not new.Look, it's next.

To actually try and find one of those baby rockers.I've heard really good things about them.So I am going to go and see if we can get him one.Because we always just put him laying flat on his mat.And he loves it because he loves that playing with all the bits.But if we can get a nice rocker, I think it might just take a bit of pressure off the back of his head.

So that's what we're going to do today.We've had a really busy weekend of work.This is kind of like our Sunday in a way.Let's go, shall we?Yeah, let's go.Hey babe.

Anything with your feet really hurts.It's not tight enough.On there like that.A little bit later on in the day I have come out to use my oxygen chamber now basically a lot of people have been asking me about this in my messages so the company is called oxidize and you sit in like a chamber right and and inside the chamber you get maximum oxygen, doing at 99 % oxygen.So you're flooding all your cells with more oxygen for them to do what they need to do.So you get less tired, you recover quicker, all that kind of thing.

This is what it looks like inside.Some would say it's claustrophobic, but actually I am a claustrophobic person and I don't get claustrophobic in here.I think It sounds scary, but it's actually not.So anyway, I'm gonna do a quick half an hour session.Normally I would do an hour session, but me and Jo are tag teaming at the moment, so I can only fit in half an hour, but that's fine.Half an hour is better than nothing.

It's raining so much, bubba.It's just past lunchtime on our Tuesday, and it is raining so much out there.In fact, I think it's hailing again.look the hail's hitting here baba look at all this hail i was meant to go out to the shops because there's a few things that i need to do joe also had to go out and do a few things we've decided to let joe go first and then when he comes back he'll look after bowie and then i'll go becausedon't really want to take him out in this rain, do we?Because otherwise we have to get you a little bit wet.

Even though you probably love it, love the sound, love the look of it.Yeah, he's looking outside like, wow, that's so cool.Yeah, if you're anything like your mama, you'll love the sound of rain and a storm and I just love that kind of vibe.Anyway, today we actually had a little meeting with a lady from Sleeping Bunnies.Her name's Anna and she's incredible.And basically, she explains everything there is to know about babies and their sleep.

Obviously, every baby is different, so.it's all very trial and error.But it's so interesting to learn about baby's sleep and the way they self -soothe themselves and just basically trying to get the best sleep for him first and foremost.But then also, if he gets a good sleep, then we get a good sleep.Yeah, I learned a lot today, which was really good.Now, I'm actually doing lots of mum bits today.

Now, I am going through breast pump.Most of them are from Elvie.There's one from Vital Baby.I've used the Vital Baby one, but actually, it didn't last very long.It's actually broken.That would have been my fault.

I don't think it was the actual fault of the company at all.The only thing is, I find all this pump situation, So confusing.So I just need to properly sit down and have a good read.Oh, look, instructions for use.Okay, I need that.For now, I'm just going to read and try and work them out.

Currently out without the baby.Just on my own and I don't think I've been shopping on my own since he was born.I may be wrong.I can't remember.if i have or not i don't think i have because right now i feel like i'm missing something like i'm missing biggest part of me which is my little boy i literally left i've been gone five minutes and i messaged joe like is he all right how is he so um yeah this is just a test of what it's going to be like to start back at work again i'm actually at the garden center i'm going into the little food section in the garden center because they have um like nice little chocolate coated nuts and things and i haven't had them in a while and i really miss my chocolate coated nuts so i'm just gonna go get some of those really mama is back mama also stopped in at a charity shop we've got a wedding to go to in july and i don't know what to wear and i just found a little dress i haven't been to a wedding in a long time i can't remember the last time i went to a wedding But it's exciting, little man's coming as well, aren't you?Because Joe is best man.

Oh, you know what?It was Casper and Amber's wedding, was the last wedding we went to, and Joe was not best man, but he was a groomsman.And is black a big no -no to go to a wedding?I mean, I've saw all that Molly May stuff.She wore black to Tommy, not Tommy Furies, The Other Fury.Oh God, I'm terrible with names.

I watched their documentary and everything.Anyway, she wore black to a wedding and she got a lot of slack for it.Is that a no -go?I can't remember.I'm no white.I know you don't wear white to a wedding because that's what the bride wears, but I didn't know black was like such a bad thing to do at a wedding.

I'm pretty sure I've worn black to a wedding before.Anyway, we are gonna go and get dinner started, and then I'm gonna take you for a walk.So tonight I am making, what am I making tonight?Good old cottage pie, but instead of having potato on top, I'm gonna do sweet potato on top.So, I found a recipe here on Good Food, BBC Good Food, and basically, We need beef mince, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, tomato puree, beef stock, glass of red wine.Okay, so first things first, I need to cook my beef.

Now, I'm gonna cook a double batch because that means that I can freeze.My favorite thing to do is freeze and have an annihilated day, you know what I mean?Whose life is based off of what you ate a lot of when they were in the tummy.I'm not too sure if that's the case or not.I'd like to think it is but, I don't know if that's how it works.Probably not.

The only thing I don't have, Jo, is Worcestershire sauce.I can't say it.Can you Google what's the substitute for Worcestershire sauce?I can't say it.Worcestershire sauce.And from cooking to a lovely walk in the countryside with my little boy.

