He Accidentally Qualified for the Olympics😨🏃

This runner just accidentally qualified for the Olympics while running his very first marathon.Because before this marathon, the furthest the middle distance runner from Bates College had ever done was 10 ,000 meters, where he was usually in the middle of the pack.

I have no words.

But the 24 -year -old decided to prove something to his friends and signed up for the Vermont Marathon just for fun.

The plan for this race was always just to run a marathon for fun.

But somehow, even after mile 20, nobody was able to keep up with him.

I ran the whole thing alone.

And so...

He smashed the course record in his first ever marathon.

Finishing in 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 52 seconds.Not only broke the 37 -year course record by an entire minute, but also qualified for the Olympics.
