we're back on the second channel and this is something that we've been wanting to do for so long so when we got the house we did the full stable conversion we converted all the stables into a gym into like my dream garage and then also we did the driveway as well, full resin driveway and like we've completely transformed it but there's one thing since we've had the house which we've never really used and that is this menage which is used for like training horses and the previous owner had horses they still had stables as well which were over there as well that'll be a future project but we've had all this space and not done anything with it for two years until today and we've been going back and forth thinking about what we could actually do with this space this is like a like a rubbery sandy floor and yeah we don't use it at all and it's such a shame to have this big space which is level and flat and not do anything with it so we've been thinking so long what we're going to do and today we've finally made that decision and the work is going to start you're going to get to see what is going to happen to it by the end of this video hopefully so let's let the work begin on the Menage. We're going to fully transform it.Let's go.me about putting a skate park there, maybe like a go -kart track there, but I think what we finally decided on putting in this space makes it perfect for not only me, but also the future value of the house. We're putting our sensible hats on here, but before we do any of that, all of the menage has got to go.the fences around it So the demolition begins apparently the material that the menage is actually made out of this kind of rubbery floor is actually quite valuable So we're putting it to the side at the minute because potentially we may be able to sell it Let's see near enough all of the fence and the surface is removed now Ménage.
So let's have a little walk down and see what's going on.The base is laid.I don't know what the next plan of action is. I'm guessing they lay down the hardcore and then they get the rollers out. That's what they did on the drive, didn't they?Yeah.Flattened it all down.
All of the rubble and everything has gone over there for now.And we're hopefully going to have a new project there at some point. So we want to use the hardcore for projects there. But so far, we've made it worse.
But you've got to crack eggs to make an omelette.
now the lads can finally start building the foundations on what's actually going on the menage starting off with all the hard core and the concrete and there was a lot of hard core to go down whilst they're putting the hard core in the center they also needed to make the edging so this is lined out with basically a piece of string then the concrete edging gets laid into place this is going to give it a nice finish and it's also going to help whatever the guys building here last a lot longer and meanwhile Whilst this was all going on, we needed to get to work on some of the cars. And this is the perfect time to update you all on the yellow Porsche. The yellow Porsche is back from Porsche. Now if you didn't watch the last video, then I suggest you go and watch it on the main channel. You'll know that we fully rebuilt this GT3 RS, which had an engine issue. So the warranty got voided on this car, because supposedly what the
suspect, what Porsche suspects, is that it had a mileage blocker on it.And the way they found out, well they took the engine out first, what we figured out, they took the engine out first and they diagnosed the problem. But then they thought that the wear on the engine looked too much for the mileage on the car, which is 31 ,000 miles. So then they put their computer in and when they put the computer in they could see that the car had been running for something like 30 hours doing 1 .4 mile an hour which flags up in their system is that doesn't seem right unless you are literally running for 30 hours doing 1 .4 mile an hour but who in their right mind would do that?So for that reason they voided the warranty and then thrown the car back together.I don't know what Porsche Center Did that or whether it was even Porsche that thrown the car together whether a Porsche just gave it back with like a box of bolts and somebody just throwing it back together Which is probably rather reason why it wouldn't start when I got it when I picked it up I got it obviously is repossessed because after the guy's warranty got voided he decided to stop paying his finance I think he thought that was the best option to do because that way it doesn't have to sell the car broken He just stops paying his finance cuts his losses then goes to auction and I picked it up and we managed to fix it now my plan was to get the warranty back on this Porsche because at the minute it is fully original like the car's like pretty much factory spec the whole car's been PPF so it's like really well looked after it looks like original paint all the interior is the same the only thing that's been done is the roll cage in the back this is a wrap and a lot of people are saying why would you wrap a roll cage because surely you have to take it out to wrap it well the reason why that would be is because if he painted it then it then becomes non -original and if it's non -original he would have lost his warranty if he painted that so i assume it's just wrap which is temporary so my goal was to fix it take it back to port get the warranty back as soon as i get that warranty back i can drive this car on track do whatever i want with it and anything that happens to it
going to be covered by Porsche. So we took the engine out, we repaired it, blah blah blah blah blah, you know the full story.Let me answer a few questions of what people asked on the last video, which I think we should cover in this video. The first thing people asked, why didn't I replace all four camshafts when i had it out and the finger followers whilst i had them out well the reason is is the other camshafts look completely fine the other finger followers look completely fine and if i'd replaced them it would have cost me another two grand per camshaft to do and if they're not broken and I can fix it with just placing the ones which were broken when I go back to Porsche to get the warranty if they end up wearing out and breaking over time it's going to be free because I would have the Porsche warranty afterwards to cover those cam followers if they break. That's the reason why we didn't change all four camshafts whilst we were there because once we got the warranty everything else is going to be free on the car.And now The car's back from Porsche and check this out.
