Well, the people have spoken. One Nation's Fire the Liar campaign has blown up.Pauline Hanson launched the ad blitz to respond to a campaign by Labor and Anthony Albanese.Yesterday morning the fundraiser was at $70 ,000.One Nation was trying to raise a million. But guess what?

0:17

They hit that magic number by about 7pm last night. So this morning it's climbing even higher.James Ashby, One Nation's Chief of Staff is back on the line.

0:27

Almost $1 .7 million this morning and it continues to climb. Can you believe it?No.I will be honest, I set this goal for the end of financial year because people can get that tax deductibility status when they actually give a donation up to $1 ,500.I thought that might prompt a few people, but not the 28 ,000 people that have made a contribution to this campaign. And I might just add, this morning at 11 o 'clock, Ben, The first of the campaign rolls out, we've got trucks with digital billboards across Melbourne, and in Anthony Albanese and Chris Bowen's seats, they'll be stuck in those seats for the whole week.

1:09

And what do they look like? They have Fire the Liar written all over them, do they?

1:14

Exactly the same campaign image as what we've used in the socials and digital space, so it'll just be on the streets now.

1:21

I've described this as one of the most successful political fundraisers in Australian history and I just want to highlight this.So this was yesterday. This was James Ashby with us around this time yesterday when the fundraiser was at about $115 ,000.

1:36

If we're going to get rid of a terrible government, we've got to target Labor only.

1:41

I wouldn't be surprised if you hit a million dollars within 24 hours.

1:44

Well, I'll take more because it's going to be a big campaign. The more firepower we've got, come 2028, the better we can push back and get rid of Labor. That's the key goal here, Ben.Get.Rid.Of.

1:55

Labor.

1:56

I've never seen anything like it.I mean, I know that political fundraisersare nothing new, but I haven't seen a grassroots campaign like this raise a million dollars in under 24 hours before.

2:06

No, I think it will go down in history. It certainly goes down well in my history books. So look, it is big. It's going to give us that firepower. And as I said, we're going after Labor seats because this is the worst Labor government. In fact, I think it's the worst government we've ever seen in our political history in this country.

2:24

And we've got a trillion dollars' worth of debt now, Ben, because of these silly buggers.I think there's a few more choice words that they use around the pub, but the point of this is we've got to get rid of Albanese in the Labor government. It's not just him. It's Chris Bowen. It's the whole front ministry there.Burke's got to go, the whole lot, every single one of them.

2:46

And that's what this money will do.It will just target those Labor -held seats.

2:49

You've been around politics for a long time, a long, long time. You know what it's like when there's a sense that there's some blood in the water. And I know that people have said before, I think Albo's cooked.I don't think he's going to survive. And then he's come back and he's surprised those critics and, and managed to win again. But I don't know, I've got a feeling this time it's different.

3:10

I think all of those broken promises have added up.

3:13

And we just listed a couple. And the problem that I see is with a lot of Labor's campaign where they were raising $27 from their members, that would have given them a bucket of cash to go and spread more lies. And we've got to push back against that. That's the biggest challenge that we've got, being on the conservative side of politics. There's very few news outlets, 2GB excluded, that actually want to push that conservative narrative. So you've really got to spend a lot of money.

3:48

I heard rumours yesterday that it was 20 grand.Oh no.It's not good.Labour insiders are saying it's very good.and they were thinking it's under $20 ,000.So this is eclipse theirs.

4:01

And Ben, just on another note, you know, we had some negativity from some people within the labor camp and some on the coalition side yesterday, which is a bit disappointing saying that the counter was fake. We've made the decision this morning that we'll get the website independently audited by a forensics team, and they can actually give a stat deck to state that the website is real, the money's real, the counter's real, and let's just put them under bed.

4:27

Yeah, because the Labor Party just can't believe it.They're thinking, well, this can't be real.Surely this must be fake.

4:34

Well, the Australian people have had a gutful, and they've also now been lied to too much, including the recent budget.Nobody's happy with it.There'd be business people right across Sydney and right across this country that don't want the government gouging them with this capital gains tax backflip that they're doing, and they're just going to gouge people with more and more taxes. So I say to those people, instead of paying tax this this season. You know, that's a $1 ,500 tax -deductible donation you can make to fire the liar. And we just extend this campaign to get rid of the Labor Albanese government.

5:10

I've just refreshed the page on your website. It's $1 .699 million at the moment. So by the time you hang up, it'll be $1 .7 million.Just lastly, who came up with the line, fire the liar?

5:24

You wouldn't believe it, but I was talking to Peter Credlin and I was watching her show and I stole it off her.Nothing quite like a borrowed line right then.

5:36

Okay, so Peter Credlin gets the credit.Well done. We'll talk to you soon.

5:40

I don't think the Liberal Party would have been game enough to run this campaign though.

5:43

I don't think so.I don't think so.And you know what? The best idea wins.I was saying this to someone yesterday. The best idea

5:50

wins. And who puts forward the best proposal, that's where the money's going to go.And bang, it's just ticked over right now.$1 .7 million.

5:59

Well done.

5:59

Plus $34.Don't spend it all at once and we'll talk to you soon.See you then.James Ashby. So there you go.It's just hit $1 .7 million.
