I Built an AQUARIUM for REAL LIFE Animals in Minecraft Hardcore

I feel like Minecraft oceans are so boring.So today, I installed a ton of mods to add real life oceanic creatures into my hardcore world.

And to figure out who the best ocean mob is, we're going to collect them all and build them a giant zoo.And first off, we are looking for the mantis shrimp, who is one of the coolest looking mobs in the entire ocean.And these guys spawn in warm ocean biomes, so let's take a look down here.

Ooh!Oh, yo, there's one right there!Look at that thing!Oh my gosh, it's beautiful!Oh, it's so colorful!

Oh, and it's slapping random fish.That's nice.But now it's time to build this guy and all his friends a giant zoo.So, using all the deep -slate bricks that I got from my storage room, I built a giant hexagon -shaped zoo in the middle of the ocean.And the best part about building it here is all the water is already in the exhibits.Now let's just re -grab our mantis shrimp, who I'm gonna name Shrimply, and let's build him own zoo exhibit.

And for the enclosure, we covered the bottom in sand and put tons of coral to try and match the mantis shrimp's colors.Oh, also, I think I can tame Shrimply with tropical fish.So...Come on, Shrimply!Yes, you're my friend!Oh, and there's spiders here.

Okay.

Oh!Oh my goodness, Shrimply.Yo, he actually fights mobs for me.

That's sick.All right, well, Mantis Shrimp complete.Next up, staying on the topic of the seafloor, we're looking for the blobfish.

But the thing about these guys is they only spawn in deep oceans under the Y level 25.

So this might be a little bit difficult to locate.Let me just sneak down here and, oh, there's some moss here.That's kind of cool, but no blobfish.

Oh yes, blobfish.Come here.Yes.Oh my gosh.Look at him in my inventory.He's so adorable.

Oh, also, I'm drowning Let's let's fix that go go go go go go go go.Oh, what is that?Oh, it's like one of those weird sharks.

We're gonna get later as this video goes on we're gonna get somereally creepy looking mobs.But all right, let's put our blobfish right in here.

Oh, look at his face, he looks so ugly.Oh, it looks like your mother.

Now for his exhibit, I think I have the perfect idea.And after doing some research, I found out that blobfish live in the deep dark of the ocean.So I figure, why not go down to the deep dark biome in Minecraft and use these kind of blocks.Oh, I did not mean to...Do that.Let's get out of here, shall we?

Just keep going, just keep going, just keep going.So, we covered the entire exhibit with Skulk, along with some other darker blocks, and of course, Soul Lanterns.And perfect.That looks so good.Blobfish exhibits complete.Now, we just have two more seafloor mobs, starting off with the lobster.

Fun fact, I actually don't like lobster in real life, so I don't know anything about them.Oh, but I don't even need to.Lobster found.Wait, does a yellow one too?How many lobsters are there?I guess I'll take you too.

Let's see if there's any other colors down here.

Oh, what is that?Oh, what is that?Oh my goodness, it's like a skeleton fish.Oh, no get away Yo, I am NOT looking forward to getting that thing later Oh my gosh, look, they're all together all the skeleton mobs.

All right, get away from me back to lobster hunting Oh, look, there's a blue one.Yep.I'm taking that and this guy is red and blue All right, four lobsters should be good.Now.I gotta figure out where should lobsters live?But after doing some thinking I decided to build a giant lobster trap.

So let's start here with a normal sandy floor.Then let's take out our wood and try and make a little bit of a lobster cage shape here.And a little bit later, here is what we got.I basically just used a bunch of chains and wood and just made this weird crate thing, but I think it looks nice.And most importantly, the lobsters seem tolove it.

Lobster crate exhibit complete.And last but not least for our seafloor mobs, we're looking for the triops, which to my knowledge is just some weird fossilized fish thing that lives in deserts.What are you?Oh, you have teeth.Oh, you're not what I'm looking for at all.Oh, here's a little body of water in the desert.

Oh, this looks kind of promising.Oh, that looks good.looks like a prehistoric fossil if you ask me.Are you a Triops?Oh, yes you are, bucket of Triops.Oh, sweet, that was easy.

