I Bought the SAME Temu Products 6 Months Apart *SCAM ALERT*

Hey everyone! So today we are doing a very exciting video. In this video we are going to be diving into Teemu again in the name of investigation. Because I and one of you in this comment shared the same curiosity. What do you think would happen if you shopped the same exact item on Teemu three months apart? Do you think the item would look the same? Do you think it would change?

Do you think they'd switch manufacturers and it would be a completely different color? These are the questions that are ringing in my mind. I just like don't fully understand how Teemu is regulated if at all. So I want to know what the quality control is. We've done a similar vibe of video where we bought the exact same item from three different brands, literally purchased the same item from Teemu, which and Shein compared them and the prices, and then we went on to do it again but for Teemu, Amazon, and Etsy, which that was an interesting spin

because when you think of Etsy you don't really think of like dropshipping and stuff, but it was shocking what the findings were in that video. So to continue this series but pivot it in a little bit of a different direction. We are buying the exact same item on Timu, but three months apart. I just have this weird curiosity of if the item will even look the same over that time period. I'm definitely a detective on a useless mission in this video, but hopefully you're intrigued and enticed, and let's get into this and see what we figure out. So yes, in front of me amasses nine entire months of me shopping the exact same items

on Teemu. I don't shop on Teemu in my everyday life, but for this video concept and for the findings that I wanted to figure out, I did have to purchase the items so I could see them and their differences. We have order number one. Notice the Teemu orange packaging does not continue into the other orders,

which I thought was interesting. Not that interesting, but like a little bit. You know, as I am a detective on a useless mission, I noticed the orange was not prevalent in the other two. Also, this package looks like it took a beating

in the mail.

I don't know what that's all about. Order was placed September of 2025. The second order was three months later, December of 2025. And the last order three months later to that one was March of 2026. So yes, this video has taken a very long time to make.

Let's hope our findings are totally worth the time investment.

Let's dive in.

There were a few items that I purchased in the first order that by the time I ordered the second and third they weren't available anymore. This is one of them. It's a recipe book, but like it got super bent in the mail. We have obviously talked before about Timu's working conditions and the concerns there, but putting that aside for a second, this just from a quality standpoint, to be fully bent like this, and even before seeing the bend, this looks nothing like the photo. Like genuinely on the picture on Timu,

the front cover looks like it's gonna be like a fabric with embroidery. This is just a printed version of it. That's not even an item we're gonna be talking about. That was just like worth mentioning. Okay, why don't we start here?

Because this is a really cute farmer's market T-shirt. Let's look at it. For your reference at home, here is the picture on the advertisement on Teemu that we purchased this item from. There is going to be price discrepancies. The first order for this shirt was $14, the second one was just under $10, and the third one was just under $9. So the first one was by far the most expensive. All right, let's see this thing. Here it is.

It looks like the photo. We've got the farmer's market, the organic and the blueberries. Everything's spelled correctly. It just basically feels like a heat transfer, if you're curious.

Okay, made in China, 60% polyester, 35% rayon, 5% spandex. I'm curious to see if the composition stays the same across the three shirts. So let's grab now from the second order Okay for four dollars less. Let's see the second order already. The bag system is different first order had like a foggy hue This one's clear doesn't really matter again

Interesting. Okay This looks like a completely different Transfer basically, it's like totally different colored. Like look at that, this is the first order. It's like way more pure white and the blues are more vibrant. The second order is more of a yellow hue and it's way more muted colors.

Interesting. Shall we see what the third order looks like? Okay, the third one and the most affordable. Let's see. Okay, the fit looks and the most affordable. Let's see. Okay, the fit looks different on this one It's really interesting to me how many different tag options there is for like one

Company to be using because this one looks different than the other two. This one is a hundred percent polyester though I'd say the deckle looks like the second one But the fit of this shirt is completely different. You know, like if I set the second on top of the third, it's like totally different on the bottom. To really see the difference of these shirts, I think we have to put them on and edit it like side by side

so we can really see. So I have to keep track of everything now. Okay, here we are in shirt number one. I mean, it's a basic white t-shirt with a pattern on it. Can't really mess it up. Obviously this isn't about the solo shirt on its own. We need to see it compared to the other ones.

So let me put on the next. Okay, definitely feels like a different fabric. You won't be able to feel it through the screen, but just trust me, this one's a little, I thought it was thicker, but it's actually thinner. It's just kind of softer. It almost feels like an athletic legging, like a really thin athletic legging, if that makes sense.

Definitely less vibrancy on the front here. I think this one's a little longer. I feel like at this point, I'm just comparing basic white t-shirts. Like what has this channel become? And finally we have the third one.