It's been four wheel aligned. It's been everything's been reset on the dash like so the cams they do a relearn procedure of the cams to make sure it all runs right and if you check the dash now There is no lights on the dashboard apart from Interim service now and in order for me to get my warranty in order for me to get it I need to have no lights on the dashboard. It needed to have brake pads that flagged up on the 111 point inspection. So Porsche have replaced my brake pads for me.I've gone for the race brake pads, which are Porsche approved That's front and rear there like the Manta ones.So that's covered it needed a wheel bearing on the front, right?
I got that covered from Porsche as well And then there was two more things on why we don't have the warranty at the minute. In fact three more things. We still don't have the warranty. One of them is that you need to own the car for 90 days. And the reason of that is because it stops people like myself, if I was going to buy the car, do it all up, get the warranty.then sell it immediately.
So I need to have the car in my own name for 90 days.I think we're not far off getting the log book and having it for 90 days.So I should have that bit covered. The next thing was That service light on the dash now in order to get that service light off porsche won't just plug in their tool and cancel it off They need to actually do a service on the car to take that service light off because they won't do it any other way Although they could just plug in and cancel the service light off They're not allowed to do it unless they've done the service.Now.I know we've given the car a service I've put spark plugs in it.
I've put oil in it.We've done a full service on the car So if I can get that light off the dashboard with my auto then that's one problem out the way So we're gonna give that a go now to see if we can get the light off the dash because then that's one step closer to getting the service. If not, I'm gonna have to pay for Porsche to do a service on something that we've already done.So let's get the auto and plug that in and see if we can get that light off the dash.
Right, come on.
Can we reset the service light on this?Because if we can, this is gonna save us a whole lot of money. If not, we're gonna have to find a Porsche specialist, I think, to reset it because I think it's probably at four, five hundred quid for a service at a guess.Oil reset, maybe that?Reset maintenance interview interval.Come on, right?
We're gonna just reset them all Or service the whole lot execute go on succeeded in resetting the maintenance interval press exit to continue Okay, let's see if that light comes on the dash.Oh Get in there. That is just saved me about a grand or 500 quid. There is one more thing that I come up on the warranty slip of why this car wasn't getting its warranty and that's to do with the roll cage.It said that the roll cage was rattling, which you can hear it a little bit when you try and move forward with the handbrake on.Hear that?
Oh yeah.Is that the roll cage?Oh yeah, it feels very roll cagey. All we've got to get off is that roll cage and then there's no reason then why we can't get this warranty back.Once we've got the warranty back, this car is like basically as good as buying a Porsche proof car, which is what I wanted, which is why, which is another reason as well, I need to explain why I actually bought this car, because some people will be like, why have you bought this car?Because you've got a GT3 RS, Manta and a GT3.
Well, I'll explain how this fits perfectly into the collection in a minute.I'm just going to have a little look under this roll case, because clearly it's been out.I'm going to have a little look if there's some bolts loose or something. So I'm going to climb in the back. It's going to be nice and warm.Meanwhile back at the house all the edging was done around the old menage and now what's arriving is metal fencing.
Now originally we thought of maybe building something with a roof here to store the cars in, but I think that would completely spoil the view that I have from the house.Hence why we've gone something which doesn't require building a huge building. We're now replacing all the wooden fences with this aluminium one.And there's going to be two entrances, one smaller gate and one big gate, which we're going to be able to drive cars through.Okay.Week two, we're on.
All the edgings are down, looking sweet. We've sort of got like the size of it.It looks way bigger now, I feel, like with the border around. You're still yet to see what's going to be here, but you can see behind there, the fence has already started to go down.So instead of this wooden fence, which looks good when you originally put it in, and then after years it just kind of withers away.Still a lot of work for the lads to do.

