I live in Australia, I'm waiting for my son at school pickup and I just, random stream of consciousness realized why I love Solo so much. For those who aren't from Australia or haven't been here before, Solo is like a, it's a soda is what we would call it in the States, it's a soft drink here, it's a fizzy, lemony, soda beverage, soft drink, whatever you want to call it.And I've been drinking it almost since day one of moving here. And it is a little bit of a treat because it's very sweet, but I loved it from the moment that I tasted it.And a big part of why I loved it, I realize now, is because it's got the intensity of flava that American drinks have.
You know, like American snacks and drinks, we don't really, we disregard the dyes and the additives and the preservatives, and we kind of just do what we want, for better or for worse.Solo tastes like that.It tastes like it shouldn't be allowed here.It tastes like the European Union would have banned it, but it didn't.And I'm here for that.It actually, it actually tastes like home.
And it also tastes like Sprite, but like on steroids. It's like an elevated Sprite.Sprite in the States is not lemonade.Lemonade is different in the States.Lemonade is not fizzy in the States. And then Sprite is Sprite.
That's a whole other topic.Solo is Sprite lifting weights at the gym.No one can change my mind.