But since the Triops is like a prehistoric mob, I wanna get some mud here from the swamp and make like a muddy fossilized exhibit because I think that will look pretty sick.And after throwing in all different kinds of mud blocks and stuff, we had officially captured all four of our seafloor animals.But now we're moving on to four not so friendly mobs, which are the sharks.And I do know we already saw one of these guys down here in the deep cave, which was the frilled shark.Which, lucky for us, is probably the most docile of all the sharks today.Oh, speaking of sharks, that guy's not docile.

Yeah, I'm gonna get that one last.Oh, there he is, the frilled shark.Now, can I bucket you?No, I definitely can't.Oh wait, I can!Not sure how a shark can fit in a bucket, but you know what?

I'm not gonna complain.Shark number one, acquired.Oh, and there's shark number two, right there.Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.Go over here and not die.Thank you.

Oh, but right here is our next shark, which is the alligator gar.Can I bucket you?No, I definitely can't do you.Okay.Well, you're gonna be on a lead my friend.And I mean, while I'm here, I might as well just go for the big shark.

And now let's think of some biomes to build for these guys.And since the frilled shark is one of those deep ocean mobs, let's build him a deep slate enclosure.And just to make his cage even cooler, we're also gonna give this guy some cool diamond doors in here.Oh yeah.And now for this little grumpy boy, we're gonna build him his very own boat full of villagers to terrorize.And as I do that, please help me grow the channel by liking this video.

I'm not actually sure if the shark can jump up and get to the villagers, but oh, okay, one's already in.One is literally already in as we're talking, oh my gosh.All right, come on, get out, get out, just be careful.I give these guys two days till they're dead.But that being said, bull shark and frill shark complete.Now it's time to get the hammerhead shark and the alligator gar.

Gator guard number two, check.And I'm thinking for the biome, we'll probably just make some kind of simple river biome.Yeah, that should be good enough.And now, all we have left is the hammerhead, which makes me think I probably want to get another totem out before I do anything too crazy here.Yeah, that's a good idea.But now, let's go find the shark.

Oh, look, there's giant squids here.

Oh, and a giant whale chasing him.What the heck?Oh, is that it?Oh, that's a hammerhead right there.Look at his face.All right, Mr. Hammerhead, I'm friendly.

Now, truthfully, for the Hammerhead Shark, I don't actually know what is so special about where they live, so instead of building him his own little custom biome, I decided to build him a statue of Ronaldo.Hammerhead Shark complete!Next up, we're moving on to the squid mobs, beginning with the Mimic Octopus, who is one of the most unique sea creatures in the entire ocean, because this guy can mimic any block he's standing on and change colors, which also means And it might be a...difficult to find this guy.But I'm hoping if I just keep circling the area, he'll eventually spawn somewhere.

Oh, I see something down there.Thought I saw a tentacle.Do I?Oh, yes, I did.Hello, Mr. Octopus.Come back here.

All right, we got sand here.Will you turn into a sandy octopus?Maybe?Oh, you do.Oh my gosh, he's changing colors right now.

Eh, eh, eh, no, you're not escaping.Come with me.You're coming back to my aquarium.Mr. Tentacle, Right this way to your new home and apparently if I tame this guy using lobster tails if I give him a mob drop He'll change into a different kind of mob.

Yo, it's a creeper octopus and for a puffer fish you turn into a puffer fish Oh my gosh, what about prismarine crystals?Will you be like a guardian?Oh my gosh.This is the coolest thing ever dude What even are you and I figure since he can change into all different colors I'm gonna give him a giant rainbow in here and maybe possibly you'll turn into the same color as the wool, or maybe not.

And after a little bit of bone meal, I would say this exhibit looks pretty sick.Mimic octopus complete.Now we're just gonna head back to the deep ocean to find one of those giant squids we saw earlier.And hopefully this time they're not being chased by whales again.Oh, look, giant squid, right there!Yes, yes, yes, yes, come on!

All right, come with me, come with me. I'm gonna get you away from the giant whale.He's mean, and I'm nice.Just keep going, just keep going.Also, I might flying upside down.What is going on right now?

All right, Mr. Squiddy boy, get right up here into the aquarium.And...Bingo!Giant squid acquired.

Who I'm gonna name Squidward.If I can even name him.There we go.Yeah.And for the giant squid tank, I built him a little yellow submarine.All right, listen, I don't wanna hear any negativity about this.