Are you seeing a difference? I thought I was gonna see more of a difference. Honestly I think the color of the deckle from the first one to these ones is main difference and then the length. This is longer than the first one. Am I going crazy? While I was filming this video I didn't notice some of the details that I'm now noticing while editing. Especially when it comes to these shirts because I was kind of noticing the decal being different, but now being able to look at

it while editing, I'm really noticing the difference of the shirt styles. Like look at the shoulders of Order One's t-shirt, there's kind of like a drop shoulder, whereas the other ones are like normal place shoulder. I'm noticing things! Not groundbreaking information, but I'm gonna keep popping in here whenever I notice something. Oh my gosh, and I forgot to switch the badge. They definitely all feel like different t-shirts, like different makes and models with the same decal with

slightly different colors. I personally would like them to be a little more dialed in, but this is what we got. Okay, the next product I am very curious to see how this differs across the three orders because it's basically a sculpture and it looks like a cute little cottage. I just don't know how much this could differ honestly. And for anyone curious we have $12.83, $10.17, and $11.25 and And before you ask, is that just the exchange rate making it change as we flow through this crazy economy we're in? No, it isn't. I looked into it. It isn't. Great question though. Number one, let's see. Also the most expensive one. I fully believe on Timu, the more you shop,

the more of a discount they give you. So it's not surprising to me that majority of the pieces, the first order is the most expensive because I feel like they change it depending on how much you're shopping. It's definitely smaller than I was expecting, but it's really cute.

I think you're just supposed to put the incense in like this with these little tweezers. I'm not sure, but here it is. Now to number two. This will be the moment of truth. Is it the same across the board? The packaging feels the same. Okay, um, those are pretty close. There's definitely a little bit of difference there, especially at this window up here. These are clearly hand painted though, because you can

see like around the door jamb of this one isn't painted. I just like shudder to think of the conditions at which these are having to be painted. Okay, let's see what the last one looks like. Tweezers are all the exact same. Okay, the roof color is a little different. Yeah, they're definitely hand painted. I can see the differences around the door frame. I think the biggest difference is the roof color is a little different, but honestly, they look like the picture.

Across the three pieces, I can like see the uniqueness and the individualism of each piece because they're hand-painted, which just makes that $10 price tag all the more concerning. Even with other countries having lower minimum wages than I'm used to in Canada, I still don't see how you could get this whole thing done and make a profit if you're paying fairly. Okay, next thing we have is this beaded handbag,

retro chain shoulder crossbody bag in new Chinese style, unique design clutch bag with pleats for parties and events. This is order number one. Shockingly, the cheapest of the three. Okay, is it just me or based on the photo, did you expect this to be larger like I did? I didn't think this would be so small

I could hardly fit my phone in here. It like just fits my phone I was expecting this to be kind of like a larger shoulder bag. That's another thing with Teemu You really don't know what you're gonna get the colors look right the, the beads on here are pretty. I am just shocked by the size. $14.76. The second order was actually the most expensive one. This is coming just under $19, which yes, a $4 difference doesn't sound huge, but when you're talking about like an $18 or $14 piece, that's like a huge percent increase. What is that like 30%? Increase I'm trying to really look at these but to me these look the exact same which makes sense

I mean they're from the same seller, but there's sometimes discrepancies But this looks good and the last the third one now that looks pretty similar to oh Wait a second. This one's missing some beads See how on these ones the straps are tighter this one The strap is quite a bit longer, but it's missing beads. You can actually see the strap Do you see what I'm saying? I'm missing some beads. But other than that, these bags are all the same

Oh, excuse me bag my bag. Is that what you want me to say? Hmm, is that what you want bag? Okay. This was the most expensive item we got off t-moo. This one was 39.55 The price changes slightly i'll let you know when I open them It's a one piece spring summer fashion woman solid color temperament high-end design, flower pattern, wedding season, party, banquet, Valentine's Day, date, dress, single shoulder, show, body, zipper, elegant dress.

It's a number nine bestseller apparently. Okay, let's see this. Interesting. I mean, this is the type of dress that I would see on Teemu and be like, there is literally no way that that is gonna look like that in person, so I couldn't help

when I was shopping for this video to be a little personally curious about this. Just as I suspected, there's absolutely nothing on the back. The flower is only on the front. Okay, looks like it's kind of just glued around here. Oh, it feels very itchy. Okay, we're not talking about the quality.

I'm trying to see the differences between the orders. We've got 92% polyester, made in China. I'm curious to see if there's a tag at the top. There is not. Okay, we need to see the others. This one was a little cheaper, $37.77.