Get started freeThey're just cracking on and putting like every single post in now.And then, after that they can start with the hardcore in there so off they go i'm gonna go back working on the car this is fun you watch it's got a massive crack in it or something it's all under every whoever put this roll cage in i hopejust have a bad day.Yeah, they did say that those bolts are in the wrong way round.Bullshit.I'll lift a seat just out the way and then that'll make it easier.
We're doing outdoor play today.Okay, now we've got more room.It did turn up a bit.It's all right.That side's tight.Now let's do that side.
Tighten that hanging key up as well. That's tight.Okay, so if this doesn't solve it, it's not the cage. What about these? This thing's pretty solid.Right, let's go to the back.
There they are, two bolts. That's tight.
That is tight. So, Porsche reckon they're in the wrong way round, so we'll switch them round and give them a tighten. It looks like this should have washers on.This one, that's tight. They're loose.Look.
Okay, that could be it.Let's spin them round.I'm absolutely dripping here. That window's plastic.Weight saving. No wonder I'm really hot.
Let's put the seat back in now.See if that all works.
Coming back in.
So, service light's out.Brake pads done, roll cage tightened. That is literally it now.We just need the log book and own it for 90 days.Let's see if that noise is gone.I'm feeling a bit sceptical.
It only says noise coming from roll cage, so see if we can get away with it.Still makes it, doesn't it?it sounds like metal on metal yeah yeah it's worth getting in the air and just tightening those mounts but we did have the engine out multiple times so it wouldn't surprise me if one of them's loose I think we get it in the ramp and see if we can check that Looks like that's the next step on the GT3 RS.Whilst I'm about to do that, the lads are still cracking on with that aluminium fencing. They've got to put it around the whole perimeter.First he has to dig out the holes, which are pretty deep.
Then lie the posts in the holes, fill them up with concrete and make sure they all set right.and a lot of this fencing has to be cut to size especially around this big opening which we're keeping in order for me to be able to drive some cars in there if we ever want to film anything take photos or maybe put some car storage there in the future who knows but with the fence all the way around now the next thing to do is finish putting in all of the hardcore and when all the hardcore is in the next job is to flatten it all and get it level first thing i'm going to go and check is the gearbox mount because that's where i think the noise is coming from and then if it ain't that i've got to check everywhere else anything that could be rocking so we've got like engine mount gearbox mount mounts at the back anything that can cause it that sort of rocking sensation okay i'm gonna get this out and that'll show us underneath there do you think anyone would ever know this car's had a cooler luke oh that looks loose that one looks loose up there oh that doesn't look like it's got many threads on it no that does look looseThat is loose.Yeah, I think we found it.Yes, that was loose. That didn't go in much.
Yeah, that didn't go in much.Is that the right bolt for that?Oh yeah, I thought it was a stud.It was loose, but I thought that was a stud, and we couldn't see the bolt on the tub.Okay, yeah, that was a bit loose, wasn't it?
You wouldn't want your subframe that loose.
Try again, see if we make the noise. It might've just been that one bolt needed half a turn.Handbrake on.pull forward.I think it was that half turn of the boat. That's everything apart from the log book covered for the warranty now.
There's no reason why we shouldn't get any warranty apart from this mileage discrepancy thing which we might be able to argue because that's got nothing to do with us and the car is completely fine. That's down to Porsche.Whether we can get that or not, I don't know. And another thing I want to cover as well is why exactly I bought this car. Some people think I just bought it because it's a cheap car and could make some money on it.Well, actually, that wasn't the case.
First off, let's get this under tray back on.Now, if you watch the main channel video, you see when a car vertical check the car, everything on the car come back all good. But some of you got a bit frightened. They had eight owners. This car is out 10 years.Yeah, maybe even 11.
Maybe even 11 years. So an owner every year, which is not hard for a car like this.I don't think it's, it's not too worrying as long as it's in good condition.Despite the engine, it was in fairly good condition, which I'm not too worried about. But other than that, on the car though, report everything else checks up I can see all the personal plates that it's had on it see every time the ownership's been changed every time it's had an MOT check and there's been no damage to the car this is why we can get warranty on it whereas if your car was previously damaged one it might show up on a car vertical report and two we won't be able to get the approved warranty on it again The funny thing is, some people might think I bought this to make some quick bit of money because it was a good flip.
