To get any real damage in, you have to disable your opponent's shield, or they're just going to block your attacks. But also, it works both ways with blocking, because if you can block, then you can take way less damage at the same time.

All right? And also, the shield creates all the opportunities for combos in Shield PvP.

Once your opponent messes up and hits your shield, that will always be an opportunity.

In an actual fight, this means if I got this down, I would be able to conserve armor durability while playing aggressive, which means I can last longer in battle. first we're gonna start with a fight and then I'm gonna critique you a bit afterwards all right okay bet all right you ready yep let's go virginia juke me out Yeah, some situations I don't know what to do. I can kind of see every time I hit you back and then you're in the air and then I put my shield, you instinctively just hit my shield with your sword. In that situation, you should 100% go for a disable.

There should be no time where your sword strikes your opponent's shield without a disable. If I had to say one more thing, it would be your insta-shielding speed. You see, when you're hitting and you put up your shield at the same time, you're leaving too much of a gap between your shielding and your hitting. You're kind of going like this when you can do it at the same time. Literally swing and shield at the exact same time

so like literally press left click and right click at the same time yep exactly yeah okay all right you ready yep let's go the left click right click thing is so interesting