I tried my best.It's a submarine, okay?Giant squid complete.Which now means we're moving on to the whales and males Camels!with the orca whale Which as far as I'm aware spawn in these frozen ocean biomes Oh, not an orca, but that's a narwhal right there, which is actually a whale.So I'll be taking you.

Just keep persevering and alright, we are finally back at the aquarium.You guys need to stay on a lead here and not be annoying.Thank you.So first off, let's get the orca in here, which I will name Shamu.

And now the narwhal, who will be named Toothy.And last but not least, it's time to bring this bad boy up, who honestly may not even fit in the aquarium, but let's find out.And he just barely fits in there.You know what?I think it's okay.I think he likes it.

Oh no!Yes, he does love it.What a guy.I'm gonna name you Moby.Now, time to build these guys some exhibits.So for Shamu and Toothy, I built them some normal icy ocean biomes.

Wait, I just realized this guy can break ice.Why am I building him an iceberg?

All right, Shamu, no break.Be nice, be a good boy.Oh, he just jumped in the air and he's now gonna get out.All right, you're not being a very good boy, Shamu!Stop it!And for Moby, we built him his very own fishing boat in honor of the old Moby Dick book.

And just like that, all of our whales are complete!Now, we're about halfway through with our entire aquarium, and there are still some crazy mobs we're gonna get, including the rarest sea creature in the world.But before that, we still had to get a few more mobs, like the seal and the manatee.Yo, what are those kangaroos?Oh my gosh, there's a baby in his pouch!Oh, I wish you were a water mob, but I don't need you today.

And that should be good.A couple of sandy beaches for our mammal friends.But now, It's time to go to the swamp biome because we're looking for our swampy reptile friends because I didn't know this But there's actually a lot of aquatic reptiles.Oh, well, not you.You're like a little monkey thing.Okay.

Here's the water Oh, what is that?Oh, we got one.This is the Cayman alligator I'm taking one of you, but I'm also on the hunt for your big cousin.Who is the crocodile?What just hissed at me?

Oh, there it is!Oh, what the heck?Oh, I'm being death rolled!No!Well, I found the crocodile, but that was scary.All right, I'm just gonna lead you, buddy, and you're not gonna attack me!

Get me out.Get me like me out But alright came in and crocodile acquired and now we're looking for two kinds of aquatic turtles the alligator Snapping turtle and the terrapin, which I don't think are super dangerous.But after the crocodile, I really don't know.Mr. Turtles.Where are you?Oh Look at this guy.

Oh my gosh.This is a beautiful turtle and judging by your peaceful natureI'm gonna assume this is the terrapin because the alligator snapping turtle sounds way less nice like that guy who has tons of fish floating around him.I'm gonna assume you did that, but come with me.

Be ni - Oh my gosh.Alright, fine.I'll get you first.But after getting both kinds of turtles back home, I built all four of the reptiles their own little swamp biomes with brackish water and a ton of reeds.And just like that, our swampy reptiles are complete.Next up, we are looking for the platypus, who is a very strange mob.

It's actually the only mammal that can lay eggs in the world, so I'm not really sure where I'm gonna find this guy, but I was told to look near rivers.Well, there's an alligator gar, and an anteater.Again, wrong mud pack.Oh, and there's this guy.Wonderful.Hey, buddy, do you know where any platypuses are?

What are you selling?I wouldn't care, but I'm kind of curious what those things are.All right, what does this do?Can I place it?Can I eat it?It does nothing.

OK, what a waste of my time.Back to platypus hunting.

No way, that's a platypus right there.Oh look at him, he has a little beak.Hello, buddy.Oh my gosh, you're adorable.Can I bucket you?Oh, I can't, I have a bucket of platypus.

And for Perry the platypus's exhibit, we're gonna pop back home to our iron farm and get a whole bunch of this stuff so I can build Perry his very own underwear.Water Science Lab.If you haven't seen Phineas and Ferb as a kid, this might make no sense to you, but I like it.Wait, Broderick, what are you doing here, bro?I know it's a science lab, but it's underwater.You can't breathe down there.