Well actually the reason I bought this is that I was looking for 991 Porsches because I wanted to go on the track on track days in the UK.And in the UK to go on a track day your car needs to be basically under 105 decibels.and every single one of my cars is over 105 decibels unless I start putting stock exhaust back on them.So my theory was if I bought a 991 GT3 RS because they've already devalued in price and they've held the value at that price, I could buy one, go on track, use it in the summer for track days and then in the winter sell it again for the same price or maybe a little bit less and it wouldn't have cost me much and I would have enjoyed a GT3 RS through the summer on the track. So I was looking for one and in the time I spent looking for one I found this one, which had a broken engine. So not only am I going to be able to use one in the summer and use this on track because it's completely stuck and hopefully get approved warranty.

Get started freeAt the end of summer, when maybe I want to sell it, maybe I want to keep it, I don't know, I could even make a bit of money selling it.So I think it was just a no brainer and it was like a perfect, it was a bit of a fluke really, wasn't it?Because I said to all these, oh, I'm looking for a 991.Then next thing I come in and said, I found one with a knackered engine.and we can actually make a bit of money on it on top.So it was like a bit of a fluke that we found it really.
So yeah, not a bad find. That's the reason why I bought it.I feel like the signal yellow is a lot better than this yellow, but beggars can't be choosers. Now remember, if you want to check your car out and carve out a car,the link in the description box below and use this discount code on the screen it's different for the second channel because if you've used the main channel discount code it might not let you reuse it but you can use it on the second channel so check your car out find any hidden history about it and if you find something thank me later. For now I think this is all good and ready for its drive and also we've got plenty more cars to do but let's go see how they're getting on with the Menage.
Look at the whole area, the menage has disappeared, fencing is fully up, the lads are just finishing off like the edging areas now, so we should be keeping that open, so cars can go in and out if there is need for it, but i reckon they've put down like like a whole quarry of stones here like there's been so many vans of stones going down so we'll just finish off this little bit here and then after this i think it's time for like the tarmac to go on to the top let's finish this up and then it's on to the tarmac let's go so far so good but the space is still pretty empty and at this point it could be anything but before the lads continue we need to address liam's audi r8 in the last video my r8 was doing this But now, we have brought in the professionals.
Strong word, that.Ricky is here, he's brought his team with him, and he's going to show us how to get this engine out.How long is it going to take?If it was me, a day or so, I reckon.Three hours.Three hours.
What's the time, 12 o 'clock?Yeah.Right, it's 12 o 'clock.Right, three hours, three o 'clock this is going to be out, we hope.
Let's get this engine out shortly after Liam had his car tuned in the last video it decided to lose all compression in one of the cylinders and today we've got to figure out why So it's your fault
My fault.
What are you doing, Liam?I'm undoing two bolts down here that Ricky said, get those undone now.
Let's go.Do you think he's going to do it in three hours?
With the way he's going at the minute, I think he's going to do it in two hours.
Ricky, are you putting this engine back in, or is Liam putting it back in?Liam's putting it back in.
That's not what we talked about.
Yeah, so we've got all this top bit off. We're going to go halfway up, get the drive shaft off, get the starter motor on.start to take gearbox bolts out and then we drop the gearbox out.Crash damage bait or crash bait and then we can get there.
Time to get the gearbox out and we've got a new toy for this.Gearbox is out, time to get the engine out.Time to two and a half hours, engine out, gearbox out, subscribe RE Performance because he is the boy.I'm getting as many RE Performance subscribers in here as possible because this has got to go back in yet.
Time to get it down to Ricky's so we can strip it and find out exactly what has gone wrong with this poor poor engine so we'll find out what's happened to the almost bulletproof v10 engine once the lads now have arrived at the house with some tarmac and i'm pretty sure this is a special type of tarmac it's like a porous type and this allows water to sort of soak through it and into the ground so it doesn't hold water when they apply some form of resin on top of it i could have got that completely wrong but i haven't tried my hardest all the lads have got to do isis spread it all over the hard core that they've laid down over the menage. And there's plenty of machinery to get that done.At this point you may be thinking I'm just making another big driveway, but actually it's far from that.Although I wouldn't mind another driveway to park the cars, I think Hannah would have something to say about turning the house into a giant car park. But so far the lads are cracking on really well and they've got the weather for it at the minute.
