I told you this was going to happen, Chums, remember?I don't like to sound cocky, but you know what I mean.We're talking amongst friends here, of course.But this is the problem.You know, I know exactly how this industry works.It's all very well them sort of coming up with this idea of, oh, you know, we're not going to speak to the press.

The press are very powerful and particularly when they pick in holes against your character, your background, the way that you've treated people.And more importantly, the disrespectful way many people might suggest the way that they treated the late monarch, and you know, whatever people may think, I think it's the most appalling thing of the curtsy.The bit I never understood, I've got to be honest with you, is when she had the opportunity to take it out, obviously the wiring's not great, right?You know what I mean, Chums?Why would you leave it in, knowing that this is going to be such a contentious piece?Now though, Markle, alongside her husband, as you can understand, Prince Harry, have really made enemies of the British press.

despite what people said the British press I would say 98 % were on their side for so many years, particularly in the run -up.People were delighted.I was running through it all at the time.People expected so much.Seemingly, the gifted ball that she'd been given, she screwed up, tossed it away and thought, I want it on my rules.Remember when they issued this particular statement, I don't know if you remember this now, about how they were going to toss aside the mainstream media and only ground pick the people that they wanted to speak to.

Well, guess what?Even the people that they now want to just speak to, like People magazine, are slowly turning against them.Because while they like the notoriety and the headlines and the clicks, they're not interested in the stories and the fakery.You know, the thing that they did, say, with Harper's Bazaar and Meghan, the interview, it didn't sell because she's not saying anything.I would say predominantly not, you know, again, don't shoot me when I say this, but I would sayshe has nothing of interest to say.

Everything is borrowed and re -eclipsed.You know, I've often said this on the show, Chums, that when you look at somebody like Madonna, I think she's talented, but the imagery is heavily borrowed from stars like Marlene Dietrich, Lana Turner, Rita Hayworth.In the early part of the career, she was trying to find who she was.Markle is just looking at anybody who's successful and thinking, oh, borrow a bit of that will do this.Hensorine is in a major spat right now with the Daily Mail and once again the bullying claims are escalating as ever.

You see, Markle really just needed to ignore Martha Stewart.I don't mean that rudely, you know, to Martha Stewart, but she, I knew it the minute that, this is what I was saying to you on our show, the minute that, you know, she kicked back, I thought, you know, you've made this 100 times worse, because now When Martha's ready, when she's got something else to promote or highlight, she's going to point out, oh, yeah, well, yeah, that really was quite bad.And then she'll bring it up again.More headlines.This, as I say, is about bullying.Remember about a year ago, though, Jason North, who now works for Prince William's Earthshot Charitable Foundation, he sat down with 60 Minutes in Australia and that was brought up.

They've had enough.And they realize that now, actually, when you've got a powerful tool, a huge organization like the Daily Mail, they don't need to sit in the sidelines.They want to tell their story.Obviously, there could be some of that attached to it, but this is going to be the start of it.This is where, just in a very quiet August, this is a very much well -executed feature against Meghan Markle.Predominantly her, it doesn't really talk too much about Harry, there's a little bit in there, but predominantly about how Meghan has treated people.

That story, which we know went around the world with recollections may vary, brilliant line from the Queen of course, aided by the beautiful Catherine.

I mean you wouldn't want to cross Catherine would you?Well this is not going away and this is part of the problem where it doesn't matter how much you stand there and talk about cookie queens and stuff like that.Nobody's buying it because your history is now catching up.Likewise, it's going to be difficult for Meghan because people that should maybe come out and defend her, like, say, the Gwyneths, like the Oprah Winfrey's, they're equally now circulating away.They don't want to be drawn into bad press.They've all got projects.
