"If you can't deport someone like [Shabir] Ahmed from this country, who can you?"

It's absolutely farcical that we have a situation like this man, Ahmed, who has been stripped of his British citizenship.So he has actually, on the basis of being stripped of his citizenship, no right to be here whatsoever.On top of that, he hasn't just perpetrated crimes against girls, minors, but he's been the ringleader of a systemic criminal operation.The Pakistanis won't take him back.

We can't let him go back because of this legislation.And there's now a debate over how that should happen.But it's almost missing the central point here.Because if you can't deport somebody like Ahmed from this country, who can you?Genuinely.