This whole process took them about three weeks from start to finish and at the minute we're about on week two.Laying down all of this tarmac completely over the hardcore.and once all the tarmac is laid over the hardcore again they've got to flatten it down and make it all level ready for their next step and whilst they were doing this i actually got time to go out and test the yellow porsche let's go take the lemon for a little rip once everything is all fixed now right hopefully no miss ups anymore off we go It drives so much better now the tracking is all in a straight line. And even though this has got a stock exhaust, it still sounds really good.So far all the coolant hoses have stayed intact.I seem to give it a full thrashing because obviously the top end is brand new.
I don't want any accidents but it drives so well.A little track needs a better end I think. What a bargain.Buzz in.
The R8 engine is here.Ricky stripped, well, stripped the pieces off we don't really need to take off for the camera. And we're about to take it apart together to see what the actual problem is.Together?

Yeah, Ricky is going to take this out.Right, everything's off and out. We've found the problem.the issue what do you think the issue was because we found it while he wasn't here looking at that and the fact the valves aren't in there maybe like snap valve or like something to do with your valve surely okay so if we turn this over yeah from this side there's no damage oh there is two valves missing yeah but no damage that means maybe not a melted valve or anything like that yeah okay we're good on that front so if it isn't a valve And it isn't the spring, what is it?Well, we looked down the camera and we could see that the springs look good.If you come here, look, the piston, top of the piston, looks all good.
There's no, like, scoring in the cylinder there. That's all good. So, one valve and spring, that's how it should look. That'll obviously sit up there.
That looks good. That looks good. It's not a spring, is it?The second one.Ooh, look at that. That's a bit short and a bit stubby, isn't it?
We've got a broken spring.That's good news.
Broken spring, good news. That's the best case scenario of a bad situation.
Yeah.
Broken spring.
A lot of work for that one little broken spring.
A lot of work for that one little broken spring. That is the best case scenario. So it wasn't tune related, which is going to make somebody very happy, but it's also very sad for me because it's more likely my fault.
From revving it.
Yeah, Ricky said it's just been over -revved and that's what happens because these springs are out of a Golf GTI.
Oh right, okay.
So we're going to get new springs, definitely change two valves and he says it's up to us if we decide to change all the valves as well because while you're at it he says you might as well change all the valves but we'll let Matt have the final decision on that because it's probably going to cost a lot.
Sorry Matt.Right, so we've rebuilt the heads which we've done with Dav.so new springs throughout, new exhaust valves because obviously one had fallen so we didn't want to take any risk of exhaust valves.Heads have been serviced, refreshed, put back together and we're just putting the heads on.Now, new head bolts, new head gaskets, torque them down and away we go.
We have got the R8 engine back together.Well, I say we.Ricker, RE Performance, Wizard, got this all back together. We are going to get this in over the weekend because we're planning to take this somewhere next week, which you are going to see.But for now, we need to get this in the van and get it home.Right, she's in.
Time to get back to the unit, get her in the R8, because we've all missed her.Well, I've especially missed her.So we're going to get her on the road.Let's go.
So the reason why Liam had no compression in his engine was due to a broken valve spring. And although it might not have had anything to do with the tune, we all know that the tune made the car shoot flames when it was revved. So the tune sort of encouraged Liam to rev the car and put a lot of strain on that valve spring.Sometimes I'm not the best at choosing my friends. For now, the MB Resinbound guys are now applying this special type of resin. And unlike the driveway, this resin that's going down here is a sort of spongy material.
Transcribe all your audio with Cockatoo
Get started freeIf you've ever been to like a sports court or like a kid's playground where the floor has that sort of sponge to it, this is what's going down here. You can get this in loads of different colours, but to keep things neutral and the fact I think I'm going to be bringing a few cars on here eventually, I've gone with grey with little bits of black in it and the lads are working through the night to get this done.Mainly because the heat in the daytime was way too much to lay this resin down.Again it's a pretty similar process to how they've done the driveway but they need totemperature to be cool to make it easier to lay.And although I wasn't here whilst they were doing this, it looks like they're doing this in sections to stop it setting whilst they're doing it.
And this is a long process.Mainly all of it is done by hand. And whilst they're cracking on with that, my dad finally returned from his holiday.
Today, our small job doesn't look quite as small does it?I don't know where any of that goes.
