I Asked AI To Invent A New Color

Is it possible for AI to invent a new color?So, there's exactly 16 ,777 ,216 official colors in existence based on hex codes, and so I wanted to see if it was possible to create a brand new color to mark a new discovery.

I started off by prompting it just to make me a new color, and it ultimately spit out this light green color, which, after using the color picker, showed me that it was already, unfortunately, an existing color.And so I tried this again, getting this color this time, but, once again, it already existed.And I repeated this process over and over and over again, but it kept generating existing colors, which made me think that this was going to be impossible.However, after about 30 minutes of prompting, I was able to direct it into making this color called Event Horizon Bloom, which was a near black ultraviolet indigo with a hidden wine red undertone that only becomes noticeable against warm light.And I can confidently say that it does not appear to be one of the 16 .7 million colors in circulation, so I think you may just be looking at the world's newest color.Pretty cool.