So like I said earlier, I'm taking him on an earlier walk, which means daddy can't come because he's in meetings right now.We're back.It is now 6 .15.I have pre -made the What do you call it?Shepherd's pie?No.

Shepherd's?I can't remember what it's called.It's looking really, really good.I need to basically bang the oven on.I'm going to take Bowie up to have his bath, feed him, put him to bed, and then me and Jo are going to have dinner.

Honestly, I have so much stuff.I'm such a...I just love anything to do with wellness and well -being.Anything that makes you feel good, I'm obsessed with.I always have been.I will then, once I get off this, do a little bit of skincare, brush my teeth, and then I'm gonna hit the hay.

He's back in his pram now, but genuinely this is heaven.Coffee outside in the sunshine, especially when it's just like a rare occasion that you get the sun.Hopefully it's going to stay a little bit longer.But there's obviously been a lot of rain last night because the floor's wet and all the plants are very wet.So it must have rained out.Little blue skies and an aeroplane.

Good.um but basically now because i made so much of it i'm freezing like little meals so that we can take these out whenever we're like shit we've got nothing in the house and have a lovely cooked meal so that's what i'm just doing now i'm distributing it into these cute little glass containers i bought a very long time ago but they've come in handy getting myself ready to go into the shops just put on Found these in the cupboard.These are the comfiest shoes I have ever tried.I wore them for my walk yesterday.They're called Sketchers Slip -Ins.Not an ad or anything, just wanted to share how comfy they were.

And I think they look quite cute on.Some people might think otherwise, but they've got an arch control.And I can't, yeah, arch fit.Oh, honestly, it feels like I'm wearing a glove.They don't really match what I'm wearing either.Blue with brown, but that's how comfy they are.

I don't really care.We've arrived at the shops and I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping little man would fall asleep in the car.He didn't, but that's okay.That's fine because he'll probably fall asleep as we go around the shops.I just wanted to say there was no baby spots for me. I usually come here and I get really excited because there's always the baby bays available, but no such luck today, but that's all right.We're coming to B &M, which is one of my favorite little shops.

It's a mop with strawberries on it.I don't need it, but I really like it and I kind of want it.So it's dangerous coming into shops like this because the things you don't need, oh my god, stop.They've got the matching oil dustpan and brush as well.too cute but what i do need is some baby coat hangers so i'm gonna get some of those oh these are cute little man should be going to sleep he's not i'm gonna grab a pack of these yeah because it's got trouser clips which has got a lot of trousers at the moment i might actually get a couple of those three pounds yeah that's good i'm gonna get a couple of those we ended up getting daddy a little present from there for father's day and also tell you what sunshine doesn't last long does it it's already raining literally gone from one extreme to another outside i'm actually quite cold what did we get i know joe's not gonna watch this so i bought joe for father's day a little present from his dove birds also from baui but i thought it would be cute to also get him a little something from his birds because he is literally like the bird's dad and how cute is this It's a little swing that you put your bird feed in.Then I've got this, which I've never tried before.

So basically this Elvie, this is called the Elvie Stride, and it comes with two pumps so you can do both at the same time.However, right now I've only got the one in.I really like the Elvie.I can't complain.It does have an app that you connect to as well, but basically on the app, it'll tell you how much milk you've collected, how long you've pumped, what time you've pumped.But for me, this was easy to understand and easy to work, so this was a good one.

i'm just grateful i saw it and it didn't catch a light so i'm going to have to order something for dinner because i didn't i don't have any backup i do have some things in the freezer but i would have had to have taken that out earlier luckily we do have a very good chicken place on delivery so i'm probably just going to order that for us what a shame that is a big fail look joe reckons that i've grilled i've put the theon grill.I swear to you, I haven't.There's no reason for that to burn.It's so weird.It's never happened to me before.

Unless did you preheat the oven.Preheat the oven, the grill bars turn on to help heat the oven up to get to temperature quicker.So if you didn't wait for it, if you put it straight in and you didn't preheat the oven, Joey's already found the answer.The parchment paper might have been set on fire from the grill bars being used to heat the oven up to temperature quicker.That's why you should always preheat.

Good boy.Okay, we are making sourdough pancakes for breakfast this morning.I looked up a recipe and I sent it to mom and I was like, that seems like a lot of sourdough starter in that recipe.So she has actually sent me another one.that she used, so we're going to use that.Let me take you through how it's made.

We've got one third of a cup of coconut flour.My mum's actually just messaged me saying, did they work?Once I've mixed it all together, I will give her a call.Three quarters of a cup of milk, three quarters of a cup of milk, two eggs, a little dash of vanilla extract, one teaspoon of baking powder.You want two tablespoons of sourdough starter and a little bit of maple syrup.Give it a little taste test.

You can really taste the sourdough in it, but I like that.I wonder if Joe will.All right, let's start cooking then and I'll call my mum in the meantime.These have turned out very good apart from that one.That one broke, but they're looking amazing.Here we have it.

