Our new friend Rick, unfortunately like many other people, needs help to be able to live the best possible life.Now if you're new around here, the NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scam Scheme.I meant to say scheme.It's a $52 billion government program in Australia created to fund support for people living with a disability.And the budget's more than our entire frickin' military.On paper, this sounds exactly like what you'd want.

Funding for therapy, daily care.equipment, and even support for people wanting to live more independently.But the way the system actually operates is where things start to get insane.Because we're actually funneling billions and billions of dollars into this scheme.And in reality we've been finding out that not all of the money is going to where it should be going and not everyone in the system is being helped in the way you'd expect.Did you ever see Like the invoices?

Did you know what they were charging?

No.I thought she got it from a government thing, which was NDIS.

So they were essentially charging you.In control.

They were in control of...I wouldn't know what their rate was.I didn't know what their rate was.

So it was like they were doing everything behind the scenes, doing the charging.If you got a support worker, invoicing.

She sent the support workers invoicing.

What was the name of the person?who actually ran this specific NDIS provider.

people like Maria potentially trafficking participants and stealing from them.Unbelievably, there are serious allegations that a young man tragically took his own life while under her company's care.She's essentially forcing the patients into her own properties and when they want to leave, she's threatening them with homelessness.She handled everything.Everything.The whole thing.

We've been in touch the past week.Tell us about these messed up invoices you received.

Well, I was told by plan managers that I didn't have enough funding left.

They said you were about to run out.

About to run out.She sent me invoices because Marsha was the only one that sent invoices in.She sent me the breakdown of the invoices of the days and the hours and all that.She sent me that many invoices, it just did my head in.I didn't sleep for two or three weeks because it was just telling me that somebody could do that.She was telling me support workers, you can't stay back late and help him because he doesn't have enough funding.

And then you look at the And just to further confirm this, not only did Rick show us the invoices, but he introduced us to his support worker, who we will call Chelsea, as she would like to remain anonymous.

But she used to work for Marsha and had this to say.

Yeah.You can't tell the client anything about your shift notes, about your roster.Really?Nothing like that.I didn't work that day, but I know who worked was Mayor.She was here from 10 to 1.

So she worked 3 hours.She invoiced and just 10 hours on that particular day.And the workers stayed for 3 hours.

You stayed for 3 hours.

She charged...I was away and she stayed for 3 hours.

And then she charged 10 hours.

on a public holiday rate.

It gets way worse than you think for Marsha because we have two invoices right here.This first invoice has the dates from 13th of October 2023 all the way to 27th of October 2023 and they charged $10 ,217 .57.That's 14 days.Keep those dates in mind because on this second invoice that she is charged to Rick.It says the exact same dates, 13th of October, 2023, all the way until 27th of October, 2023.So she's potentially charged double on both of these invoices.

We're gonna give her a clap for what she's done on these two invoices.She's a great woman.We all love her because $10 ,217 .57 down the drain of our taxpayer dollars and taking advantage of Rick.Marshall was telling the government that you had somebody here each day, 10 hours a day?

10 hours a day, every single day.Weekends, Saturday, Sunday, 10 hours.Public holidays, 10 hours.

Would she tell the staff that they could only be there for four hours?

Yeah.I was the only worker.He would be like, oh, can you please stay longer today?Because he would sometimes have sessions throughout the night.And she would say, he can't because he doesn't have any funding.But then she would be invoicing all those hours.

Yeah, how?Is it because she was busy?Pretty much putting the money into her pocket.

The conversation was, I would take as much money and to show the NDS that you need always So she said she took the money earlier.

I take the money for the whole year, but I take it earlier.

If you don't take it, I'll have money for the whole year.I'm not going to take it.smartest guy anymore, but even I know that doesn't sound right.

But what did the NDIS do when you sent in that claim?

I didn't hear anything back and I even tried to ring them a few times and they said it went to some other section.I was flagged on overspending in the months that I was with Marsha because when I found out and I was verified that she was taken, she threatened me saying that she would have me taken.off NDIS because if I went any further with it.

So if you were to speak about this in public and report it...

I don't tell anyone.The next phone call I got from NDIS was to say, yeah, I'm red flagged because of overspending.

So the NDIS get mad at you?

Not at the NDIS provider.They get mad at the participant.

Yeah.And they shut down the case.They didn't want to look any further into it.It gets stuck in my head.I won't sleep and I'll get irritated and I'll have seizures.It just brings the seizures and that on even more.

Rick also told us that his occupational therapist, Sarah Pottage, who's this lady right here.It's a massive property.Is Sarah Pottage here by chance?Sarah Pottage?Yeah, I didn't...

Yeah, I'm trying to find her.Apparently she was charging for multiple sessions when Rick never even showed up.According to Rick, I saw her once.And she charged a crazy amount of money.Like for instance, if you look at this, this was one of the sessions that they had and they charged $1 ,066 .95.Now of course, Rick never showed up, but Sarah Potter.

you know, love to charge that amount anyway.That's just one example.So this session was $775 .96.$387 .98.$1 ,163 .95.Rick claims he never went in person and Rick claimed that he never received any of the documentation as well.

$484 .98.They charged the same again, again, and again.Allegedly taking $6 ,013 .72 directly out of Rick's pocket.But this gets even worse, because Rick showed us another exclusive voice recording of what Marsha said, and it's honestly disturbing.

I say to you, I'm going to put as much hours as possible together.

Why do you have to take the extra out?

Now, when I looked into her ABN, if you don't know what an ABN is, it's Australian Business Number.And essentially every single business in Australia must have one of these to be able to run their business.So she's got two ABNs.MGC Care Group and MCG Care Group.Now watch this, you press the first one and it shows it's cancelled.Now when you press the second one, it's also being cancelled.

From 2020 all the way to 2025, they cancelled it.

843.They're approved under the NDIS and I'm assuming they're charging people under that ABN.So I wanted to look more into that.

Jamal Sabsabi, that's his actual name.Now get this, he ran a company known as Freedom Care Group.and stole $340 ,000 from literal prisoners.

Jamal Subsabi charged the government for 24 -7 disability care that he claimed to be providing to participants.The only problem is that the participants were prisoners sitting in jail cells.The way it worked is he would submit the invoices to the government.They never even checked to make sure that he was delivering the services.They never checked the identities of the participants against, say, jail records.

They just paid it out.And not only that, he actually got banned by the NDIS commission.And now he's allegedly reopened another NDIS provider under a new name, even though they were banned for screwing over other participants.

He's not supposed to contact anybody, but...He always comes to place where I work.And then he actually, because I knew, he sent me a referral form.And when I look into that, and the same guy, Jamal.

Really?The crazy thing is, he stole $340 ,000 and is able to run another NDIS provider.

Because he got his family daughter, wife or brother.

This guy right here, Jamal Sabsabi, obviously ran Freedom Care Group Pty Ltd.Freedom Care Group was permanently banned for stealing $340 ,000 for NDIS services and supports that it did not deliver to the people that were incarcerated at that time.So he was sending money to people who were incarcerated and stole.$340 ,000.Now this is where things get very interesting.She claims, the lady that sent us the tip -off, that he reopened under Lifelink Supports.

Now, literally within three months of making that statement, the government shut down his business for fraud.Quite ironic.Now, when the company collapsed, it owed more than $6 million in debt.And that's because he was taking the government money and just siphoning it off to dozens of different companies that he ran.And that meant that the workers for his companies were left out of pocket.They were left out of pocket to the tune of $550 ,000.
