And as I revealed earlier on Talksport, Barcelona are leading the race which is somewhat of a surprise because Real had all the player buy -in up until now but Rodri has suddenly opened the door to Barca and they're prepared to move.Now Jose Mourinho and Florentino Perez had spoken about Rodri and Perez had given a mandate to start negotiations with Manchester City but now Barcelona think they've convinced Rodri and this is really a family decision for Rodri.He wants to go to Spain and then of course he has to make a football decision as to whether it's Barcelona or Real Madrid.Real haven't quit the race yet but Barcelona are the ones really accelerating.Man City would prefer to keep Rodri, no breakthrough though in contract talks and although there is a possibility in theory of Rodri just staying and then leaving on a free in the summer of 2027, as it stands Rodri wants to go now.Enzo Maresca a bit different to Pep Guardiola because he'd prefer to double down and of course keep Rodri whereas Pep Guardiola tended to say to more experienced players, that he wouldn't stand in their way.

And yet Maresco is new, so his conversations with the City board will be key to all of this as well.

But it's looking like the direction of travel is a Rodri exit and Barcelona are the frontrunners.In terms of the numbers that City might sell for, I know we've heard some suggestions of 50 million euros.My feeling is it's going to be higher and City would look at Jan -Paul van Gekker, I know he's a defender, but one year left, 52 million pounds.And for a Ballon d 'Or and a World Cup winner and the best player at the last World Cup, you would think City will want more than that £52 million.

So that's a developing story.Then City do like Pedro Neto, who Enzo Maresca had at Chelsea.That's a developing story as well, but Chelsea haven't put a valuation on Pedro Neto as of now.And then Savino, Tottenham are confident on agreeing a fee with Man City, but City would have to get a replacement first if they are to sanction that sale.And just coming back to midfield for Man City, remember they are in advanced talks still with Ayub Bouadi and this is all about Lille and also whether City want to do it now or a pre -agreement or a loan back because if they do the latter that is Lille's preference and then the price would drop according to my information closer to 80 million euros instead of approaching 100 million euros.With Chelsea, Petrovaria is close.

It may even be verbally agreed but the time you are watching this 90 million euros plus add -ons and this was a signing very much driven from Rayo Vallecano by new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso.Outgoings wise for Chelsea, Axel de Sassi and Crystal Palace does have some substance to it.Mikhailo Mudrik's future is going to be one of the most fascinating stories of this transfer window.to all options are on the table.

Just coming back to Tottenham as well, Cody Gatpoe, it's been described to me as quote by one source a fool's errand to negotiate with Gatpoe now because Liverpool need replacements first but if two attack -minded players come in at Liverpool then the door could be open for Gatpoe to depart at a premium price in this inflated market.So Liverpool strongly prefer to keep but at the right nowand with the right additions the door could just become open to Tottenham.Then with Liverpool, Bradley Barker, preliminary talks continue Liverpool have got no intent to pay 170 million euros and Ibrahim Mbaye is another concrete possibility and even though Baye Leverkusen are the team in advanced talks the player would be very open to to Liverpool.Now, with movement on one or both of them, we might suddenly see negotiations advance, simply because PSG have now formalized the move for Magnus at Cluj, who is expected to join from Monaco on a five -year deal.

PSG also wanted Yandier Mande, so they will look at the market and decide if they're going to add another attacker, but now PSG have got one through the door pending formalization and the announcement but everything is agreed there and the player I believe actually at the time I'm recording this is basically signing the contract so as PSG add timing may be right to start negotiating with PSG and then in particular with Bradley Barker we'll find out what the true number is and if this 170 million euro starting price is basically just PSG grand standing.Now with Liverpool I'm hearing a lot of questions about Jed Spence and some are asking me about Manchester United as well.

What's true is that the player is open to a move away because you've got Pedro Porra on one side and Destiny Odogi on the other and he would like regular first -team football.Everton are one to watch.

At this stage there is a willingness from the player to explore a move to several clubs but I'm told from Liverpool sources there's been no approach and there's nothing to get excited about at this current stage.Liverpool will assess right -back and centre -back and central midfield but the first priority is

But at this stage, it's movement between Liverpool and Barcelona and Arsenal are waiting for Vinny Junior to formally confirm he's going to renew at Real Madrid, having made a strong pitch of their own.Arsenal looked earlier in the window at Ilham and N 'Jai.Junior Krupi, another possibility, or at least was, but he's injured.

And even if he was fit, to be honest with you, Bournemouth's perspective really clearly in all of this is that Junior Krupi is not sale this summer and I would also add to the mix one Julian Alvarez because now the player is going to return from the World Cup and this is really important because everybody's been looking at it through the prism of Atleti wanting to keep Barcelona angering Atleti by their approaches, Real Madrid making what many believe was a show bid of 150 million euros, and again frustration from Atletico Madrid at how publicly this has played out.But remember Julian Alvarez wants to leave, ideally to Barcelona, and he is equally as unhappy, Atletico Madrid simply saying as a blanket position, not for sale unless you trigger the 500 million euros release clause.So now the players

is going to hold talks with Atletico Madrid and if he insists, if he doubles down that he doesn't want to play for the football club, then maybe Atleti prefer to sell outside of La Liga rather than to Barcelona and that's where potentially there's a small possibility the door opens to Arsenal and Andrea Berta is well positioned to move should that happen.scenario materialized.