It's that time of the week.Sourdough is back.Sourdough making.I haven't done it in a vlog for the past two weeks, I don't think, or maybe just week.But I have done my starter last night.So that has been brewing away this whole time.

And now, mum told me what this does as well, mixes it up.

Now I'm gonna make my sourdough.

And today we're gonna put these in whilst it's proving.I can't remember how I do this.Genuinely don't remember.Okay, 200 of this.Oh, this looks like a good starter.Smells so strong.

So now we need 500 grams of bread flour.I'm gonna use this Canadian white bread flour.I'm actually gonna do 400 and 100.It's so annoying.Scales went off as I was pouring it.Why does something always happen?

It's so annoying.How am I gonna know?For a rough estimate of like, how frustrating is that?It just turned off.This is not gonna work today.Okay, let me say that was 100 grams in there.

I wanna say 300 grams of water.Who knows, it might be the best one that I've made.I believe that happened though.It's so annoying.I've done all this wrong, guys.I was meant to activate the water and the sourdough first, together, but I've just plonked it all in together.

Mum, if you're watching, you're going to be highly upset.My mum's been still watching videos on how to make sourdough every single day, she told me.Although, this is looking nice and shaggy.I didn't activate the water and the sourdough first, which is definitely what you're meant to do.To be fair, it actually is looking quite good.Now we set a timer for half an hour.

In half an hour's time we assess our time.I've got a little mate with me now for our first fold.So I don't think this is going to work out guys.

I don't think I've done it right.Two, three, four folds.I wonder if I should.

Don't ask me why I'm obsessed with putting these flowers in there.I just have this strange obsession with putting flowers into my sourdough.Can't see any of the flowers that I've put in there so far.All right, let's see how that goes.We've done our last fold.Put it in there now for five, six, seven, probably about eight o 'clock, I will then get that ready.

Guys, it's been slow on the vlogging front today.I haven't vlogged too much at all apart from making bread, which I haven't even finished yet.Time has got away from me.It is now seven o 'clock and I've just bathed Bally.And his hair's getting so long now.that I've combed it over and I just need to show you guys because it makes me want to cry.

From the cutest little boy in the world to my bread.Cutest little loaf.That's looking good though.So basically that is now approved.All right, we said 8 o 'clock and it is now 7 .29 so close enough.I'm now going to put this into a baking basket and then I'll bake that in the morning.

Well that turned to shit didn't it?There's no more flowers.

They're inside.

Yeah.I feel like there needs to be some more on top.

Did you make us put them in at the end?

No, apparently no.I'm finally about to use my Dutch oven that I bought a while ago and have not used this Dutch oven yet.So here we go.I've put it in to preheat.It's in there at the moment and it's now preheated to 220 degrees Celsius.It's very hot, hence why I have these little mittens.

I'm going to get it out right now.Also, totally forgot to put salt in the bread.Now, my mom said tip the bread onto the baking.Oh, but that's going to be the top.Now that won't be the top anymore.Three, four, seven, nine.

In the Dutch oven it goes.In it goes.We are gonna cook that for 20 minutes with the lid on, lid off.Oh, I haven't got the lid on.And then 25 with the lid off.I think I should just give up bread making.

I think I should just give it up because I put a timer on for the 20 minutes, which you just saw.I put it in for 20 minutes, lid on.Took the lid off.I put another timer on.Did I press start on the timer?Didn't, didn't do that.

So I wasn't aware of how long it's been in.Anyway, time got away from me.Fed Bowden, put him to sleep for a nap, editing the video, doing all these bits.And then all of a sudden I went, I don't smell any bread being cooked.At some point the oven turned off.I'm having issues with this oven at the moment.

I have no idea how long it's been cooking for.So I've had to just turn.Is it not working again?Yeah, you see, it's still, this oven is doing something weird because I cooked chicken last night and I'm telling you now, it freaks me out.Huh?Yeah.

and like i said the other day when i put that baking paper in as well so odd yeah something's happened with that oven anyway my bread is half cooked half not so i probably won't be able to even show you the finished product of this bloody bread because currently i'll show you the current state of it so see how it's not hot at all no oh no i'm so sad because that is actuallyto be a good life.Yeah, really good life that is.

Why is this not getting hot?

I don't know.If it turns out, I'll show you before this vlog ends.If not, if I show you nothing, you know that it's been a big old fat fail.What I will leave you with though, for sure, is a bit of Oz cam.because my dad has been going to town.He actually sent me clips for last week's vlog and I didn't put them in.

I forgot.And he keeps asking me, have I got them?Have I got the clips?I say, yes dad, I got them all.He went to the football to watch the Dockers play with my mum, my brother and the kids.And it was actually played in Bunbury.

which is very cool.I think it happens once a year.He vlogged a bit of that.So you'll see a little bit of the Dockers play, which is our football team back home.And he's been doing a bit of handiwork around the house.And so he's vlogged a bit of that as well.

It's a razor blade.I don't know if you use scissors anymore.Oh and one of these.Oh that's so exciting.

I could use that for outside.

I'm so excited about things.This is what I've been using.I've been using a cane basket and I've been putting a tea towel in it.
