Would it be crazy to give my four-year-old my iPhone 16e? He wants a camera for Christmas. All the cameras I could find for kids have games, but if I were to give him this phone, he can just have a camera app and a photos app, and he wouldn't be able to do anything else.

He could just take photos. And then if I decided to put photos on here, he could just look at his pictures. I can set like a cute picture, I could just text it to myself. Not to mention if it's a good picture, I want it to have good quality. Imagine he takes the cutest photo ever and it's literally three pixels. Three of them.

A four-year-old with a phone sounds crazy. He is almost five. But it would only be a camera. And it would be supervised. And it would be supervised. I wouldn't just be like, okay, here's your phone, go to sleep.