We're getting her in.It's been a long time coming. Finally going to have her heart back. The engine is in.I'll never need that engine crane again. Now it's time for my shaft.
My shaft is going in.
She's in.So everything under here, I think.Let's get the car down then.Let's do it because I want to go home.England are playing tonight.
Next up is the gearbox.
Gearbox plug going in.
Set engine and gearbox all in.What's next?
Fish and chips!
What have you ordered from the fish and chips, Tony?Fish and chips! And a bit of curry sauce.I bet you can guess Liam's order.Fish and chips. He's got fish and chips as well?
With curry sauce.I would have thought it would be like a fish cake kind of guy because he's like 10 years old, isn't he?
Are you okay, mate?
Right, start them up.next.Power wires further back.Starter motor being plugged in.Yay, that's it.Fish and chip time.
Lovely.Let's go and get some food in, some scrum. It's on Liam as well.
It's on me, I know. It's a nice one, isn't it?It is, it's not very nice. It's on me at the moment, but...Has it not paid you back yet?No, yeah.
Do you feel better now?I feel absolutely a million dollars, like it's a Monday morning. When you first get here and you've been refreshed after the weekend, that's how I feel.
But this is the weekend.

Get started freeYeah, I know, but I've had my fish and chips, so I'm raring to go.Let's get this thing running.
Do you know that expansion tank? That always reminds me of something from Star Wars.Does it?
Yeah, have you seen those things on Star Wars? No.Do you ever watch Star Wars? Not much, no.Bits of Star Wars, never a full thing.
Liv, have you watched Star Wars? No, never. Why am I in a room with a bunch of losers? It's for kids, isn't it?Star Wars for fully grown men. What kind of lightsaber would you have if you were a Jedi?
Lightsaber! That is a nerdy question.Everything's in except for the oil tank and the exhaust and the bumper. But the oil tank's most important, then we can actually run it with the exhaust off.Oil tank, clipped in.Okay, that's in.
Now I've got to put the oil in, coolant in, battery on, find the key, start it.This is my favorite tool in the whole wide world. And I am joking.
So for all the people that don't know what this is, what is it?
This is a vacuum bleeder. So what you do is we fit an airline to this which then blows past this. The air blows past causing that to get sucked and it sucks all the air out the car cooling system. So all the hoses squash up so then when you release the this with water in the pipe it then sucks. This is why I love this kit.It then sucks it in.
And how much do we need to put in?20 litres.
Connecting!
Now all the air is leaving the system.
Yay!No, you're supposed to wait for a bit, see if that goes down. What are you doing now?I'm filling the pipe up with coolant. How come you have to fill the pipe up with coolant? There's no air in the pipe.
There might be a bit of air in the pipe though when we plug it on.Like that much, look.
Right, I'm on.Is that in the bottom?I pushed it all the way in.Got the weight on there.Coolant is now all in.Next up...
We need to put the oil in.You need, Ricky says eight liters of this, but you can't check it because there's no dipstick. You have to start the engine and let it warm up, which is a bit of a dumb idea, isn't it?
Huracan has a dipstick.
Does it have a dipstick?
So much better.

Get started freeYour car is so much better than this. Now you've said that, I want a Huracan.
My R8 is so much better than your R8.
That is eight liters of oil, which was recommended by Ricky. So, connect the battery and start it up.
Crank it, let's do it.I want to hear it.
Just like that, she's all back together.Just look at her, back in her former glory. The rear end is all complete. The engine is in the middle.Super thankful to everyone again.Obviously Matt, obviously Ricker.
She's running like a dream yet again.Super buzzing. So happy to have her back on the road. We've not had a chance to drive up while she's been this colour or with the wheels or this colour really.I'm gassed, absolutely gassed.
One yellow GT3 RS successfully back on the road, almost with Volante, and Liam's pink Audi R8 successfully back on the road. For how long?We don't know, but all that we've got outstanding now is the Bugatti Veyron to fix, Alex's Chiron to fix, And eventually we'll continue on with that BMW M3.It's been a busy year so far.And it's especially busy for the MB Resinbound guys who are still laying down that resin. And you can see how spongy it is here.
But this whole area is almost complete and it's looking really clean.Every inch of this fenced off part is being covered in this spongy type of resin which is extra weather resistant.I'm just hoping now I chose the right colour because at first I think I did want to go for something bright.I just thought that when it wears it might not look as good.so great.Whereas the grey should stay looking good for years to come.