Hey, okay. This flower looks a little neater, actually. That's what $2 less gets you, a little neater. Okay, same tag, same itchy fabric. Okay, here's this rose situation on. Firstly, holy cannoli, it's so itchy. I feel like every seam just has some weird,

like, I don't know, I think it maybe is the thread or it might be this mesh material, but it's very pokey and itchy It almost feels like netting against my skin Like if I treat the inside of the flower like a button and I press it it like sharply Presses against my stomach like something very sharp is going on. I don't know if it's glue. I really don't know

It's strange actually there's just little parts that are super sharp and pretty sure it's this mesh on the back That's giving it its shape. That's what's super itchy cuz when it's pushing against my arms I can tell that's that's the culprit this is just like the classic dress that you would see online and then order and be like Why am I even disappointed? It doesn't look like that. Why am I surprised? Honestly, like as far as a $20 dress, this is not even as bad as I was expecting it to be. Like this isn't even too bad.

Like am I delusional or is this not too bad? Honestly, I thought these were gonna have more differences between them. I thought maybe there'd be like a hidden zipper in one and not in the other. Okay, I said, considering it's a $20 dress is the $20 dress in the room with us. This dress was nearly $40

I don't know what I was even referencing. I think I was just being like, oh it was affordable dress So well what you guys I feel like I was trying to convince myself. It wasn't too bad because I had low expectations But honestly, the look is not bad. Okay, I will give it that to exchange $40 for this itchy Concoction of fabric? No.

The dress is very intricate, yes, and I think if it was done properly with great fabric and paying the workers fairly, this would be a pretty expensive dress because it's quite elegant, but in this case, this is not worth $40

of your hard-earned cash. The only differentiation between these is the way the petals got crushed in the mail. Like that's literally the only thing setting these apart. Like I'm guessing you probably didn't even notice between the last cut and this one, I switched into the third dress. That's how similar they look. The third one is laying the flattest and so I think it looks best. Plus one thing you probably won't be able to see, but the second one was slightly bigger than this one.

This one fits me better for the size, but they're all the same size. So there's a slight size variation, but I don't feel like that's like super unusual. I think that can happen, but yeah, here it is. Do I think this is a pretty dress?

This was supposed to expose how you can't tell what you're gonna get when you shop on Teemu because it'll be like, oh, you bought it this day, but then this day it comes in a different color. But in this case, I literally just bought three of the same dress and they look the exact same.

Okay, so in here we have this one, the zipper, this classic makeup bag. I'm mainly gonna be looking for print difference and zipper difference. Oh no. Oh my gosh, this is so similar. Literally the exact same. They're the same. Like

maybe slight vibrancy, but honestly, the same. Just popping in here again to say that the label is slightly different. Doesn't matter, but like I noticed it. So now I'm trying to salvage this video by being like, look! it's slightly different. There it is It's like an inch different. It's not really breaking news. Okay, next we have some press-on nails I don't believe these are hand-painted based on what I'm looking at I can't say for certain but they look like they would be like printed you get some stickies and a file

By the way, the three sets were all under $2, which is pretty insane. And again, months later, the exact same story. This one doesn't shock me too much because I feel like they have like hundreds of these sitting up on the shelf like finished at one time, so I'm not super surprised by this, but I was curious to see. See, now I'm just curious because there was a few items that I couldn't get in all three orders But I could get them in two of them. So let me just remove that for a sec. Okay, this is just like a

eggplant strappy Octopus looking dress. I mean we're not even talking about the quality but honestly you guys this isn't even sewn on I know these team pieces are cheap and it can be alluring and exciting, but I can promise you you could find something better at the thrift store for less than this. Let's see Teemu. Okay, second order.

It's the exact same color. I'm putting it on. Since I think these dresses are going gonna look basically the exact same, I want to take a second to talk about this dress and the way I believe it will fall apart the second I wore it out. I just feel like the moment something gets caught,

this is coming right off. And honestly, it's really riding up in the back. Oh, and there's no like fun flaily bits on the back, just on the front. I'm a little curious to see if there's at least a size difference because this one feels a little tight. Okay, no, this one's also revealing me on the butt.

And actually it's like hanging on by a thread in the same spot too, so that makes me think that was on purpose. I will say though, from a design standpoint, I do like all these tassels because with a bodycon dress usually I'm like, oh my gosh There's a lot of like just me out but this is like be distracted by these. That's how this feels

Okay. Next we have this quilted bag. I don't know what it says here and it's just like canvas on the inside Oh my god, are these gonna be the same too? Oh my goodness, literally the exact same again. Let me see the inside. Even the same zipper, damn.

