Hello guys! Good morning. Welcome to the vlog. Happy Friday. And today, ooh, good catch, is a very, very big Friday. Today we're about to head out the door and we are going to a massive photo shoot today for me. I'm excited, I'm also nervous.

You guys know, photo shoots and video shoots in general are just like, I always just get so nervous. I don't know why. I think it might be a bit of like an imposter syndrome thing or something, but regardless, we are pushing through and today we are going to go get lots of amazing pics

for a bunch of different reasons. As I told you guys, we're gonna have new intro slate, new outro slate, new profile photos, all those things. And then also with the cookbook coming out next year, we need new pictures for press and things like that. So today is a big day. We've got Jesse on deck for photography, which I'm so excited about.

He makes me feel so comfortable, obviously. He's one of my really good friends. We've got styling, we've got hair, we've got makeup. We've got a whole house booked also as like a background.

Yes, I'm tired, let's go home. Hello guys, we are back home from our shoot. That went so, so well. I'm eating some leftover Thai food that my aunt actually left for me. I didn't get a chance to eat enough during the actual shoot, so I am so hungry. But the shoot went so well.

I felt really comfortable actually on camera today, which I'm really proud of. I think I'm eating... It might be Patsy. Ooh, it's good. Whatever it is. I loved all the looks. My publicist was amazing and kind of arranged the whole shoot. So everything went super smoothly. Had the best team. Obviously, Jesse absolutely slayed it and just made me feel so comfortable. I have some big news today. Officially at 5 p.m. That's Friday, so at 5 p.m. officially, which honestly I think is in like

20, three minutes?

Oh, I was gonna say in 20 minutes. In three minutes, I officially become Remy Parsons. I've been talking about it on the podcast, but I have been in the midst of changing my last name officially. They make it very hard for you. And then after this I need to change like all of my documents. So my passport, it kind of worked out perfectly.

My passport's actually expiring really soon and I was going to need a new one anyways to travel. So it kind of worked out perfectly. I needed a new passport. I needed to get the real ID. So the timing worked out perfectly. I'll also need new credit cards, all that kind of stuff. But first before I do that I need to actually officially legally change my name which again it's happening and now probably like a minute and it's bittersweet. I'm so excited I'm so happy to be a Parsons

I kind of wasn't sure what I was going to do, but then after we got married I felt very sure about it But it's definitely bittersweet. I Have been a cruise for the past 30 years of my life and you know in my heart I feel like I'll always be a cruise also makeup done and we cannot let it go to waste. So Cal and I are gonna go have some celebratory drinks to cheers to being the Parsons. Also I forgot to mention, the reason why it's Friday at 5 p.m. is because that's when like everything

I got a baby pink apron sent which is so exciting love an apron actually don't have an apron while I'm here So lovely to have this we also got baby pink kitchen towels you guys know I love a kitchen towel I love the William Sonoma brand ones too because they are really nice and durable and they're great They're absorbent for water when you wash dishes. They're great for like cleaning things up. They're decorative. They're cute We also got this oven mitt, which is beautiful. Baby pink, very Glinda.

Very Glinda. And then we got this solid wood spoon. La Crusade stuff is obviously very nice quality, so great for mixing up in my cauldron. And then, do you see the pot that we got? The box is adorable.

It says pink goes good with green. I know, so they came out with green and they came out with pink and I'm gonna put this in my little memory box It came with this suitcase set Linda suitcases and it says that it's limited edition and they made 7154 of the pink pots and this is number 4094 which is so exciting that's going in memory box. And then the pot itself is so beautiful.

This is a perfect size. This is the 4.5 quart size. I actually didn't bring any of our Dutch ovens when we moved here, so this is so great for the whole soup season coming up. I can make soups in here.

This is the perfect size for like two people or like four people for soups, for stews, for braising, for all the things. It's beautiful, it's got Glinda on the top, etched on top with butterflies and the gold handle's so pretty. I love it so much, after Abby's wedding, I think I've become a gold girl, believe it or not,

which is crazy to say. And then they also sent me this, which I've never owned one of these before, This is so great whether it's, again, cold season, like cold, chilly weather season, or if you're doing something for the holidays. I believe this is like a cast iron thing you put down on the table, so you can put the pot directly on the table

and it won't burn your table, which is really nice. And it's matching pink, which is so cute. The color, I believe, is like chiffon pink. Yes, chiffon pink, Bon Bon Hibiscus. I don't know what that means, but I love that name so much. And thank you to La Cresce. Ow, my face. So excited.

I was a lot of popcorn, a lot of butter. If you did not know, their teriyaki chicken, get Just the Chicken, it's just literally grilled chicken. And it's delish if you need a little protein kick. So, highly recommend. I do Just the Chicken, no sauce. Yay! We've made it to my favorite chair in the world.

I haven't had it in a long time, but when I get a craving for it, I need it. So I got some at Sprouts yesterday and I made it. It's a little thick and I like to make mine sweet.

I don't know why I chose chopsticks, but we'll do a taste test. I made it in the microwave. That's actually great. I like to put honey on mine or brown sugar. Drizzle a honey and that's how we eat it.

Now that I've dirtied the chopsticks, I'm just gonna use these since it's thick. All right, I'm gonna eat this. I'm boiling some eggs also to have some protein. Do you want some hard boiled eggs?