Last little edges now to do and that is all of the resin down. But it's still just looking like a big car park.So what's next?Well, it's time to paint in the lines. That's right. We're putting in a multi sports court.
One which could be used as a five -a -side football pitch.and a tennis court as well. Now you'll notice I actually got this wrong to start with.We painted the tennis courts with black lines and then we painted a father's side football pitch with white lines. But I realised shortly after seeing this I'd made a big mistake. The white lines were so easy to see and really dominant on the grey floor whereas the black lines for the tennis court were really hard to see.
And to be honest, I think this area is going to be more used for playing tennis than it is football. So we agreed to change this over once we'd laid it down. But with all this type of stuff, you learn a lot on the way.And this is one thing that we learned. So you can see the guys that did the lines going back over the white lines with black paint and over the black lines with white paint.Basically undoing all of the work they just did.
Finished.Project Wimbledon is complete.aka Leicester's Wimbledon look at that for a view it's been a long journey and we've eventually got there so the grandstand is still in uh this is still in production this is all going to be changed here and originally at the start of the video we said we're going to do steps down here well we've actually got a bigger planthis and potentially another collaboration with the home improvements guys because this is going to be something insane here it's going to be like completely different we've got a really better idea but there's a lot more stuff that needs to go on especially over that way we've still got all the rubble from the menage and everything to get rid of and like there's more building work going over there but how much better is this than the menage that i've it's a way more usable space yes like could have put loads of other different things here but also you've got to think of like okay maybe if we want to sell the house in the future i don't necessarily want a skate park here which is going to be quite difficult to sell a house to for someone who doesn't skate or bmx but because we've got this platform here it doesn't mean we can't put like a skate park here or any temporary like things that we can do to film like a skate park would have been amazing but they're really hard to maintain especially all wooden ply stuff you've got to maintain it all year round else it goes rotten but i do think at some point we should put a park on it we've obviously got now all the metal fencing man this looks like well well well better than the wooden fencing this is all going to be uh paved and everything like that but we'll get to that coming to the court you might have seen on like a previous clip that Originally the football pitch was white lines and as soon as we did that we realised we made a mistake because we put the tennis court out and when you're stood there ready to serve you can't see the other lines on the other side because they were just they were black and the tennis court and the football pitch was white and really you're going to use the tennis court lines more than the football lines because they're the football lines really when if you ever play football on here you're never going to play for a throwing you're just going to be hitting it off the side so really it's more for looks. The lines are still a little bit wet, like you can see them just drying up.They'll be more of like this kind of like satin finish when they're done.
But I do think the white lines work way better.
There's a few mistakes we've made on the way as well. For example, these Niner side goals.
We've gone a bit too big with the goals. But these goals are like, they're proper.
So I think we're going to change the goals for smaller goals to go there.
We're going to go with more father side goals.
And then these goals will put down on the field for a proper football pitch even though the pitch is like really slanted this is sick this is our ultimate dream garden it's going on right now we've still got an opening and we kept this opening so then like when we finish the cars off in the builds and we want to do crazy cinematics we can like pull them onto here get them in the middle and like film like a nice shot of the cars and alongside that as well we did used to have lights on the menage but what we've done now is we've got a way higher post and that we've doubled up on the lighting and with it being higher and more light we're hoping at night we can have a little game of tennis or football whatever it'll be and it's not going to cast shadows down because when the lights were lower there was loads of shadows everywhere and it's hard to see this thing is looking sick i think another mistake we may have made is that the fence possibly could be too low on each side but if we get better at tennis or whatever sport we're playing on here the balls won't go over as much but i'm absolutely buzzing with the finished product of it and like the actual quality of the work is insane like MB Resinbound it's not a sponsored video or anything like that MB Resinbound who've come I was really happy when they did my driveway and now they've absolutely topped it with this I think we're gonna have to get them back to do even more stuff especially when we start sorting out that side of the garden as well but I think we need to have a little game of tennis now wouldn't we So finally a usable space in the garden, which also could be multi -use.The fact I can put cars on here and film the cinema.when we finish the builds, use it as a tennis court, put temporary skate park ramps on it, play football on it.The list is endless. And it doesn't spoil the view.I'm over the moon now.