You can watch from a safe distance, okay, bro?But carrying on, we just had to grab a couple of miscellaneous fish, like the catfish, the flying fish, and this thing called a mudskipper.But now, we're down to our final four mobs, with our last mob being the rarest mob in the ocean.But the first three are gonna be the undead monsters, which are basically just hyper -aggressive ocean mobs who, you guessed it, are undead.First off, we're gonna look for a shipwreck to find the Skellywag, Actually already saw today, but all right, there's a shipwreck down here.

Oh, there he is Yo, it's the skellywag.Hey, buddy.I know your tricks now.Yeah, just keep following me this way Come right back to the aquarium where I'll trap you forever.

And now let's take out our anvil and let's name this guy Bonesy.And now let's use our iron blocks to get him into his exhibit.Skelly Wag acquired.And since he loves shipwrecks so much, I built him a sunken boat with a bunch of bones around it.Perfection.But now for these next two undead mobs, we need to go to the nether.

And based on the size of these bad boys, I'm probably gonna need a very big portal as well.So, BRB.That oughta do.Now it's time to get the Bone Serpent.A giant lava -dwelling monster that resides in the Nether's deep oceans.Which makes me realize I probably should have a lava tank and not a water tank here.

All right, that took a long time to do, but now it's go time.Let's just hop up here into the portal and let's go find a Bone Serpent.Okay, we're in the Nether.We're on the fortress roof.That's interesting.But now we gotta scope out these lava of the lakes beneath us and try and find the Bone Serpent and somehow get him back up here.

Oh Bone Serpent, where would you be?Oh?Bone serpent right there look at him.Oh my gosh.I think was crazy.Where is he all right?

Let's make a little platform right here, and let's try and lure him up here.Oh my gosh, okay, okay, okay, okay?Let's get my lead done.Let's grab him now.Let's carefully build up and hopefully he'll just come with me.Yeah, oh Working okay, this should be high enough now.

Let's just walk towards the portal over there in the portal in the portal going in the portal You got it, bro.You got it, bro.Is this portal too small for the guy all right hold on let me fix this wait Did he go in I don't see him anymore.Did he fall?No?I think he's in the portal all right perfect.

Oh there.He is.Oh, he's in the thing all right perfect Let's go guy and just like that bone serpent acquired.

I'm in the lava, and he's not what is going on, okay?You know what this guy might need a glass lid on top so he doesn't Be dumb like this all right on to the next one and our next friend's name is the leviathan Which is basically a giant nether?Dinosaur and apparently these guys also spawn in lava lake so hopefully if I stay nearby here I'll find one also on the plus side these guys are a lot less scary than the bone Serpents with great timing.

Oh, I hate those guys.Oh look at one right there Oh my gosh look at that thing it is like a dinosaur also what just hit me skeleton not the time, bro I just found the lava dinosaur What happened to him?

Bruh, he did not just despawn, I literally just had him.Oh, there we go, he's back!Alright, Leviathan guy, how do I get you?Well, according to the wiki, I can actually craft a special type of saddle and ride this guy back home.Yo, this is the coolest thing ever, dude!Now just time to build a little pillar and get this guy home.

Oh, also, chicken jockey.

And here our boy is!Yes, sir!

Leviathan acquired!Which now, boys and girls, us with the final mob of the entire aquarium.The rarest animal in the entire ocean.This is the devilHole Pupfish.

In real life, these fish are only found in one limestone cave in Nevada.And in Minecraft, these fish only spawn in one chunk in the entire world.

But lucky for us, this mod does introduce an item called a Strange Fish Finder, which is basically a compass to point towards the Devil's Hole Pupfish chunk.So, to craft this stuff, we're gonna need to get four skellywag fish bones, some whale teeth, some slime balls, and some iron.And now we combine all this stuff together to make the strange fish finder.All right, show me where's the devil's pupfish?It's not really showing me a direction yet.So after doing some more research on the mod's wiki page, I came to the conclusion that this fish finder is just broken.

So instead, I had to use a chunk locating tool to figure out which chunk in my world has the Devil's Pupfish in it.

Okay, apparently this is the chunk where they should be spawning.So now we just gotta find an underground body of water.Oh my gosh.Oh, water!Come on, come on, come on!Yes, there's fish in here!

The Devil's Pupfish, we found it!Oh my gosh, you guys were so annoying because of your stupid broken chunk mechanic, but I found you!The rarest mob in the ocean has been acquired.