They're good.

These are more similar than I thought. I thought we were gonna really find some differences. Now I just have three of everything and gave Timu a bunch of my money. Woo, movie magic. Thanks for tossing that.

This is a fluffy dog bed. I was able to find this all three times, which I was kind of surprised about. Let's see. So you take the dog bed and you just cinch it up like that. Chip would like that, I feel like.

There's a little bit of staining on the fabric over here. It looks like it's gotten dirty, even though it was in a plastic bag. I honestly will be surprised if the other ones are too different from this. Okay, I will say it is a different plastic bag.

Same exact toggle, it's the same fabric. They're not trying to get away with anything here. Literally the exact same, nothing to report here. Even the toggles are all the same. What about this? Hideous sequin dress?

It's just, it's shitting everywhere. I know these affordable dresses that look super cute online can be enticing, but look. Look at this. It feels like exactly like a cotton ball ripped up. Yes, the entire purpose of the video to show the difference, they look the exact same. Shockingly for how sequins-y it is, it's not the itchiest thing, so I am pleased with that. It's just a little itchy at the zipper in the back. I have had this on for like two seconds and this fluff is

genuinely all over the room, attached to everything. I'm genuinely afraid of how much fluff is getting everywhere. You guys know I have a sensitive nose, so I'm not even gonna put the other one on. It's very scraggly. And it feels exactly like a cotton ball. Like if you're somebody who doesn't like the way cotton balls feel,

oh, buckle up with this. It feels very strange. Okay, this is the last one. This is a shower curtain. I'm very curious about this. Okay. Yeah, looks like the ad. It's the same. I thought I was onto something, you guys. I thought I could show you that not only is the Teemo piece is bad quality and questionable production, but also you don't know where you're getting

But I think more often than not you do know what you're getting actually, you know, that's I'll give it to them I'll give it to him on that except for the farmers market shirt. I did catch them there. What was that about you guys? Well, I'm wearing the biggest perpetrator of what I set out to discover in this video, and that is the Farmer's Market shirt. And even it was not that different. I thought we were gonna see like some really different pieces.

Like it was gonna be like, what? How is that the same factory making that one? That one looks way different. Also I was looking at this shower curtain, and I don't know if this is like an attempt at a font on a book, cause it's kind of watercolory.

And I was like, is that AI art? Because sometimes when you see AI art, it really fumbles the bag with hands and written things. It just kind of scribbles it in. And I can't tell if that's just the style of the painting or if that is what that is so food for thought on that. When we started this video I

said I was gonna be a detective on a useless mission and boy was I right because we found basically nothing in this video. Like there was a few subtle differences but for the most part very similar. Which just because this was similar when I shopped on it is not me saying to go shop on Timu. I've talked about this at great length, so I'm not gonna get into it too much, but the prices are extremely low,

which doesn't leave that much room for the workers to be paid fairly, so you can assume they are not. And the sheer mass and access to things, I think is a lot. You can accumulate a lot of things and that can be overwhelming. So no, just because we didn't see a lot of variation between it isn't me being like, oh yes, pass, Timu, yes.

I feel like Timu is like a complicated one for me. I've talked about this before. I can totally understand the allure of shopping on Timu. They have so many items. It's priced very affordably. And the last thing I would ever want is for people to feel some form of judgment while watching my videos. So definitely no judgment to people who love Timu. I do think even in this video, like although we didn't see a lot of discrepancies between the three orders,

I did see like discrepancies when it comes to quality, whether it related to like the picture on the website and what I actually received or just the way the fabric feels. I feel like there's always something with it where I think different brands

have a better bang for your buck, basically. Like even though Teem is affordable, sometimes I just feel like the piece isn't gonna last, you know? Even just putting aside the ethical issues that I worry about,

I just think the pieces aren't fantastic. But I just wish that like brands had a higher moral code I guess so that us as consumers didn't have to worry about it as much. I know that's probably like really unrealistic like I wish that you didn't have to worry if a brand was being underhanded because like no brands were being... I'm rambling now. Now I'm just rambling about what my utopian society would look like. All this rambling to say

basically I totally understand if you love Timu. I'm just saying, even though the prices are low, I still think the pieces aren't amazing, even for the price point. And again, that's putting aside my concerns about the way things can be produced.

It's just like straight up, if I'm recommending something to you guys, I wouldn't recommend the pieces that I bought from Teemu in this video. I don't think they're amazing. And I genuinely don't think they're worth your hard-earned cash, even for the low price point.

Because like, when you think about it, that recipe book, that was still $11.

It was bent.
