You know, Chums, they often say, don't they, that a week is a long time in politics.That's the phrase that they go.And it really does seem like that, particularly when you are covering it on a daily basis, whether it be at Downing Street or Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, that sort of stuff.It now seems so much history since, of course, the former British Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, decided to exit.And when you think about it, even just looking at some footage the other day, I thought, wow, that seems a long time.It's less than a week because of course, you know, it all moved so quickly.

And also do not forget that Keir Starmer, in a sense, only two years in the position, turned out to be one of the most disliked and untrusted British prime ministers of recent times.And as I've often said here on our show, it's really down to the fact that he just wasn't honest.You know, he could have spoke about, well, I've made a real big mistake of, you know, signing up Peter Mandelson as the American ambassador.People might have respected him a bit more, but to keep fudging the issue, to keep blaming other people.

And then, of course, I think he really made the huge faux pas when he got into office and said, the grown -ups are in the room, it's all about transparency.And very quickly we found out that Lord Alley was buying everything, including his underpants, you know, alongside the designer glasses.You just kind of think, oh wow, you know, Taylor Swift followed and everything fell apart very, very quickly.There was truly no coming back from it and everybody behind the scenes, which is now very apparent, the people in scenes senior power.Well, they, of course, were all working against him as well.Out front, the way it works in politics is that they, I'm very much supporting the Prime Minister, he has my full backing.

Behind the scenes, they're wondering, can they get another job?This was very clear even last week when Rachel Reeves was bulleted as the Chancellor of the Exchequer.Only Keir Starmer thought that she could actually add up and do anything good for the economy.She made him look good because ultimately, while everybody was attacking her,hopefully they were going to be leaving him alone.She found out the hard way and then the story went around that he offered her a position.

Yeah, a very lowly position.Once you've had the Grace and Favour house, the house next to, of course, number 10, number 11 down the street, you're not exactly going to take a climb down, are you?And there lies your problem.Behind the scenes though, Keir Starmer again, even at a very final hour, knew this.As ever, let me explain.Morning, good to see you chums, as ever.

Nothing.The big thing is, she talks about, oh, we can get more trams.Trams to where?All the shops have closed down.There's nothing in the high street.It looks like Beirut.

You know, you just think, where?You see what I mean?There's no business acumen.We were told that Keir Starmer had business acumen, right?Clearly not chums.

And here again is where it gets interesting, because if you remember, and this is the thing where lies catch you out.If you remember, he said to everybody up until the final week, week that he was prepared to take on Andy Burnham in some kind of election, Markerfield etc.Now Andy Burnham clearly pea -sized brain because he's basically said he faced the publiclocally when he was doing Markerfold.Yes, but that's, you know, about 25 ,000 people.The other 48 million, yeah, you fancy facing those?

Because according to him, we don't require a general election.Yes, we do.So what's this for Keir Starmer?Well, it's quite simple, you see.What's now emerged is the fact that this whole brand new backstory that we're supposed to believe just happened overnight, the one where everything now moves from London -centric up to Manchester because Andy Burnham prefers just to be up in Manchester.It's a vanity project.

So now we have Number 10 North.Now, this is costing a small fortune because security, extra policing, the building, you name it, there's a lot of money going up there simply because they want to be out of scrutiny.And they know, for instance, that the mainstream media don't have enough money to place people up there 24 -7 and not Not many journalist reporters want to go and live up there.They're hoping to hide away and do all the things that you don't know about up in Manchester.So where does Keir Starmer fit in?Well, what's very clear is that the person who was brought back into the government, the convicted fraudster Louise Haig, she was instrumental in putting all of this together.

Remember, she was fizzing after Keir Starmer booted her out as a transport minister just over a year ago.What's more interesting about this is that Keir Starmer suddenly realised that all this was already set up and also he would have been presented with the people that were actively working against him, knowing full well that he couldn't get, you know, a unified account of what he would need to carry on as the Prime Minister.Remember, in his very final thing, his wife, he said, had told him to carry on, keep fighting, very quickly he was ready to step down and then what we had to put up with was him flying off around the world telling the rest of the worldas a statesman, what a good job he's done.What you can now see is a person who ran away the moment there was a battle that he felt he couldn't win.He didn't take on Andy Burnham.
